Buds of love

When Ella reached home, she ran off straight to the room, ignoring her younger brother who was coming down the stairs.

Having experienced her own little K-drama scene with Lou made her squeal in excitement as soon as she was alone in her room.

Knock-knock-

"Ella, my baby... what happened? Why are you screaming?" Mrs Lucy, who's Ella's mother, asked in concern as she knocks at the door.

Ella made up a lie quickly, not to worry her mother. "Nothing happened Mom. I just knock my foot on the table."

Jonas, Ella's younger brother, chimps in between, "Mom, you know how sister is. Don't worry about her."

When Ella heard her younger brother's sentence, she was almost tempted to open the door and give him a nice beating. However, she decided not to spoil her mood and decided to listen to a cute playlist song.

Mrs Lucy went back to the kitchen to prepare dinner, which she left halfway through, after making sure everything was fine.

While Jonas stood outside his sister's room and felt that something was not okay. His sister would usually come to pick a fight with him, but she did not even pay heed, even while he was coming down the stairs before.

The entire night, Ella had a hard time falling asleep because every time she closes her eyes, her mind will keep on replaying the scene where Lou stares right into her eyes with sparkling eyes and saying BUT I MISS YOU. Unable to be content with this new feeling, she would kick on her blanket sporadically.

Ella woke up late the next morning, so she rushes to take a quick shower. Mrs Lucy comes up to her room with breakfast and feeds her as she changes into her uniform. Having just one or two bites of cereal, she runs off to her school-leaving her hair open in the air.

By the time Ella reach school, the bell had already rung, so she sped off to her classroom. Luckily, the teacher was yet to arrive, so she quickly took her seat and catch up on her breath. Having to rush to school, completely made her forget about Lou, who was staring at her from behind.

Sara look at Ella and asked her why she was late for school today, usually, she would arrive on time or even earlier than her.

Ella was still catching on her breath, so Sara offers water to her out of kindness. She thanked Sara and took the bottle, but had trouble opening the cap no matter she hard she tries.

Lou was paying his entire attention to Ella the whole time, so when he saw that she was facing trouble opening the bottle cap. He offers to help her immediately, "Let me do it for you."

He opens the bottle cap in a go and passes it back to Ella.

Ella thanked him and gave back the bottle to Sara after drinking. Now that she could finally breathe calmly, she touches her long, messy hair and ties it into a bun.

Lou saw a flower petal in her hair near the neckline, so he reach out to take off without much thinking. However, while doing so, his finger made slight contact with her exposed neck and made her flinched at his touch. So he quickly retracted his hands and apologized to her.
