"Another One"

Lai Jiayi gripped her phone tighter as she looked down at her phone. 

The girl saw the player section's light flickered a few times. Lai Jiayi didn't have any choice. 

She wanted to know about this player. Thus, she hurriedly clicked the player section and saw the box at the very left of the row lit up in silver light. 

A picture of a girl, just like the one in front of her appeared on the silver box. 

'!! What the fck?? This random customer is a player?? Seriously? It's not a joke??' 

Lai Jiayi sighed for a while, unable to believe this perfect coincidence. She calmed herself before clicking on the box to see more information about the person. 

'I'm curious! How come a random customer I met turned out to be a player?' 

Once Lai Jiayi clicked on the box, a mini-biodata appeared on her phone. 

Name: Chu Feng 

Age: 18 

Height: 163 cm 

In-game-job: Driver 

Like: fighting, car or motor races 

Dislike: vegetable, weak people

Title: Wild street kid 

Love barometer: ?? 

'...she is two years younger....and her job is a driver??' 

Lai Jiayi felt like fainting. 

'What the hell Zhao Yang is thinking about? He accepted an 18 years old girl working as his driver?! Sure it's a legal age to drive but…' 

Lai Jiayi glanced at Chu Feng, 

'She's too young!' 

Lai Jiayi kneaded her temple after reading the biodata. 

[Yaya, Chu Feng's title is a wild street kid.] 

[Yes, quack. This girl must be used to the harsh life out there, poor her, quack.] 

[Maybe she's an orphan– thus becomes a street kid? But this kind of shady and 'lowly' background…] 

'Zhao Yang accepted her?' 

Lai Jiayi felt like there's something amiss here. 

[Yaya...there's no way someone as honorable as Zhao Yang will accept a street kid as his personal driver, right?] 

[Mn, quack.] Yaya nodded in agreement. 

[Like he's literally leaving his whole life in this girl's hand!] 

[There must be a reason behind this job distribution.] Lai Jiayi suddenly mulled. 

'It must be connected to Zhao Yang's past for him to accept such a young girl, a stray street kid on top of that to be his personal driver…' 

Lai Jiayi glanced at Chu Feng. 

'Suspicious. What is Zhao Yang's past for him to be so generous even to accept such a girl??' 

Lai Jiayi had just finished reading the biodata when the girl called her in a rather crude tone, "Yoo pretty big sis! I wanna rent the compy for an hour, " 

Her deep, hoarse voice added with her word lexicon...was kinda unusual but common for street kids. 

Chu Feng's voice made Lai Jiayi flinch for a bit before calming down. 

"Sure, please choose whichever computer you want. It will be this much." Lai Jiayi feigned a smile as she showed Chu Feng the bill. 

'This girl pretended as if she didn't know that we are fellow players, so I should pretend too!' 

"Okah!" Chu Feng answered casually as she took off her hat. 

Her wavy underneath was in a mess but what caught Lai Jiayi's attention was the small brown porcupine hiding underneath the hat. 

The porcupine suddenly coughed, and money came out from its mouth. 

'...what the? Isn't that porcupine the AI guide for this girl? How the hell it became a convenient piggy– no. Porcupine bank??' 

Lai Jiayi felt that this girl was super strange, but she didn't show it on her face. 

Lai Jiayi immediately received the money and let Chu Feng choose any computer she wanted to choose. 

'Yeah, just play and don't make a ruckus here!' 

Thankfully Chu Feng wasn't as bad as Lai Jiayi thought. The girl hurriedly chose a computer and stayed there, focusing on her computer game. 

She indeed made a lot of loud noises as she played, but other than that, she didn't make any trouble, such as threatening other customers or something. 

"Fuh...I was shocked, " Lai Jiayi whispered to Yaya once she settled on this matter. 

"I didn't think I would meet a fellow player here, you know…" she added. 

"Yeah, quack. Dunno, if you are lucky or not, quack!" 

"That girl also has a higher-level job compared to me…" Lai Jiayi stretched her legs. 

"A driver is a good job even though not as good as a housemaid or a neighbor, right?" 

"Right, quack." 

'After all, maybe they can interact inside the car? Who knows.' 

"But, quack...isn't this a blessing in disguise– " Yaya suddenly sensed another customer come to their place. 

'! Another one?' 

"Hey, there's another customer, quack!" Yaya somehow had a bad feeling when he sensed another customer come. 

'If this one turned out to be another player, I will hide for a week.' 

"Calm down. Let me welcome this customer." Lai Jiayi kept her calm as she stood up. 

This one should be a regular customer, but once again, she was stunned by the customer's appearance. 

The customer was a girl with a medium hair-length touching her back. Her hair was eye-catching as it had a somehow striking azure blue color like the color of a Pepsi can. 

'Beautiful….' 

Moreover, the hair glowed beautifully under the sunlight. 

'What smooth, straight hair…' 

Lai Jiayi was mesmerized for a second. The girl was also pretty,  just like the street kid before. 

"Her eyes are like yours, quack!" Yaya suddenly whispered, sounding what Lai Jiayi thought. 

"It's different...my eyes have the color of honey, a bit darker with a hint of brown." Lai Jiayi shook her head, "This girl's eyes are golden and not as dark as mine." 

Lai Jiayi squinted her eyes, watching the customer walk slowly toward her. 

'Somehow, this girl has a dangerous aura around her looking like a panther ready to attack anyone….' 

The thought suddenly sent a shiver down her spine. 

'This girl...is dangerous!'
