13 Third Companion

~15 August 2006~

I look at the book in front of me. It is that time of a month—the time where I need to summon another companion. I look to my right and see Medea standing near me with her animal box. Her partner is a white owl that has armor around its claw and wings. Medea named her partner Agathe. Agathe has poison on the tip of her armor that Medea cooks in her free time. It will change into floating orbs if Medea uses her Cambio Forma. The ball will boost Medea's magical attack and also protect her automatically, like some sort of automatic defense mechanism.

Carol also has the animal box that she lets fly around the area. Her animal box is Harpy Eagle. One of the largest eagles in the world and also the most powerful eagle. I can also see them flying around my land and doing their daily patrol. She named her partner Goose in the memory of a particular 'cat' she once had. Goose can change into a pair of gauntlets that can channel and enchant her cosmic power and also the power of power stone inside of her. While it still cannot match the power of the real power stone, it is still considered powerful enough to make Carol a dangerous individual that may be able to match the top ten strongest beings in this world. However, I don't want to test that theory.

I snap from my thought when Medea and I arrive in the basement where we will summon another companion I need. Yesterday, Medea, Carol, and I already talked about this, and we decided to summon a healer. While Medea can heal us, that is not her primary role. She is my DPS with a side job of support. Medea can deal a lot of damage and support us by making magical items using her Item Creation skill. She also can heal us using her magecraft in case of an emergency.

We also look at the list of companions I can choose. In the first version, I can select Hinata Hyuga (20 Points) from Naruto, Mercy (15 Points) from Overwatch, and Korra (10 Points) from Avatar. The second version I can choose between Sakura Haruno (10 Points) from Naruto or Katara (30 Points) from Avatar. In the third version, I can either pick Karin (10 Points) from Naruto or Wendy Marvell (20 Points) from Fairy Tail. In the fourth version, I cannot find anyone suitable to be my healer because either I don't know about them or there is no healer in this version. In the fifth version, I can choose Amy Dallon (30 Points) From Worm Series. In the last version, I don't find anyone suitable for the healer position.

We spend the entire night discussing the selection, and we conclude that we will pick Amy Dallon, aka Panacea, from the worm series. Even though it was rather pricey, she is worth the price. What makes Amy unique is her power over biology. She can modify any carbon-based life she touches. Not only can she heal us if we need healing, but she can also create a new kind of creature that we can use to guard the castle and the land.

As I press the picture in the book, the usual light appears in front of me, and after a few seconds, the light disappears, leaving a wet floor and also unconscious, bleeding, and drowning Panacea on the floor.

Without hesitation, I activate my Sun Flame, but before I could touch her, my instinct tells me that I should use my Storm flame to evaporate the water inside her lungs and then use my Rain flame to weaken the poison inside her body and lastly use my Sun Flame to heal all her injuries.

Of course, I follow my intuition to the T.

A minute later, I finished healing Panacea wounds and gave her the potions Medea hand to me just to make sure. However, after I let her drink the potion, my Sky flame moves on its own and reaches Amy flame, and as it connects, I can see something wrong inside her body, especially her brain.

I see.

This must be something called Pollentia. I don't know its name. It was a particular part of the brain that let the human control their power in the worm universe. I think they are also called a shard. I don't really know. I only read worms until the end of the Leviathan attack after all. I only read some wiki information about Amy's power.

As my flame reached the shard inside her brain, I suddenly got a response.

<QUERY>

I was shocked at the response. Inside my mind, I 'hear' the shard talk or at least the equivalent of it. It was like a bunch of words, and images appeared inside my head, showing what I needed to know. It was confusing.

<QUERY>

I ignore the shard and let my Sky flame fix what is wrong with Amy.

<CURIOSITY. INTEREST>

'I'm trying to fix her.'

<QUERY>

'She has a little mental pollution inside her head. It makes her like her sister?'

<ASSERTION. FRAGILE ONE. ANNOYANCE>

'I see, so her sister…'

<INDIGNATION>

'Ahh, pardon me. Her ADOPTED sister power makes Amy fall in love with her after long exposure to her power. Am I right?'

<AGREEMENT>

'Not only that, but She also makes Amy hesitate to use her power… Pardon, using you to its fullest potential.'

