The Okaba

(A/N = The moment I said "I'm back!" The next day I had to go somewhere for the whole day... The same with the other two... Like... Really?)

"Old man..." A woman's voice sounded out from the phone. A friendly looking old man smiled and answered, "Ah! Kyoko! How is my cute grand daughter doing? It's been a few days since your father gave you that mission. Did Kiriga and the others started playing off again?"

The phone stayed silent, as the old man continued with a sigh, "Haa... It's alright Kyoko. Those three are still young. You should join them while you're at it. Being serious all the time isn't good for your health. You don't need to worry about those lizards and kittens-"

The old man froze, as he heard the woman's sobbing noises coming out of the phone. "Kyoko? What's wrong? Did something happened?" The woman started crying, as she tried to tell him something. "W-We... failed..."

Dread started to cover his being, as he realized what happened to her team. "Where is Mikio!? If he's there give the phone to him!" After he said that, there was only silence before a man's voice sounded out.

"Old man..." The old man turned serious and said with a solemn tone, "What's your situation?" the phone stayed silent for a few seconds before a sigh can be heard. "It's... very bad..." The old man started to get anxious and impatient, as he waited for Mikio to keep going.

"Everyone... except me... and Kyoko... died." His eyes widened in shock before asking with a loud voice, "Are you serious?! What happened?!" Mikio started to explain what had happened to the others and slowly cried, as he talked about Kyoko's condition.

"Kyoko... Her legs... just below to her knees... and her left hand... was amputated..." He immediately gritted his teeth in anger and shouted, "What the hell do you mean by amputated!? Why didn't they use healing quirks!?"

Before he could get an answer. He could hear a woman crying in the background, as Mikio tried to comfort her. His anger and grief kept rising, as he listen to Kyoka's cry in despair. "Where are you right now."

"...We are in Muyabi Hospital." Mikio says, as he kept comforting Kyoka. The old man nodded and said with a serious tone, "Can you pass the phone back to Kyoka?" A hum sounded out from the phone as the sobbing woman was getting louder.

"Y-Yes...?" The old man's face darkens, as he heard the sadness in her voice. "Kyoka... When can you be discharged from the hospital?" "The nurse said that I can leave in a few weeks... Mostly a month or two.."

The old man nodded and stood up from the ground before saying, "Alright. Wait for us there. We will be visiting soon." The moment he finished the woman's suprised voice sounded out, "What?! No need! It would be dangerous! It's better if grandpa and the rest stays ther-"

"Stop right there, Kyoka." The old man said with a serious tone. The woman stopped talking and silence begin to cover the room. The old man sighed and stood back up from the floor before talking with a soft voice.

"Remember what I told you when you were young? A wolf pack always stick together and will never leave anyone behind. If one of them got injured, the rest will help. If one of them dies, the rest will mourn. And if one of the got killed, the rest will seek out for revenge."

"I don't care if those weak kittens and no legged lizards has the upperhand or things that could double their quirk power. You are part of the family and we will always be there for one another. Now. Get yourself some choco milk and wait for us there."

"Wai-!" *Beep* *Beep* *Beep* The old man slowly placed back the phone before walking out of the room. He looked around the place before going to the dining room. The sound of people could be heard from inside the room, as he stands before the door.

He opened the door to find five members of the gang fighting over big fried tuna. A blond haired man stabbed the big fish with his chopsticks and tried to pull it over to his side. He looked at the green haired man and said, "This is now mine!"

A vein popped out from the green haired man forehead before stabbing the tuna, "Hah?! Who says that this specific tuna is yours?! There is no name on it!" Before he could get an answer a red haired woman pushed him away and tried to take the tuna away, "Ah ah ah~! Ladies first!"

The pink haired woman beside her pulled her hair and shouted"Don't you even dare you big boobed bitch! Youngest always goes first!" The woman clicked her tongue and said with a pissed off expression, "Just because your 19 years old! Doesn't mean you can have it!"

The black haired mature looking woman sighed and said with a tired tone, "Oh please, the size of the tuna is literally a meter. Just cut them up and share it with everyone." Everyone stopped and looked at the woman before saying "Hmph!" and went back to fighting for the tuna.

The black haired woman sighed and looked at her leader for help. The leader had short black hair and purple sharp eyes. He looked at the other and contemplated on what to do. He slowly turned his head to the ones that is fighting for the tuna and said with a solemn tone, "Everyone stop."

Hearing their leader ordered them with a serious tone, they instantly went back to their seat and stayed silent. The black haired woman sighed but was confused as their leader stood up from his seat. The leader walked towards the tuna and said, "You all are wrong. It's not about age, nor about who called it first-"

He turned his hand into a giant werewolf claw and grabbed it. "-It's always Alpha first." He quickly took it away and place it in his table. The black haired woman tiredly sighed, as the other members started to fight for the tuna.

"Hah?! Not fair!" "Alpha can go fuck himself! Gimme that!" "Yasuo-kun~ I'm the hottest one in the group right~ Can you giv-" "Fuck off you damn old hag! As the youngest and cutest one of the group! I should be sharing it!" "You damn kid!"

