-350!
Critical damage!
Along with damage, the silver wolf's red health bar appeared on the wolf's head. Even after all the attacks, its health barely went down.
Wooooooooo!
The silver wolf howled in pain.
Not wasting his momentum, he rotated to the side and started punching on top of the sword hilt.
-230
-200
-251
…
All that punching led to the sword digging deeper into Silver Wolf's leg. Almost 3/4th of the sword was in the wolf's leg.
He backed up a little, wanting to kick the sword deeper, when suddenly he felt the warm breath over his body.
In the next instant, he jumped back.
His eyes widened as he saw the silver wolf's jaws closing right before his face. Just by the hair margin, he avoided getting chewed up.
The wolf's face was inches away from him. It was glaring at him with those bulging red eyes.
Not missing this chance, he flicked the sword in his left hand toward its eyes.
Before the wolf could close its eyelids, he saw the sword tip penetrating its left eye.
-500 a steam of blood gush out.
The silver wolf opened its mouth and wailed in pain.
Waaaaaaa!
The sheer force of the wind pressure knocked him off his feet, sending him rolling to the ground.
While lying on the ground, he smirked in satisfaction at the sight of the young king crying.
While screaming, Silver Wolf tried to leap at him only for 10s of players to jump on top of it.
He saw others not missing this chance. They were trying to use the blind side to do as much damage as possible.
The Silver Wolf swung its paw and bit in random directions, trying to shake the players off.
Many players became victims but like a never-ending stream. If one player died, others took their places.
In desperation, the silver wolf screamed, but Glitch noticed none of the canines responded to its cry.
The canine army did not turn back to help it. All of them just ran ahead, targeting the village and players at the front.
It was clear something was wrong here.
Still, It was not time to think. He wasted no time and joined the others.
Instead of slashing like others, he moved around and stabbed at different weak points in the Silver wolf's body. Even though the stabbing was slower, at least this way his sword durability would last longer.
From time to time, he also consumed strength-boosting potions to get maximum damage output.
One player on the other side also managed to stab the wolf's remaining eyes, making it fully blind. In desperation, the silver wolf tried to jump away, but it was already too late.
From the start, most of the players targeted the wolf's legs. By this time, even the bones were visible on the wolf's legs.
There were also multiple long weapons stabbed all over its legs. It was so bad that the moment the wolf bent its leg trying to jump, its legs gave up and the sliver wolf fell on the ground.
He noticed only a fourth of its health remained. Glitch stopped attacking the blood-covered body. With such low health reaming, he planned to aim for critical strikes. But with such a mess of the body, it became harder for him to get critical strikes on every hit.
He looked around and noticed the unscathed front area. None of the players dared to move toward the front.
Even though the wolf was blind still it bit with precision based on its sense of smell.
Not afraid of that, he drank his 6th strength potion and rushed toward the wolf's neck with a smile on his face.
The next moment, the wolf attacked him with its jaw open. Instead of dodging, he jumped on top of the wolf's head. The blind wolf did not understand what happened and before it could react, he stabbed on its neck and jumped back.
Wolf roared, and once again pounded in his direction. He did the same and once again did a critical hit on the neck.
As the neck was one of the most venerable parts, all of his attacks resulted in critical damage.
Few tried to mimic him and joined at the front. Like every greedy player, he created trouble for them that led to them getting chewed up by the wolf.
After some failed attempts, none dared to interrupt him and he continued to amass his critical strikes.
The sliver wolf's health continues to dwindle.
Not satisfied with his contribution so far he clicked his tongue in frustration.
He estimated he would get a C or a B grade based on his performance so far.
In Universal Online, if multiple players hunt a single monster, each player involved in the hunt would get contribution points.
This contribution depends on multiple factors involved in the hunt. From damage done, to methods used, support and even leading others.
Like here, the silver wolf monster stood behind an army of 1000 s canines.
So all of them breaking past the canine formation would also add to their contribution in the last hunt of the silver wolf.
Even though he was sure this silver wolf was not the young king, this was one of the most dangerous monsters in this trial.
Based on that, those who actively hunted from the start of the war would easily get a D grade or even a C if they survived from beginning to end.
While those fighting this wolf could even gain C to B grades.
This was the reason he chose this method. He knew that out of 60 under the Eagle gang in group 3, even if 10 of them made it to Silver Wolf, then he could blend among them.
But still, this was not enough for him. There was no denying that he was lagging behind others by 22 hours, so even those who did slightly worse in this event would still get higher grades than him.
The key to changing this was the young king but he did not know where that young king was. So far, he saw no glimpse of that guy.
He stopped thinking and focused back on the wolf as its health was about to drop to the 1/10 mark.
