Lai Jiayi waited for Zhao Yun's response, and to her surprise, the young man didn't demand anything weird.
He just waved his hand, signaling the girl to crouch. "Miss witch, I wanna ask something to you!" He whispered to Lai Jiayi's ear.
Bewildered, Lai Jiayi only nodded while crouching. "Yes, what is it?"
Now her height was almost equal to Zhao Yun, only a bit taller.
The girl waited patiently until Zhao Yun tip-toed. The boy covered his mouth with his left palm and murmured,
"That...what magic trick did you do back then?"
The boy immediately stepped back and stared straight to Lai Jiayi's eyes. His eyes were sparkling in curiosity, didn't look like someone who had just given up on life.
Lai Jiayi was a bit shaken.
'I thought Zhao Yun is a gloomy boy, but it turns out...toward something he likes, he looks so enthusiastic…'
