(Author's Note: First time writing, it gets better. Will have lemons and sexual content, will contain abuse and some dark topics in the beginning, and I haven't decided on Harem. Absolutely No NTR or Mc r*ping. Might have some netori which is the MC taking other people's girls.) (Additional Author's Note: The MC is not super smart, MC will make mistakes, he is short sighted, he is trying to be smarter than he really is which will lead to some problems, you can insult the MC because he is not perfect.) Will Update least once a week but more like 3 or 4 chapters a week. Probably will upload a good amount fast at least until 25 chapters Disclaimer:The story is fictional and doesn't represent any persons, opinions, things, or perspectives of anybody particular. Tragic

I was wrong.

You see in California self defense laws are stupid. If they are not an immediate danger to your life it is not self defense. Since they were both running away after the first shot I was not justified and since I thought I was in danger I got two counts of Voluntary Manslaughter and a bunch of firearm charges.

I had to fight to even get this sentence as the Prosecution to hit me with two second degree murders because there was political pressure to put an Asian in jail for reasons I will not elaborate on.

Now I am here now stuck in the middle of a mass shooting with my only two friends. Life Sucks.

We were enjoying my first birthday since getting out last year. I was turning 22 and they decided we should drink now that I am of age and go to the club because one of our favorite DJs Martin Garrix was performing.

We heard blood curdling screaming in the quiet part of the set and turn around and see a mass shooter.

Then I see a guy in full tactical gear start aiming in our direction from less than 5 feet away.

Eddy on instinct attempts to rush the shooter

"RUN" He shouts

As the shooter unloads on him from close range. His body rag dolls with momentum forward into the shooter knocking him slightly off balance.

As Eddy was getting shot we instinctively flinched and started running but stopped as we saw him off balance.

A quick calculation in my head and I realized we had better chances of rushing the shooter and surviving right now as right now the club was like a can of sardines and there was not much room to run without being in the shooters sights.

Luke must of made the same calculation too because we both rushed the shooter.

Unfortunately this was one of those mass shooters who is super motivated and must of trained a lot.

Instead of fighting to regain his balance on his feet he lets himself fall and starts shooting while on his back.

I started to see the flames of a gun shooting at me a Luke and I sensed next to me that Luke took the first couple of rounds and had gone down.

I saw Luke take the first rounds and collapse. I couldn't accept the idea that my friends were dead. They had been my lifeline through my darkest times.

My ears rang once again, and I felt numb, helpless, as the shooter adjusted his aim and fired at me.