As they were fighting for the tuna, the black haired woman sighed and widened her eyes when she saw that the leader's old man was standing on the doorway. The old man was looking at them with a solemn expression.

This immediately flared her instincts as she felt that there is definetly going to be a very serious announcement. "Ahem! Guys! The old man is here!" Everyone immediately froze before weakly turning their head towards him.

"O-Oh... Hey old man..." Said the leader, as he sat back down at his chair. Everyone quickly did the same and went back to their seat. The old man sighed and thought, 'I really should do something about this in the future...'

He sighed and turned serious, "There has been some terrible news coming from Mikio's group." Everyone immediately had a worried and solemn expression as their leader asked, "What's wrong with them? That should be a very easy job to do."

His father sighed and said, "Mikio's group.... was ambushed"

"Could you make it even colder?" The white haired boy as he stared, at the cold glass of water. "Yes..." The dark blue haired girl increased the intensity of the coldness in her mist and let it flow down from her palms.

But after a few seconds, she yelp in pain and quickly submerge her hands into a warm bowl of water. "Uhh... That was very cold..." The white haired boy smiled and said, "That should be normal. Afterall, we're training your body to handle the coldness from you quirk."

"Not only that, it seems that you last a bit longer than before." He said with a bright smile. Hearing that her training actually made some progress, a warm smile was slowly formed on her face. "That's good! Let's keep going! I feel like I could do another on-"

Before she finished, the boy created a towel and threw it to her face. The girl's eyes widened before dodging the towel. "What was that for!?" The boy sighed and said, "Your quirk training is done for today. You need to take an hour rest before doing your physical training with Rumi."

The girl pouted and flopped back down on her seat. "Fine..." He softly smiled and felt buzzing coming from the phone in his pocket. He quickly took it out and saw a few notifications coming from both Rumi and Momo.

He raised an eyebrow before going to Momo's DM.

YMM : KAAAIII!

YMM : I'M SORRY ABOUT YESTERDAY!!

YMM : I left my phone on my bed before going out with my parents...

HVR : (sweat_drop_emoji)

HVR : It's alright Momo. You don't need to apoligize for that.

YMM : Really?

HVR : Yes

YMM : Oh... Okay then!

YMM : Anyways! I wanted to ask if you could go to Tokyo in the next few months

HVR : Why?

YMM : My parents are going there for a business meeting and they didn't want me to stay in the house alone. Also! Because it would be my birthday!

HVR : September?

YMM : Yup! I wanted to invite you to the party there. It's just a small party with friends and family. I also wanted to meet with your new friends! I really can't wait to see them face to face!

Looking at the newest message he thought, 'That is actually a great news. I could meet her again and the others could finally meet her.' He looked at Aoi, who is currently making weird and random noises with her mouth.

He snickered and asked with a smile, "Hey, Aoi." She turned her head towards him and asked, "What?" He showed his phone to her and let her red it. Her eyes widened in suprise before have a wide smile, "Oh my god! I can finally meet her! Though... I need to ask my parents..."

He shrugged and said, "It's a few months from now. I don't think it would be a problem." Aoi nodded and laid her head on the table before making weird sounds from her mouth. Kai chuckled before going back to his phone.

HVR : The others also can't wait to meet you too.

YMM : Hehe! That's good... Oh, I need to go now. See you later!

HVR : See you later.

He smiled at the message before going to Rumi's DM.

USAKO : Yo! Kai! I got some very interesting news!

HVR : (raised_eyebrow_emoji)

USAKO : Do you know about that destroyed building near your place?

HVR : Yes?

USAKO : Turns out that was the aftermath of a fight! Crazy! Seriously, are they not afraid of All Might? His agency is literally in Tokyo.

HVR : ....

USAKO : What?

HVR : I was there when it happened...

USAKO : What!? And you didn't tell me!?

'Is she actually concerned?' He thought, when reading her message.

USAKO : That is so sick! You should have told me about their strength! Just from looking at that building I could already tell they are strong!

'Nevermind...'

HVR : ...

HVR : Anything else?

USAKO : Oh yeah! There's also a rumor about a quirk enchancing drug going around in the underworld. Though, I don't think much about it.

'So this is the start of the trigger popularity...'

HVR : That's crazy.

USAKO : I know right?

USAKO : Oh shit. I forgot about the time... I'll be meeting with you soon. Cya.

HVR : Cya.

Looking at the last message, he sighed and placed his phone down on the table before getting a bit bored. 'What am I going to do now?' He looked at the bored Aoi and sighed, "Do you want to do anything?"

Aoi turned her head towards him, before giving him a shrug. "I don't know... Everything in my mind is just training... Maybe we could play with the toys." He sighed and thought, 'Yeah... No...' He boredly stare at the sky and before widening his eyes, as he realized about something.

'I have a few hours to myself everyday... I could use that time to explore some worlds... I mean... It's just a few hours... What could go wron-' *Oi! You got a call! Damn Herrscher of Laziness!* He sighed and grabbed his phone.

