35 A week

The six of them lowered the heads slightly while saying their welcome and they got back straight, looking at the customers.

"What's wrong? Why aren't you entering the shop?" The few customers in the back of the crowd shouted as they wanted to enter but the crowd didn't let them.

"Incredible! I have never seen such beautiful people!" Obviously, the man who was shouting was looking at the two female elves while giving quick glances to the man.

With the others nodding in agreement, they finally started to enter the shop but their eyes never left the new employees of the shop.

As more and more customers entered, Aurus noticed the anxiety in the face of his new employees, especially the two demi-humans who because of their distinct features were being stared at. However, people were only interested and curious and none of them did anything against the two. After all, they all knew in their hearts that since the owner of the store could kick out the nobles, he could also kick them out easily. At that time, it would be their loss.

However, while they were looking at them, they started to look for their necessary resources. As for the six new employees, despite their nervousness, they didn't dare ignore the customers and came closer to them to offer their services.

As everything was doing great and they were starting to get more and more comfortable with their work, Aurus noticed that Siraye, one of the two female elves and the one which worked in the elements of nature and light, didn't have any customers. Well, it was obvious that those two elements were relatively rare, so she had a lot of time to look around at the customers.

However, amongst the customers who had come that morning, one was a family of three. The two parents were Hunters and they had a small daughter of around five years old.

While her parents were looking at the resources, she noticed that Siraye was alone next to her display cases and she decided to go and talk to her as she seemed lonely.

"Hello, miss! My name is Ena, what is your name?" The little girl looked innocently at Siraye who was surprised to have someone come to talk with her.

The previous day, Aurus had basically explained the way the cultivation worked in this world and she knew that the little girl couldn't have started to cultivate yet as her body wasn't fully developed.

However, knowing she had nothing else to do, and seeing the cute little girl, she couldn't help smiling and answering her.

"Hi Ena, my name is Siraye! Did you come here alone?" She got down to be eye to eye with the little girl as she asked her question.

"No, my parents are there." She answered while pointing to her parents who were looking at the ice element resources. "Big sister, why do you have green hair? And why are your ears sharper than mine?"

As she asked her questions, she had her eyes lit up as she saw something she had never seen before. Siraye smiled lightly while answering her. "I was born with this hair colour just like you were born with a brown colour. As for my ears, it is just a little different, isn't it? Do you think it's pretty?" She didn't answer her second question as she knew that it would be quite hard to explain to a little girl that she was an elf, something humans had no knowledge about.

"Yes, it's pretty! Do you think I could have my ears and my hair like you?" She asked as Siraye could see little stars in her eyes.

"Hum, I think it would be quite hard as I was born like this. However, why do you want to have this hair colour? Don't you think that your brown hair is beautiful?"

As Aurus was listening to the conversation from afar thanks to his enhanced senses, he noticed that a lot of customers were also keeping an eye and listening to their conversation.

He could understand as most of the customers had to be intrigued by the differences between the elves, demi-humans and humans. In Aurus's opinion, they were looking for information. After all, it wasn't every day that they could see such beautiful humans. Because, in their opinion, while they were different they were still humans.

Siraye and Ena continued to talk for about ten minutes. Her parents then came to get her after they had bought and used the resources.

Aurus watched as the two said goodbye to each other and he could tell that this small conversation had managed to relax Siraye a lot.

As such, the day continued and apart from the conversation between the two girls and the stares of the customers which were sometimes a little too intense, nothing much happened on this day.

Aurus continued to stay in the shop and looked over the shop while they worked but apart from some customers who came to make some trouble to try to get some resources for free by using all kinds of excuses. Such excuses were by example that this shop employed weird humans which had bestial traits which made him get sick. There was indeed one customer who entered and gave this excuse to receive free resources as compensation. Of course, Aurus' answer to this was an expulsion of the shop. He didn't have to deal with those guys if he didn't want to.

Another such example was that some customers came into the shop with the only goal of dating his employees. The funniest thing in this situation was that there were over seven guys who went to the three elves and asked them to go out together, to do some fun things.

At that time, when Aurus heard the sentence, he knew something great would come. And indeed, Ruven, the male elf simply answered to the burly man: "I'm a man."

This scared the shit out of the customer which came to ask him out as he looked at Ruven who was looking at him with an expressionless face. It wasn't really his fault either as he was more beautiful than a lot of women.

Except for those situations, nothing much happened. The young nobles never entered the shop again and neither were the men of the nobles. Moreover, Aurus still hadn't received any compensation for what they had done.

A positive thing, in those few days, he had managed to create the second and third floor of the dungeon for the bronze rank stage 2 and 3 respectively.

As for the world of Ernia, he, with the help of Zaya, destroyed another dungeon to get the core and he was now infinitely close to the B rank. He was now known as a great adventurer as it was the first time in history that a new adventurer managed to rank up this fast. Of course, there were a few reasons for this. The first one being that he was already quite strong and got stronger rapidly. The second reason was that he was never tired in this world and thus could always do tasks without any stop. While a lot of adventurers were stunned by him taking tasks without stopping, just like the employees of the guild, they did nothing as it indeed helped the town a lot. Especially since he only took monster subjugation tasks.

Finally, amongst those few days, he had managed to upgrade his mana manipulation and sword mastery to SSS rank which was supposedly the highest rank they could make their skills. However, while people took all their life to increase their skill rank, he took only less than two weeks.

And considering that such a sword mastery was actually weak in this world, Aurus more or less understood that both worlds weren't as strong as each other and that a low-level Hunter in the world of Arashina was a top-grade adventurer in the world of Ernia.

As for his shadow step skill, it had ranked up to S rank just like his identification skill. And finally, his map skill ranked up to C rank.

Aurus didn't doubt that there was a way to rank up the skill again after SSS rank and most likely change it to another skill as he could still work on it and get stronger with the skill.

He also bought a few strong skills which cost a fortune in the adventurers guild such as bullet time (F rank) which allowed him to be in slow motion for a certain amount of time. It was an active skill but took a lot of stamina which would allow him to reverse a battle around.

There was also the skill domain (F rank) which allowed him to sense everything within a certain radius. It was said that as long as the skill ranked up, he would be able to attack anywhere within the radius of his own domain. This skill was quite useful. However, it alone cost three hundred gold coins and it was apparently hard to rank up the skill.

Well, while they thought it was hard to rank up the skill, he took two days to rank it up to D rank.
