Thomas and Ashton’s conversation

"Does changing clothes take this long?" Thomas grumbled.

He had been waiting for Ashton for a long time now. Not only did his son come to work later than his usual time, but Ashton also took his time changing his dirty clothes.

Even the pot of tea that had been served for him had turned ice cold.

Thomas stood up from the sofa and walked behind Ashton's desk where the big window overlooking the busy street was.

Taking in the scenery of the concrete jungle, and letting the morning sun fall on his skin, Thomas smiled in satisfaction. He was proud of Ashton and his achievement.

Thomas turned around after he had enough of the prickling sensation of the sun. His eyes caught on an electronic picture frame on Ashton's desk.

The picture frame changed into another picture every minute. What currently pulled Thomas towards the frame was a picture of a lady who was feeding farmed animals.
