67 Strolling in Capetown

Jacob felt slightly embarrassed when the host called him on the stage to accept the award.

He never liked crowded places like this, even if it meant honoring him. Moreover, he didn't expect that his art club people will send this painting of his among all the paintings he painted till now.

Since he is one of the nominees for the award, Jacob sat in front of the podium, whereas his family on the first floor.

It felt more than half a day before Jacob stood up from his chair and walked slowly towards the podium.

He casually looked at the guests and felt a little nervous. 'Who will not feel nervous, looking at a crowd like this clapping for you, and I don't know what to speak.'

Even though the podium is near to him, Jacob felt it's very far while walking. When he got on the Dias, everyone stopped clapping, which made him hear clearly Carla's whistle.
