Time at the resort

We arrived at the Kahului airport after about 5 hours.

After going out of the plane we were picked up by a special bus from the Airport from which we were driven to the entrance of the airport.

There we just went through everyone as we had already picked up our luggage.

We soon drove to the resort Gloria picked. It was the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea.

After arriving at the resort we all checked in to our rooms.

I noticed that Phil seemed to want to recreate their honeymoon, which they didn't have due to Claire being pregnant with Haley.

I checked into my room. It was a single-bedroom room with a balcony looking at the ocean.

After that I went downstairs, where I met up with the rest. Cam and Mitchell went on some adventures with Lily.

The rest went to the pool to relax.

I put my lounge chair and Haleys one side to side. 

We talked for a while and I quickly started to sleep.

It was very comfortable due to one of Apollo's abilities being a higher Metabolism in the sun. The stronger the sun shone on me the better my Metabolism would get.

I woke up from my nap after only an hour or so and we went to get dinner. It was already 3.30 p.m. 

We went to get dinner together. Jay seemed to want to eat healthy and only ate a salad. I found it pretty weird as he ate an unhealthy burger just after arriving and seemed to want to relax and eat what he liked.

I tried to remember the episode, but I didn't remember if he also ate healthier and why.

Due to my higher Metabolism during the day I also needed more energy intake. I ate many things. Haley was also surprised as I usually ate more, but never this much.

"Why are you eating that much Ethan", Haley asked concerned.

"I don't know. I am just hungry", I replied trying to avoid the question as I had no excuse I could use.

I still had Metabolism before, but it was significantly lower as I first of all didn't lie in the sun and secondly had clothes on. 

Today I only had my shorts on.

After dinner we went into the sky bar of the resort.

We all went to the balcony and looked at the ocean together, while eating chips and drinking some things. 

When we were all finished eating and exhausted we went to sleep.

I quickly started to sleep and woke up the next day after what had felt like a second. It was only 5 a.m., but I couldn't sleep anymore. 

Due to that, I went to get a cold shower to not be as tired. I brushed my teeth and went down to the pool, where I secured the lounge chairs for the whole family by putting down our towels. The pool was still closed and I just laid down on one of the lounge chairs as I enjoyed the sun rising and shining on me.

It didn't take long and I napped again.

I was suddenly woken up by someone waking me up. 

I opened my eyes and saw it was Haley. Beside her were Alex and Luke.

"Ethan please help us. Our parents went into the 18+ pool and left us alone.", Haley said quite angrily thinking of her parents.

"Ok come with me. I have an idea for a place", I told the three of them and stood up. 

I quickly led the three of them down to the beach, where we went down to the small shipyard a few hundred meters beside the resort.

"What are we doing here Ethan?", Alex asked.

"We are going to rent a speed boat and fly over the water", I told her.

"How cool", Luke said.

I quickly went to the salesman and gave him the money for the boat. 

We all stepped into the boat and I started to drive towards the open boat at full speed.

I was pretty skilled in driving the boat due to the Steve McGarrett template I had gotten some time ago.

We drove around for quite a while and even went to a special area that was marked in a book in the boat, where we could see dolphins swimming. We had fun and went to get back to the beach.

After going there we still went swimming in the ocean and playing a few games together. 

Soon it was already evening. We went towards the dining area and looked for the rest. 

Though we only saw Claire and Phil.

"Sorry kids. We hope you had fun", Claire said in an apologetic voice.

The three didn't care. They had a good time.

"Where is the rest?", Alex asked Claire.

"We don't know", Claire said.

"Hola, Hola", suddenly Gloria came over with Manny.

"Hey Gloria, do you know where my dad is?", Claire asked Gloria.

"No. He went down a long time ago", Gloria answered confused.

"I will search for him", Phil said.

"I will help you Phil", I told him.

We stood up and searched around the resort. We parted ways sometime into it to search faster.

After making a lap around the resort I saw Phil and Jay lying in the Hammock.

I quickly came over and helped both of them out. 

After that nothing surprising happened for the rest of the time, besides one thing.

On the last day Phil decided to reenact their marriage as they only married on a random Tuesday in court before.

Everyone was there and we all happily congratulated both of them. Claire seemed to be in a very good mood.

The vacation ended like that and we flew back.

There was quite the wind against us and we had a few minor turbulence. Due to that, it took 6 hours instead of the original 5 to fly back to LA.

After I arrived at home I was still somewhat relieved to be back at the house where I lived. I loved holidays, but I also loved the feeling of being back at home.
