34 Customer reaction

The next day, early in the morning, Aurus got up and when he went to the kitchen, he was happy to see that the food was already ready and could be eaten at any time. Saying hello to the two fairies and sitting down, he took a fork and ate the eggs the fairies had prepared.

'Yup, I'm not cooking ever again. Whatever I made to eat in the past was trash. I can't believe I actually called what I did cooking.'

Aurus's eyes while eating lit up and he continued to wolf down on the food. He didn't forget to praise the two little fairies who were right next to him. He was honestly glad he had invited these two to come and work for him back in the slave shop. If he hadn't asked what their life goals were, he would have missed the two of them and he would still be eating his own disgusting cooking.

Yes, disgusting. He noticed it after eating the fairies food, he didn't know how to cook.

"Good morning, sir!"

As Aurus was eating, the six new employees walked in the kitchen and sat down respectively. Luckily, the table was quite big and there were enough chairs for everyone.

They all sat down and as they took the food, their eyes, just like Aurus' lit up and they looked at the two fairies in disbelief.

The two fairies, Pel and Tel were obviously happy. Pel was the female fairy while Tel was the male one. They were as big as a human palm but with their magic, they could easily take care of cooking and cleaning which they seemed to love a lot. They had a small but clear voice which could lit up the day of anyone who listened to them. Additionally, Pel wore a small white dress that mixed perfectly with her waist-long black hair and her slightly golden skin.

Tel on the other hand was wearing a black pants and a black t-shirt. Honestly, Aurus thought it looked a little odd to wear this at their height but he figured he would get used to it. At the same time, he couldn't actually imagine what they could wear which wouldn't seem odd. His skin was the same colour as Pel and his hair and eyes were completely black. However, he kept his hair at ear length.

All this time, Zaya was standing on the edge of the table right next to Aurus and taking some of his food from time to time. It seemed that while she didn't exactly like Aurus's food, she completely loved the food made by the two fairies.

The nine of them and Zaya ate as the two fairies joined them and a few minutes later as everyone was just talking and praising the food, Laia walked down from her room fully prepared to go to school.

Seeing everyone eat the food on the table and receiving a draft of the great scent of the food, she immediately came to the table and Aurus offered his seat to her while he went to get another chair for himself.

Finishing the breakfast half an hour later and leaving everything to the two fairies who used magic to move the dishes to the sink, the other nine went down the stairs. Aurus, Laia, Zaya, two female elves, a male elf, a human woman, a woman and a man beastman.

The three elves had green hair and silver-coloured eyes. They had a slim body and were a little taller than Aurus. Seeing the muscles in the arms of the male elf, he could imagine how flexible and strong he was. The two other elves were also slim however, he could barely see any muscles but by their movements, he knew they had to be as strong and flexible as the man. The two women kept their green hair at their waist just like Pel and the man kept his at shoulder length.

The human was basically just like everyone else but she had more forms compared to the elves and she was still average. She had black-brown hair and blue eyes. A little smaller than Aurus and she seemed to always have a smile on her face. Well, he couldn't really blame her as she was previously a slave. He had to say she was quite pretty but she was about twenty-five to twenty-seven years old which was nine years older than Aurus.

The two beastmans were of the Fox tribe, the man was quite muscular and just like the female, he had tanned skin. Standing tall with almost two heads higher than Aurus, he had foxes hair on the top of his head and an orange tail sticking from above his ass. His tail could be seen if he lifted his shirt a little bit.

The female in her side had tanned skin but wasn't muscular and seemed more like a noble lady. She had brown eyes and long hair which went to her shoulders. She had two small fox ears on the top of her head and nine tails sticking out from behind her. Aurus had honestly been shocked when he had seen the nine-tails. In some novels he had read in the past, beastman's who had nine-tails were part of the nobility and indeed she was after he asked her. She was quite surprised that he could tell and after having explained that he had read it somewhere, she laughed lightly.

"Nine-tails are not from nobility but every female of the Fox tribe possesses nine tails. I am indeed from the nobility but my tails are completely regular." She had laughed while explaining while the man had given a slight smile.

It seemed that the slave trader hadn't been aware that she was nobility or he would have sold her at an extremely higher price and a lot of nobles would have bid to buy her even if she was a danger. After all, it wasn't every day that a noble could 'taste' a beastman noble, especially a beauty like her.

With the time going by quite fast, Laia went to school and Aurus gave some food to Zaya for the day and then, he sat down behind the counter and he was quite interested in seeing how people would react to the six new employees.

While the human would be fine and the elves as well as they were only more beautiful and had their ears shaped a little bit differently, what he was wondering about would be the beastman.

For the elves, at most, they would receive invitations to date or work with them as they were just that beautiful. They would easily rank in the top in the entire empire, that was how great the physique of elves was.

As for the beastman, they had either a tail or nine tails depending on the gender and two animal ears on top of their head. He had already prepared the excuse that he had found them in the wild, hurt and they had lost their memories. This excuse was totally lame and way too obvious. However, at the same time, people didn't know the entire world and this tribe existing could very well be normal. After all, they never met everyone and never went everywhere they couldn't tell whether there was a tribe like them in this world or not.

At most, in Aurus's opinion, they would be stared at for a while and it would be the talk of the nobles, businessmen and Hunters for a while but it would also increase the popularity of the shop and make the shop known throughout the entire city. It was a kind of advertising.

As the time passed slowly, Aurus was lost in his thoughts while the other employees talked with each other and showed some nervous expressions as they helped each other in testing whether they knew the right name and description of the resource. They had the information in their minds thanks to the system and would be able to 'read' the description but what they wanted was more than that and understand the resources properly. Aurus could only sigh thinking: 'What great and interested employees. Yeah, I'm way too lazy, that will have to change… In the future."

Releasing a small yawn, he looked at the time and got up.

The six, seeing them get up, all showed a nervous expression before separating from their small group and going in front of two elements each. They would be working with two different elements and help the customers looking at those. If there were no customers looking at their elements, they had permission to go and help the others if they had too many customers. Of course, the nature element wasn't used greatly by low-level contracted beasts which made the one working on this element freer than the rest. That person would be able to help others.

Opening the door of the shop, Aurus looked outside and there was a long queue of people. Easily over forty people were waiting in line and compared to the previous day, there didn't seem to be any young masters which relieved him greatly. He would tell the truth, he didn't like them.

After opening the door and walking back to his seat behind the counter to look at the shop, the customers started to enter.

However, they merely started to enter and most of them stopped moving looking at the six employees in the shop in amazement. The human was prettier than average but what really shocked them was the beauty of the elves and the differences between the two demi-humans.

Aurus smiled slightly thinking about what was to come.

As more people started to enter, they pushed those in front who were blocking the entrance. However, just like the others, they stayed stunned at the door. And finally, it happened, the critical hit was given.

"Welcome, customers!"
