Mana Training and New World

After Fein taught me about mana breathing, I realized that it would be easy to increase my mana stat. (Luck- greatly improved natural luck). With this, I have a much better chance of increasing my mana. I decide to start doing mana breathing everyday when I wake up, when my lungs are "in the most natural state", according to Fein. After I tried it the first time, I got a notification in 5 minutes. (MP increased by 1(perm))

This should mean that my MP will travel between worlds. From what I can tell, using items only effects the world I am in, while doing the work is permanent. After the walking yesterday, my CON increased by 2 and STR by 1. If we ran, than AGI would likely go up as well.

I stand up and walk over to Fein, who is cooking a rabbit. The meat from the animals here is very nutritional, so we don't need to eat everyday if we ration it. And no, the rabbit does not count as a monster. After eating, we start walking again, but this time I practice moving my mana through my body. The store is located around the heart, so a person's heartbeat can effect their mana. With each heartbeat, a small amount of mana is released, which I direct using my mind.

The feeling is weird, like flexing a muscle that doesn't exist. It's not as simple as wanting it to move to my hand, I have to perform an action, even though no physical movement is required. The mana moves through the veins with the blood, but it doesn't cause displacement. Really weird.

After a few more hours of training, we see a monster. Smaller, maybe 2 feet tall, but a very light grey. It looks like a rabbit, but with six legs and small antlers on its head. It disappears. Gone. Too fast for either of us to possibly track. I feel a push on my stomach and look down, see the derabbit hit me. I am flung back at break neck speed, crashing into a tree. With the wind knocked out of me, I can't warn Fein when the derabbit strikes her in the back, sender her flying as well. Panicking, I quickly use Return to give me some time.

Waking up in the room again, I look around. It looks the same as before. I sit and think for a while, wandering what I could possibly do against something neither of us can even track. The most logical solution would be to enter another door, but I have no idea what might be behind them. Not thinking of anything else, I finally decide to open the door to the right of the north door, east.

When I look through the door, I see a person, being attacked by someone else. Both seem to be frozen, mid attack. Right before I step through the door, memories flash through my mind.

-my parents had a strange sense of humor, so when they learned I had high potential of being a mage since birth, they named me rogue. Growing up on a small village, I saved up enough money to leave for the Mage Academy. I made it in on my second attempt, which is better than most. I wasn't a prodigy or anything, but I was doing well. In order to graduate to second class from first class, I had to accompany a professional dungeon diver into a dungeon. My main power lays in boosting and enchanting, so I wasn't much of a fighter-

(Changing stats to match new body...STR 7 AGI 6 CON 7 MP 5 HP 10) plus 4 world based mana? Not bad with what I could feel from just 2. I lost one from the stone, being based In world 1, but gained 4 based on world 2.

(World 2:?? World 2 quest:- World based skills:Enchant lv 2 AGI boost lv 2 STR boost lv 2 HP boost lv 2)

Seeing the available skills for this world, I prepare to start casting my spells. According to my new memories, the mana in this world is more rigid, only responding to skills, which are gained at birth or through skill books. Walking through the door, I feel my soul enter the body, unlike previously where it used my old body. I only have enough mana for 2 casts, and my teammate is losing. I quickly cast AGI boost and STR boost, and rush at the monster, a bear about the size of a person.

Right before the bear's claws go through my teammate, I push it off to the side, confusing both the bear and my teammate. I currently am wearing a black robe and am carrying a neutral wand, which is a wand that doesn't have an affinity. I stab the bear through the eye with the wand, sinking all the way to the brain.

My teammate, dazed by the turn of events and the almost life ending experience, looks over to me, muttering a thanks. I don't pay him much mind, as I look around to make sure we are safe. We are currently on the third level of a small dungeon, only 5 levels deep. "I think we reached our limit" I say to him while pulling him up. Still in a daze, he follows me to the stairs that lead upward. For most dungeons, only one group can enter at a time, and when a floor is cleared it stays cleared until they leave.

If a dungeon is completed, all of the loot will be teleported to the loot chamber. As we make our way up, I pick up as much loot as possible. Not having much strength, I can only pick up a little, leaving my melee based teammate to hold more. When we make our way out, we are greeted by by magic theory teacher, who asks "So, how far do you make it?" With each floor getting considerably harder than the last, having a support mage that can help you get down even one or two more floors is considered great.

The man I was with only made it to the second floor before getting mobbed by slimes. "Half way through the third floor, sir" I bow respectfully. As in most fictional worlds, the mages here always want respect, even when none is do. "Good" He says, and hands me a necklace. It has the symbol of the mage academy, an olive branch with a star going from the edges, like a famous symbol from earth. It has enchantments that allow me to open doors that are locked to first class students.
