Why is Maria Hill on television?

Today I went to Canada to get another priced car into my collection. It was one of only three 1970 Porsche 917 that were adapted to be used on official roads. Meaning they were legal.

The auction will be in Vancouver the day after tomorrow but I am currently stuck in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada.

Why? I was flying from LA to Vancouver with my plane but an unexpected snowstorm came into being. We couldn't continue to fly towards Vancouver and needed to land in this city of about 100,000 people. 

Why can't the earth just be flat? Then we could have just flown towards Vancouver in a straight line and wouldn't need to land in another city.

Thinking of that I went towards the hotel room I booked to stay over the night.

I turned around the channels and stopped on one particular one. It was Channel 22.

I saw Mariah Hill announcing the situation of the current snowstorm on the news.

I didn't care about that, but the last sentence she said picked up my interest.

"This was Robin Scherbatsky telling you about the current situation in Red Deer", It was actually Robin Scherbatsky from How I Met Your Mother.

It was probably still some time before the start of the show as Robin was reporting in Canada, having not even moved towards the United States.

After that, I searched for the information on all the HIMYM characters and found the information on every one of them.

Robin, I knew what she did.

Ted, he was 22 years old this year. He began working as an architect the year before.

Marshall, he was 22 years old this year and was continuing his effort to be a lawyer.

Lily, she was also 22 years old this year and started working as a kindergarten teacher a year ago.

Barney, he was 24 years old this year and the most interesting one. He was actually working at a brokerage company. Even a pretty big one. 

I knew he would be my anchor point to get to know the cast of How I Met Your Mother in the future.

After buying the Porsche I flew towards New York. My goal? Of course, the company where Barney Stinson worked at.

I slept all the way till the plane landed.

After arriving in New York I immediately drove towards the brokerage company. It was called Pinnacle Brokers.

I called the bureau the day before and officially made a meeting with Barney Stinson under the pseudonym ACE.

I walked into the lobby and asked the secretary about Barney. She told me his office and I made my way there.

I walked into the office and saw Barney with his usual suit on.

"Hi, you must be ACE. We already talked for quite a while on the phone", Barney said giving me a firm handshake.

"It was nice speaking to you on the phone, but now I would like to hear you in person. Could you too please close off the windows and the door?", I asked him.

"Of course Mr. ACE", Barney said.

After that followed a talk about all the things of the contract that I would sign if I let Barney be my broker.

If I worried that Barney wasn't a good broker? I had no worries. He never lacked money and seemed to be pretty high up in his company at a young age.

In the end we agreed on a 10.5% commission. That was pretty low as it would usually range between 10% and 20%. 

Part of the factor was that Barney was still new at the job and another factor was that my song "All of Me" recently started to hugely blow up on YouTube.

"I would recommend an Extended Play album with 4 to 6 songs around your song "All of Me" to start of your career. The other songs will probably catch up on the popularity of "All of Me" if they aren't too bad and will start to gain popularity. With decent marketing that could mean huge sales", Barney said signalizing money with his fingers.

"The songs should preferably be around the theme "All of Me". Best would be a kind of life Album. Starting from being a teenager and ending with death", Barney said envisioning my future.

"That was the same I had thought. I already made all the songs. When should we start recording", I told him a blatant lie. Well. The part where I could instantly record the songs was true.

"We really have one wavelength", Barney said emotionally.

We soon drove towards a recording studio in New York that belonged to Pinnacle Brokers.

"That was perfect! Now let's start with the second song", I heard Barney from outside. I looked over and saw him with his mouth wide open seemingly amazed.

I finished the song and looked outside. I saw Barney not even reacting this time.

This continued with every other song I made.

I still made the song Ophelia by The Lumineers. That song symbolizes the falling in love. The girl in the song, Ophelia was originally in the piece of Hamlet from Shakespeare. She killed herself due to love.

We all already know it.

After that, I walked out of the recording studio and saw Barney trapped in his thoughts.

"Hey Barney? You here? Earth to Barney?", I tried to wake him up.

He praised me the whole time back.

I quickly flew back home and told Haley about my experiences and that I recorded other songs.

She felt huge joy for me.
