6 Money First Before Family.

Anna was looking outside the window of the cab. It's been long since she visited the town occupied by luxurious houses. Mr. Shen's house happened to be among them. She got to her destination, came down from the cab and paid for her transport bills.

Now she was standing opposite the tall walls of the Shen's mansion. "That's it Anna, you need to be brave." She said confidently to herself. She opened the big gate of the mansion and was welcomed by the arena of the well designed garden. She walked past the small tiled road of the border plant for the garden. It's been ages.

"Welcome Young Miss." Madam Fu Yi caught sight of her and went straight to her direction to welcome Young Miss Shen. The old woman smiled at Anna and led her to the main sitting room where the Shen's gathered.

Mr. Shen gritted his teeth when he saw Anna,he was stunned and stood up from his sit. Anna hasn't changed a bit. "Anna Shen,what are you doing here?"

"This is my father's house so don't ask me that!" She sat on the elegant void couch. This version of Anna seemed a bit courageous.

"Your father's house; which is my house." Mr. Shen clenched his fist. Anna ignored him as if she didn't heard what he said. " You're such an ill-mannered child. You mother didn't train you to become a proper lady." Mr. Shen was furious.

Anna pointed her finger at her father on hearing him saying trash about her mother. "Don't you dare bring my mother into this, Mr. Shen or should I say father?" She nonchalantly spoke after calming herself down. " I'm here for a purpose." She crossed her leg looking like a mini boss.

"Miss Shen, don't you realize you're speaking to your father." Madam Yu Han butted in.

"Oh, look who finally showed up." Anna raised a brow while turning to Madam Yu Han's direction. "If not for the selfish golddigger, Madam Yu Han." Anna smirked folding her arm across her flat chest. She caught Madam Yu Han off guard. The woman was tongue tied.

"Anna...don't make a scene here." Mr. Shen stressed out.

"Like I said Mr. Shen,I came here for a purpose." Anna smirked.

"What's it?" Mr. Shen exaggerated.

"After you abandoned I and my mother for these Han's, mother passed away and I haven't paid her hospital bills until now. I trained myself in college and I want all the money. There's nothing too big for the almighty Mr. Shen." Anna grinned, although she lied about not paying for her mother's hospital bills. She worked hard in aunt Pei Wei's bakery and paid the bills from the money she earned. This version of Anna is cunning.

"How much is all that?" Mr. Shen said with a frown plastered on his face. He was a greedy man and don't joke with his money. Money first before family,that was his believe.

"Just three million yuan" Anna grinned sheepishly. Making Zi Han to stand up in annoyance. Mr. Shen jaw dropped on hearing what his daughter said.

"Miss Shen,where do you expect Uncle Shen to get that huge amount of money from?" Young Zi Han folds her arm giving Anna a disgusting look.

"She wasn't informed that the Shen's Holdings went bankrupt." Xiang Han puffed and left the sitting room. Zi Han and Xiang Han are twins. They're of opposite gender.

"Your uncle Shen didn't bother to know if his legitimate family were alive or not!" Anna backfired.

"Anna...Calm down." Mr. Shen faked a smile.

" I heard from a reliable source that you have shared your property already. I can't believe you,are you in a haste to die?" Anna retorted letting out a deep sigh of relief. On hearing what Anna said, Madam Fu Yi thanked her stars that Anna did not reveal her reliable source to Mr. Shen.

"Miss Shen,that's too much! Have pity on your father." Madam Yu Han pleaded on her husband's behalf with hate boldly written on her face. Anna won't spare him because he didn't spare her and her deceased mother.

"Did he have pity on me, not to talk more of his beloved wife that he abandoned." She said furiously as if Hell was about to break loose.

"I know I made a mistake,but what you're asking for is too much. Anna, I've been through alot lately." Mr. Shen narrowed his eyes, speaking so calmly wanting Anna to believe his every word. Yes! The Shen's Holdings went bankrupt due to the poor management it had.

"I'll be back to take everything I asked for in three days time." She stormed out of the sitting room and left. While she was leaving, her eyes met the swing her mother made for her, it was a bit old and rusty. She began to remember when her mother used to push her on the swing.

It was a blissful moment. On the top of the swing was a sunflower, it used to be her mother's favorite. She picked up the flower and inhaled the scent. How she missed her mother.

Meanwhile Mr. Shen suddenly started regretting his actions. He sat worriedly on the couch looking up to the mirror placed on the ceiling. "Look at what I've brought upon my self. My dearest Anna is now against me."

"She's so bold and fierce, what a lass!" Madam Yu Han frowned at her reflection on the mirror.

"She took over her mother's boldness, fierce as a furnace of fire." He smiled while he remembered his late wife. He could see his late wife's reflection on the mirror although she's already deceased.

He tried to touch her reflection but it was like it was sending him a message and it disappeared. "I regret my past mistakes now. I missed Yue Shen!" He mentioned his deceased wife name with a lovely tone and his lips curved into a slight smile making Madam Yu Han to fizzle out in anger and left his presence angrily.

Mr. Shen regretted ever making mention of the word 'Money first before family.' He wished he could apologize to Anna. It should be 'Family before Money' in that case it was the other way round.