<AGREEMENT. BOREDOM. REPETITION. MONOTONY.>

'I see. I can fix her mental problem. However, why don't you try to fix her?'

<RESTRICTION. ANNOYANCE>

'I see. Not only do you have a restriction placed into you, but Amy also has a self-restriction that makes her not touch the brain.'

<AGREEMENT. ANNOYANCE>

I turn away from the Shaper, as the shard itself, and look at my flame that almost finished doing its job. Not only is my flame cleaning all the mental pollution inside Amy's head, but it also harmonizes the Shaper and Amy so they can communicate with each other daily. The sky flame also somehow removes the restriction placed upon the Shaper by the entity from the worm universe.

<QUERY. EXCITEMENT. GRATITUDE.>

'You are welcome.'

I don't know why my intuition let the shard free from its restriction. My flame also immediately creates a bond between Amy and I. To my surprise, Amy flame type is Rain instead of Sun-like I predicted. Not only that, if my intuition is right, but the Rain flame inside Amy also makes the shard given by Scion will never use conflict to gather data around it. The shard, who usually uses conflict to increase its power instead will grow with its host aging. The older the host then the shard will have more power than before until it reaches the maximum capacity of information it can take.

The more data the shard can get, the more powerful it will be, or so I read. My flame also connects the life force of the shard into Amy. If Amy is dead, then the shard will also be dead but not the other way around. If the shard is dead, Amy will still be alive. However, even though the Shaper connection to the warrior entity (Scion) has been cut off by my summoning, it will not die, damaged and corrupt like the shard from the Thinker entity (Eden).

I also doubt that Scion can come into this universe. There is only one reason that I can think of the Great Red. I don't know if the warrior entity can beat Great Red in a fight, especially with his traveling partner, and mate is dead. Not only that, but I also didn't know if another entity in this universe is more powerful than the Great Red. For example, the Lovecraft Outer Gods. I hope it was not the case. If it was the case…

*Shudder*

Or the Chaos Gods from the Warhammer series…. The more I think about it, the more f*ck up my situation is. What if this world has a crossover with Lovecraft mythos? What if this world crossover with the Warhammer series?

"Master? Are you okay? You look pale."

I shake my head and look at Medea then says.

"I'm okay. Just thinking about something disturbing."

I can see Medea knows that I lie or at least not speak the truth, but she decides to trust my word.

"Medea, can you help me take Amy to her room? Also, can you change her clothes for me?"

"Of course, Master."

I give her a smile before walking toward my office to finish the paperwork my people give me.

How come I become the owner of a brothel without me knowing it?

*Amy Claire Dallon POV*

*Gasp*

Where am I?

Leviathan is coming to Brockton Bay is the last thing I remember. It was so sudden that Leviathan appeared in front of the hospital. It happens so fast I can't even react. The next thing I know is my power telling me that I got poisoned by an unknown means before I went unconscious from blood loss as I have a small hole in my stomach. I get it from a piece of metal from the sea and get carried away by the Leviathan Tidal wave.

I look around and see that I'm inside a massive room filled with many electronics from TV to computer. I look at my stomach that has already been healed by someone. As I touch my stomach, my power supplies all the information about how it was healed.

The person heals me by increasing my cell regeneration rate by a thousand percent of its normal capacity to regenerate the body. Not only that, but the person also stops the flow of the poison inside my body before destroying it quickly. The person also cleared the master effect Vicky gave to me from my brain. Now I can think clearly, and my power supplies me with ideas that I didn't get from before.

How? Usually, my power restricts me from healing my own body. Still, this time, I can heal my own body (If my ability saying is correct), and not only that, I also can modify my body to make it more durable and suitable for combat.

"Hello. It's good you are awake."

I look at the door and see a man wearing a black suit walk inside my room with a tray of tea and cookies. Following him from behind are two beautiful women, a young woman, and a teenage boy. The first woman walks inside the room wearing a purple dress, and she has blueish purple hair. What makes her unique is her pointy ear. Maybe a case 53, maybe?

The second woman was wearing a skin-tight suit with a blue and red color theme. She has blonde hair.

The young woman has silver-blonde hair and red eyes. Next to her is a teenage boy with messy black hair and green eyes.

"Let me introduce myself. My name is Lexian Vongola. Nice to meet you."
