Why Is There No Loot?!

Zoom and his party have now entered the dungeon and just as he had expected their first opponent was the rock golem but rather than the 8 meter tall behemoth, what stood before them was a smaller version that stood at 6 meters tall which was still pretty frightening to look at.

The party did the same rotation that Lem had done, but unlike Lem's party who took a whole minute to kill the golem, Zoom's current party only needed twenty seconds to eliminate the golem.

The same situation once again plagued this party similar to Lem's.

Where was the loot?!

This question plagued everyones mined except Zoom's. The players look around as if looking for an answer but no one gave them an answer. But nonetheless they continued clearing the dungeon.

After clearing the golem horde they stumbled upon another horde which was full of skeletons that stood a meter tall, no armour protected their bones while only weilding a short sword which made them easy prey though their numbers were staggering.

Again, the whole party was stunned but they continued.

They cleared a few more mobs before they came across the final boss of the dungeon which was skeleton mage which specialized in necromancy and wind.

A gust of wind threw Zoom and the others off their feet, once they were on their feet the mage has already summoned fifty skeleton soldiers and five skeletons clad in armour weidling a sword and shield, they stood slightly taller at 1.5 meters tall.

The skeletons clad in armour were called skeleton warriors, not only were they clad in armour but they were also fast due to the wind element that their summoner speacialized in giving them a boost in their agility.

The five skeleton warriors went ahead of the skeleton horde to clash with the party.

Clank! Clank! Clank!

The sound of metal clashing reverberated throughout the vast room as the tanks and melees took the brunt of the skeleton warrior's attacks.

"Damn these guys are tough!"

"And they're hella fast too."

Due to the speed of the skeleton warriors they were able to evade flanks and spells that came their way, but that didn't mean they were unscathed.

The skeleton warriors were experienced fighters far above the league of the skeleton soldiers but what they lacked in was what the party of players exceled in, which was teamwork.

They made use of numbers by implementing a 3 versus one tactic against the five warriors while 5 of their other party members staled the skeleton horde. The skeleton mage meanwhile was casually spectating the battlefield while letting it's summoned skeletons fight for it, though it sometimes threw a spell or two to support it's small army.

Even though the skeleton soldiers were great in number, their slow speed would become their eventual downfall as the five players were simply using the kiting method to lure them.

Clank! Clank! Clank!

After a brutal two minutes they finally killed the five skeleton warriors as particles flew into the air leaving no remains and no EXP since they are merely summons.

Now that the skeleton mage had no more skeleton warriors to protect it the party them charged towards the skeleton mage, trying to defeat the skeleton horde would be useless since they were just summons, they had to deal with the source which was the skeleton mage.

The skeleton mage flew up into the air, it grabbed it's bone staff that had a skull on it's tip and pointed it towards the party. A large transparent skull appeared from it which was shot towards them.

"Dodge!" Someone yelled.

The skull attack that the mage casted could ignore defence and would deal true damage which was why someone yelled for them to dodge rather than block it with a tank's shield.

"Ranged damage dealers do your thing!"

Since the skeleton mage was high up in the air it could only be dealt with by using ranged attacks, luckily the party had enough ranged damage dealers to deal with the skeleton mage.

The skeleton mage did it's best to dodge the countless incoming spells and projectiles that were headed it's way, it sometimes summoned a skeleton warrior or two but that was all it could do because of it's mana reserves have long since been depleted due to summoning his army of skeleton soldiers.

After a few more minutes of hard struggle they finally killed the skeleton mage.

[Your Party Has Slain A Level 10 Skeleton Mage!]

[You Have Received 200 EXP!]

[+1 Level 10 Skeleton Mage Beast Core]

[+100 Skeleton Bones]

[+1 Bone Staff]

'Wow...' Zoom was stunned. There was a very small chance for a mob to drop their weapon and Zoom we lucky enough to get the skeleton mage's bone staff.

[Bone Staff (Rare) (Level 10)

Zoom didn't dare take the staff out to look and have a glance at it since he didn't want his party members to become suspicious of him which would become a problem.

After killing the boss of the dungeon you would expect a cheerful and festive athmosphere to envelope the party but no such thing happened. Everyone had confused and perplexed expressions on their faces as the same question plagued everyone's mind except Zoom's, the same question that appeared on their minds when they killed the rock golem.
