"She has children? And… they not yours?" Thomas asked for surety.
Ashton pursed his lips and sighed, "Yes. She has kids, and they are not mine. Would you still be fine if I got together with someone like that?"
Thomas took some time to respond to his son's query. He smiled at Ashton, "I can tell that you like her a lot. Well, Ashton.. do what your heart tells you. If you think she's the one for you. Why not? As long as both respect each other and can make each other happy, you shouldn't mind much about everyone else's opinion. What matters is your own happiness.
