Lai Jiayi stared at the boxes for a second before ignoring it.
'Maybe someone left the boxes outside and forgot to take it.'
Lai Jiayi resumed opening the door, but to her surprise, the door won't open.
'Hm?? Is this the wrong key? But there's only one key!'
Lai Jiayi tried a few times to spin the key, but unfortunately, the door won't budge. She even realized that the key didn't match the keyhole on the door.
"What's going on??" Lai Jiayi couldn't help but mutter.
'I'm sure this is the right key to my house. There's no mistaking it, so why...the key won't match?'
'Did someone change the keyhole? So fast? I'm only gone for an hour or so!'
Just as Lai Jiayi was trying to open the door forcefully, the voice of a middle-aged woman suddenly sounded behind her.
