Questions That Needed Answers

Outside the dungeon.

"Could the dungeon be glitched?!" One of their party members said.

"How about we go to a different dungeon?"

"Maybe it was just a one time thing, lets raid it again."

While the party was arguing back and forth another party had arrived at the entrance of the dungeon. It was Lem's party who had just arrived.

Lem approached Zoom's party who was still arguing with each other.

"What's wrong." Lem asked.

"The mobs inside the dungeon doesn't drop any loot! Only a handful of them did and even then in total we only have five beast cores in total while we usually get a hundred per dungeon raid."

This caused Lem's eyes to widen in shock. This was the same problem Lem faced just a few hours ago when he was raiding this very dungeon. There were many questions that needed answers.

"That's the same thing that happened when I was raiding this dungeon just a few hours ago!" After taking a break and reporting the problem to his superiors he finally came back to lead a dungeon raid.

But now Lem heard that the same problem that he faced happened to another party, he took a glance at the dungeon gate but nothing seemed off so what could be the problem? Lem thought.

"Maybe this dungeon is broken?" Lem said, everyone nodded their heads in agreement, they all looked at the dungeon gate and a second later it's large doors opened and a party of players appeared, they also had the Snow guild's emblems so they were allies.

"Did the monsters inside the dungeon drop any loot?" Lem asked them which made the players confused, did the monsters drop loot? Of course they would what kind of question did this madman ask them?

"What question is that Lem, have you gone crazy after the beating I gave you during our last duel?" A short woman approached Lem, she stood at a height of 4'7, she had blonde hair and golden eyes, she wore a thin leather armour with no weapons in her arsenal.

"Shut up Tess." Lem rebutted, the woman was named Tess and she was another core member like Lem who lead a party to clear dungeons, the main reason the core members of Snow were sent to clear dungeons was so that they could help the growth of their newbies while also gaining a large amount of beast cores since unlike the members, the leader of the party would take a larger portion from the loot and one of their aim was to get the bone staff of the skeleton mage.

Snow has already gotten two bone staffs for it's core members and their guild leader.

"I'm asking a very serious question now give me an answer, did.. you.. get.. loot?" Lem spoke in a calm tone but you could feel the power that accompanied every word he spoke.

Tess frown before saying, "Obviously why wouldn't mobs drop their loot?"

Lem thought he now understood the problem, the dungeon was glitched! But now that Tess has said that the monsters dropped their loot then the conclusion he came up with was false.

"When I was raiding that dungeon a few hours ago the monster didn't drop their loot, only a handful of them did." Tess wanted to laugh at Lem about what he said be she could tell that he was serious.

"Nothing odd happened when my party just raided the dungeon though."

"Their party and mine faced the same problem." Lem pointed towards Zoom's party.

"So do we stop raiding this dungeon?" Tess asked.

"No, Winter would be pissed, we still need the bone staffs, the more the better."

"Your right."

After this exchange everyone decided to keep raiding the dungeon since maybe, just maybe this was just a small glitch that would be fixed sooner or later.

Lem and Tess didn't face the problem but Zoom's party did which made them feel dreadful. While his party members were feeling down Zoom felt like he was in paradise, 95% of the loot that dropped from the mobs were his!

After clearing another the dungeon for a second time the whole party decided to disband, everyone lost their fuel as they posted about the incident online which garnered billions of views, the billions of players throughout the galaxies, countless different species sympathised with them.

A video was posted online and on the comments countless ideas were brought up on what could be the reason for the incident but none one ever accused Zoom of causing the incident which made Zoom breath a sigh of relief.

Zoom first went to a secluded area to consume his beast cores and in total he gained 75 stat points, 210 skill points and 11 tier fragments. After the two dungeon runs Zoom was now level 14 which means he had a total of 120 additional stat points. Once Zoom's level stepped into level 11 he would gain 20 stat points per level up.

With a total of 195 stat points Zoom wanted to add his stat points into his strength and endurance but he remembered that he had gotten a bone staff. With the bone staff in his inventory he had the idea of becoming a necromancer, and to become a powerful necromancer he needed a ton of mana to summon as many undead as he could.

The bone staff was a rare item that could be upgraded but that option was still unavailable to the current Zoom.

'Snow is currently raiding the wind dungeon for the bone staff which means I can't just go out showing off this thing so the safest option for now is to just hide this thing for the time being.'

'But if I solo dungeons I wouldn't need to hide this thing!' Zoom thought. Using the bone staff he could summon a small army of warriors on his own and solo dungeons without the need of a party.

'For now I'll choose to focus on being a necromancer, but I don't want to be bound being a mage, I'll become the most powerful player who can be a tank, mage or swordsman anytime I like, every role will be acquired by me.'
