All of me loves all of you Haley

Today marks my second anniversary with Haley.

I wanted to do something special for Haley. 

I started by going towards the Dunphy's house late at night. I purposely ignored all her calls all day. It may sound bad, but I did this to make her nonexistent expectations explode after seeing what I had for her.

I climbed upon the house and knocked on the window of Haley and Alex's room.

I saw a sad and angry Haley open the window.

"Why are you here? Why didn't you answer my calls? Do you even know what date today is?!", she was getting angrier and angrier towards the end.

"Come take this first. Come with me. I have a surprise for you", I told her while giving her roses and giving her my hand to come outwards.

She quickly took my hand and now I and Haley were on the small roof beside Haley and Alex's room.

"Where are you guys going?", Alex asked coming into the room.

"Take this and keep it a secret from your parents", I told her giving her a 100$ bill.

"Deal", she said taking the money as fast as humanly possible.

"Come take my hand and follow me Haley", I told Haley while sliding down little by little by the roof. 

When I was at the end of the roof I put my hand on the edge and let myself fall. 

My hands were stable and I didn't fall to the ground. Instead, I was still about 20cm in the air. I jumped down and landed seamlessly.

"Come Haley. Jump down. It isn't high and I will catch you", I told her.

She did as I told her and jumped.

"Ahhhh", she screamed.

I quickly held her in my arms and put her in a princess hug.

"Creak", I suddenly hear the door open.

~Whooooosh~ 

I didn't think about it and hid beside the bushes with Haley still in my arms.

"What made that sound Phil", I heard Claire scream from inside the house.

"Nothing. Probably nothing. I don't know how you could have heard something in the yard while you were in the kitchen", Phil said seeing nothing.

"That was close", Haley said wiping away the non-existent sweat from her head.

"Whose fault was it", I asked her teasingly.

"Shut up"

After that, we went to my car.

We drove around LA.

I drove around some more sparsely filled roads I knew and it was pretty late.

Due to that we were never in a traffic jam, and drove smoothly.

"Where are we going? And why did you drag me away from home without my parent's permission? You could have just asked. They would have probably agreed", Haley asked me.

"First of all. It's a secret where we are going. You will soon see. About the second point. Did you forget about saying that you love to trick your parents without them knowing?", I asked her with a smile.

"When did I say that?", Haley didn't seem to remember.

"That one time at Betty's house. We celebrated her birthday. Forgot?", I tried to help her remember.

"Ahhhh. I really did say that. I already forgot about it. How cute of you Ethan.", she said suddenly hugging me.

"HALEY I AM STILL DRIVING", I anxiously screamed at her.

"AHHHH", she screamed along suddenly getting scared by my scream. Luckily it didn't take long and she reacted.

That was a typical Haley.

I didn't have bad car driving skills but they weren't at the level of Brian O'Conner who could drive without looking.

After that I looked at my clock and saw it was already 11 p.m.

I smiled and drove towards the place I booked way earlier. 

I booked the whole place to make sure it was only us two.

"Wow. Is that the Alcatraz? I heard you can even see Paris from there, Haley said something obviously exaggerated. Though it was true. The view was great. It was high in the sky and you could overlook the whole of LA. She knew we were driving there as it was the only restaurant nearby.

"Yeah. I booked the whole place for only us. After serving us food all the chefs and waiters will leave"

I parked my car in the underground car park.

"Thank you Ethan", Haley said, hugging me again. This time learning her lesson by hugging me when the car was standing still.

After that, we took the elevator upstairs and soon arrived at the top floor.

We quietly ate and talked together while eating the dishes the waitress left us before leaving.

"Why did you let all the waiters and chefs leave?", Haley asked curiously.

"I don't want them to see what I will be doing in a few minutes", I said with a smile looking at my clock.

"WHAT! I think I am still not ready for th- you know maybe we could still wait. We are both you-", Haley said stutteringly. I knew what she thought and quickly interrupted her.

"It isn't what you think it is", 

Soon the time I was waiting for arrived. 

I went towards Haley, looked into her eyes and told her something that comes from my heart.

"I only have one sentence for you Haley"

"All of me loves all of you Haley"

"I wrote a song for you. I hope you like it", I told her while apologizing to John Legend in my heart.

I walked towards the Steinway piano and started playing the song I knew from my memory.

I could remember every single word and note of this. I could execute it somehow even more perfectly. It was all due to the ability of Apollo. As well as being the god of quite a few things he was also the god of music. Due to that, I had an eidetic memory of all the pieces of music I ever heard and also mastered every instrument as well as the art of singing.

I immediately started to play, wasting no second.

"Wow", that was the only thing Haley could say. She had her mouth wide open and started crying.

I hugged her.

"I love you", Haley told me.

"I love you too", I replied.

That moment seemed to be something special. I don't know why. I couldn't describe it. It was an affirmation of our love. Not the usual I love you.

It came from the heart.

We both knew that.
