Today, Roy was wandering around aimlessly as usual.

Dressed in casual black attire and holding a cup of cola, Roy watched the bustling streets, contemplating the meaning of life.

"The existence and occurrence of things should have their own internal rules and meanings. As someone who has travel to another world, what should I, as a traveler, do?" Roy's system was only responsible for conveying benefits, with no corresponding obligation to fulfill on his part.

"No, that's not entirely accurate." He pondered. "Perhaps I'm currently in an observation period, and when the time is right, there might be a response."

Roy had never considered the possibility that the system might be manipulating him. Mainly because, in his previous life, he was an extremely ordinary individual among 7 billion people worldwide. He had no special talents, appearance, intelligence, or background. The value of such a commonplace person was merely average at best.

At least Roy didn't believe he had the value deserving of acquiring the Dark Matter ability. In fact, he doubted that even 0.01% of the people in his original world had that kind of value.

Therefore, even if the system was indeed scheming something, Roy felt it was a worthwhile endeavor. Life lasts only a hundred years, but the appearance of the system had given him infinite possibilities.

"If that's the case, being idle all the time doesn't seem very good." He thought seriously as he disposed of his empty cup in the trash. "I should probably go register at the Hero Association and become a professional hero or something."

"Ahhhhh.... Monster! Monster!"

"Quick, call for a hero!"

Suddenly, there was a commotion in the street.

Another monster had appeared.

"Cry! Scream!" A monster laughed wielding two keyboard swords, his entire body covered in keyboards. "If the heavens did not create me, the Keyboard Knight, then the keyboard is eternal darkness. I am the Keyboard Knight, enforcing justice in the virtual world. Once awaken, my body has already undergone transformation. Key Strike!"

Wow, are there really monsters like this?

"Monster! Help!" A bystander fell to the ground, looking as though he was on the verge of collapse, shivering with fear and almost unable to muster the courage to maintain rationality.

"What's wrong with the monster? Did monster eat your ass? Am I the only one who thinks the monster is a good guy?" The Keyboard Knight swung his keyboards, "Take this, You look so handsome, obviously thats a plastic fake Slash!"

Just as the Keyboard Knight's keyboard was about to strike the innocent bystander's face, Roy flicked his finger, sending an almost invisible needle made of the Dark Matter flying towards the Keyboard Knight's keyboard.

It wasn't an ordinary needle. It was a flying projectile made of the Dark Matter, capable of deflecting the monster's weapon. With just one strike, the Keyboard Knight's keyboard was knocked away.

But that wasn't all.

When the needle hit the keyboard and bounced off, it suddenly decomposed into tiny but highly intense threads, attaching to the bystander's clothes and throwing Roy to a place where the monster couldn't reach.

"Who are you?! Attacking others sneakily, it's clear you lack proper upbringing!"

Is this what they call a first-rate monster? It's ingrained in his bones to ridicule people, huh?

"Tiger-class... no, does it have the level of a Demon-class? Although it seems like it's just ridiculing people, it actually disrupts others' cognition, amplifying emotions such as fear and anger." Roy squinted, recalling the overly aggressive reaction of the bystander earlier. "How can there be such a high frequency of monster appearances here? This isn't the outskirts of Z City."

He sighed softly, feeling once again worried about the future of this disaster-prone world.

People's lives are tough enough as it is.

Too much pressure can turn people into monsters, and not being strong enough will get you eliminated. And if you're just an ordinary person, even a casual stroll can lead to encountering monsters, resulting in a considerable death rate.

"It's too dangerous here, to the point where I've started to consider the clothes made of nanomachines I wear as everyday attire."

Roy's casual outfit.

It looks like ordinary clothes, but upon closer inspection, one can see that the craftsmanship of this garment is unlike any other existing clothing.

It is essentially composed of countless nanomachines arranged in an orderly and systematic manner.

It's quite functional.

For example, it can be rearranged at any time to become a nano-battle suit with stronger defense, mobility, and attack power, or other types of armament. It also has basic protection and environmental adaptation functions.

"Of course, the most important thing is to increase the number of nanomachine units that make up The Walrider. After all, my body capacity is limited."

"Is it you?!"

The Keyboard Knight locked his gaze on Roy, probably because Roy didn't flee in panic.

"Take my twenty years of professional trolling and experience as a keyboard warrior, transformed into a killer move after turning into a monster!!"

The Keyboard Knight opened his mouth wide.

"Your mom is so yummy, welcome your stepdad Slash!!"

A slender water jet, even more fierce than a high-pressure water gun, shot out from his mouth. Its cutting ability could probably rival that of a water cutter.

"What a cruel spell, if it had been anyone else, they would have lost control of their cognition and been filled with anger." At Roy's sleeve, the clothes seemed to move as if alive, a precursor to manipulating nanomachines and transforming.

But Roy seemed to sense something.

"Is a hero coming? Hmm, it seems like someone will rush out to tackle me next, so let's go with the flow."

"Danger!"

Sure enough, a girl wearing a black suit, a lily headband on her head, and dyed hair swiftly tackled Roy, narrowly evading the Keyboard Knight's attack.

"It's dangerous here, hurry and take shelter!"

After the girl finished speaking to Roy, she picked up a three-section staff and stood with a group of people in black.

One of them, a middle-aged man with long eyelashes and holding an eyelash curler, shouted sternly, "That's enough, monster! I am Eyelashes, ranked second in the B-level heroes of the Blizzard Group! There are over 20 B-level heroes here!"

"Over 20 B-level heroes... but they'll probably get defeated miserably."

The Hero Association classified this monster as a Tiger-class disaster level, which requires five B-rank heroes or one A-rank hero to handle, posing a potential threat of casualties.

But in reality, it's a Demon-class monster that requires ten A-rank heroes or one S-rank hero to deal with.

"That cruel spell just now probably wasn't his strongest move yet. Maybe he'll undergo a second phase."

Because he was being protected as an ordinary person, Roy huddled on the street corner, hugging his legs, expressionless as he watched the performance of the self-proclaimed Blizzard Group.

And then...

"Wahhhhh!"

The twenty or so B-level heroes, who were just moments ago riding high, were quickly beaten down by the transformed Keyboard Knight, or rather, the Keyboard Knight Phase Two - Large CPU Fan Monster. They lay on the ground with their eyes closed.

Among them, Eyelashes, the second-ranked B-level hero, shouted, "We can't hold on! Hurry! Go call for support from Fubuki-sama!"