'Dad?' He thought, as he looked at who called him. 'That's new... He never calls me at this time of day.' He accepted the call and his father's voice was heard rom the speaker, "Kai? Can you help me with something?"

The young herrscher raised an eyebrow before asking with an unsure tone, "Yes?"

"Great! Anyways, I need you to teleport me to my workshop."

"Can't you just use the... Oh wait... The car is still broken..."

"Yep... And also because I need to go to a meeting with Naomasa and the survivors from last few days." The boy's face turned into confusion as he thought, 'A meeting with them? Why in hell would they go on a meeting with them?'

"I see... But wouldn't it be better if you just use the subway? That seems like a very long jump."

"... Why would I waste our money for that? My son literally have a portal ability that could go a few kilometers. And because, I need to be there in a few minutes..."

"Uhuh... Alright then, I don't really have anything to do now... So send me the map."

"Okay! Thanks in advance."

*Ping* He quickly looked at the map that was sent by his father. 'That's... Kinda far. But I should manage... I guess world travelling would be starting tommorow...'

"Alright. I'll pick you up there."

"Thanks son!"

Looking at the ended call, he raised an eyebrow an muttered, "I didn't think that our roles would reverse like that..." He sighed and created a portal beside him. Aoi looked suprise before asking, "Kai? Where are you going?"

"Just going to help my dad with something." He said, as he stood up from the chair. "Humm... Okay... Just remember to come back! You promised!" He gave her a wry smile before going through the portal.

A dark purple portal appeared on top of a roof before two figures came out of it. A red haired man with yellow eyes and a white haired kid with light blue eyes. "Thanks again for the help Kai!" The man said, as he jumped down from the roof.

The white haired boy sighed and followed him down the roof. He quickly controlled the space around him and landed on the ground safely. He looked at his father who was already a few meters from him and quickly sprint to his side.

His father heard his footsteps and quickly turned his head towards him. He looked at his son in confusion and asked, "Uhh... Kai? Why are you here? I thought you would instantly go back." Kai shrugged and said, "I don't have anything to do now. Also because, I want to meet them too."

His father hummed and nodded, "I think that should be okay... I mean were just going to do chat for a while before going back." Both of them went in the hospital and found Naomasa standing around in the lobby.

"Nao! I'm here!" Naomasa quickly turned his head towards Akira and smiled, "Finally. I thought you would be here in an hour... I that your son?" Before he finished, he noticed Kai behind him and immediately asked.

Akira sheepishly laughed and replied, "Well... He didn't really have enough energy to go back. So, he's stuck here with me until then." Hearing his excuse, Naomasa sighed and rubbed his forhead in annoyance. Kai, on the other hand mentally gave his father a thumbs up for the great excuse.

"Haaa.... I guess he could join in... Just make him behave." Naomasa said while walking towards the hallway. Akira smiled and reassured him, as they were walking together. Kai silently followed behind them an thought, 'That should be fine... I could behave... What could go wrong?'

The trio finally arrived by the room and opened the door. A bald man wearing a yellow shirt and black pants was sitting beside the black short haired woman who was laying down on the hospital bed with a sad frown.

They quickly turned their heads towards them and sighed. Akira had a wry smile as he says with an unsure tone, "Uhh... Did we interrupted anything?" The bald man shook his head and gave him a smile, "No, you didn't. Please, come and sit down. We are ready...."

He stopped talking, as he saw the white haired kid beside him. 'Oh no... The weird kid is here!' Kai looked at the gang member with an odd expression, 'Why is he looking at me like that? Didn't I save him?'

"So... If your done staring at my son. We should start now." Akira said while walking towards the nearest seat. Everyone nodded and went to their seats before the detective started to ask the questions.

Kai stayed silent, as he heard his questions before thinking. 'Is that it? Just some questions about her identity and what happened in her perspective? Although the information about the fight could be helpful... It doesn't exactly gave me anything except for AFO doing all this.'

Suddenly, his eyes widened in suprise as he hear a lot of footsteps outside the room. 'That's a lot of people... Is it an attack?!' He immediately readied himself for a fight as the door banged opened. Seven figures using black suits quickly came in with a serious expression.

"KYOOOKOOO!!!!"

HELLO EVERYONE! MY LAPTOP IS DEAD SO IM USING MY PHONE! SORRY FOR THE LATE UPDATE... ANYWAYS, THE OTHERWORLD TRAVELLING WILL BE IN THE NEXT FEW CHAPTERS. I HAVE PICKED SOME ANIMES FOR THE WORLDS... BUT THE THING IS..

Since, the time of my laptop's destruction. I've been getting into my novel reading lately. So, while my laptop is getting fixed. Can you guys give me some reccomendation for an action novel? Or something similar to Nanomancer. I really love that novel. I should try doing that.

Okay, now that that's done. It's time to talk about the levelling... Both Danmachi and Arifureta's levelling system are very similar to each other. They both need the person to do something equal to the amount of stats you going to get. So if you were to kill a mob without any hardwork and just one shot kill them it won't get much... So, the MC must fight something that could equal his powers to get more stats. But the magic and blessings are a plus.
