Seeing the girl became anxious, the duck quickly explained to avoid misunderstanding.

"Quack, no, no. I will only erase your memory about this game once you finish the game, quack!"

"Why do you have to erase my memory of this game? Is this game...a secret?" The girl couldn't help but think so.

'I think...only a selected few can play the game and since the prize was great...surely the game company wants to hide it from society.'

'It means the company's purpose in making the game isn't to make money!'

Getting the question, the AI hurriedly told what could be said.

"That's right, quack. This game is a secret that no one should know, quack."

The mark also allowed every AI assigned to players to erase the player's memories conveniently. Of course, only memories related to the game would be erased.

'The game is really...mysterious!'

Lai Jiayi glanced at the AI with doubt.

Ignoring Lai Jiayi's doubtful gaze on him, The AI quickly added more information.

"Oh right, quack, your memory about the capture target won't be erased if you win, so...don't worry about it, quack."

He flashed a sheepish smile wanting to reassure the girl, yet Lai Jiayi couldn't really catch the meaning behind it.

'The captured target will be 2-dimensional men, so why should I fuss over forgetting them or not?'

"Okay, I understand. So...when will we start the game?" she asked, not caring about the erasing memories part.

Seeing Lai Jiayi didn't mind it much, the AI secretly sighed in relief. He then ordered. "Okay, quack, let's begin. Open the game application once more, quack."

Lai Jiayi immediately obeyed the instruction and clicked the game application.

Once it's open, a huge 'Get His Love' title appears on her phone screen with a shock pink color as the background.

It's hurting Lai Jiayi's eyes, yet she chose to ignore it.

The game started with an opening just like any other dating sim game.

The opening was like an anime trailer. Of course, there would be background music and a few main capture targets introduced. As expected, all of them were in 2D art.

Lai Jiayi was a bit glad that the men's photos weren't in 3D art as realistic men photos only made her uncomfortable.

'2D is the best!'

Thirty seconds after the trailer ended, Lai Jiayi was brought to the home screen of the game. There, she saw her profile status, along with a few other options.

"Shop...missions...jobs?" Lai Jiayi mumbled, seeing three sections side by side from left to right. These options were caged in a pink square shape.

Underneath these options, there were also another few circle-shaped options.

There were 'targets' on the left and 'Players' on the right. At the very bottom of the game's home screen, one could catch a glimpse of an 'Affection meter' symbol or often called a 'barometer'.

These features weren't that new for Lai Jiayi, who had played this kind of game before. It turned out that the game design was no different from the usual dating sim game.

After Lai Jiayi scanned through the game's home screen, she turned her head toward the AI.

"Okay, I opened the game, so what should I do now?"

If this were a usual dating sim game, she would click the 'target' option to choose her first target.

Usually, there would be several men as the capture targets.

If the player clicked on their profile, the player would be able to see these men's short introduction to assist them in choosing which target they liked.

After all, there were many types of men—a cute one, cold, playboy, arrogant, calm, etc.

Each of the capture targets had its distinct feature that matched each player's preference.

The AI immediately guided Lai Jiayi to the first step of playing the game.

"Click the target option, quack! First, we choose the target we need to conquer, quack."

'Ah, it's like the usual otome game.'

Feeling relaxed, Lai Jiayi immediately followed the guide.

She pressed the 'target' option, and a second after, five colorful boxes appeared with a picture of several handsome men. Of course, the images were all in 2D.

"So, these are the targets…" Lai Jiayi blinked her eyes several times to admire the art. She disliked real-life men, but 2D men were undoubtedly handsome.

Let's see..there were five men here. The first one had a red background color, so this must be the arrogant type. Nope. Not her type.

Next! Hmm, this man had an orange background.

Orange...energetic type? His haircut and his clothes looked like a cheerful type compared to the reddish guy in idol uniform. This orange-ish guy looked like an athlete.

'Not my type though...okay next next...is...oh, green!'

The next man had a green background color, and his vibe was really calming. He looked mature in his formal futuristic suit. The job description said he's a politician.

'How dreamy! This is my type of man, ah. If only I'm not afraid of men, I will pick this guy even in real life.'

He's handsome…as hell.

Lai Jiayi was smitten with the green guy that she forgot to check the last guy, the one with a blue background.

Impatient, she immediately asked, "So...how, do I choose?"

'Can I immediately choose whoever I want, or the game will choose for me?'
