Silja's arms still warped around his neck and her cheeks pressed on his forehead. She remembered what Drystan had said before he died.
"Yes," Donovan gulped and replied. His jaw clenched tightly.
"Why did you leave the castle then?" Silja pulled back. Her hand slowly caressed his face soothingly. He could see the band wrapped around her hand. He stared at her hand for a long time. It must be the work of Zivan and Samuel. Donovan felt angry at both his brothers. Silja who didn't know what he was thinking asked.
"You intended to hide this from me?" Her eyes started to fill with questions.
"You said you will never hide or lie to me yet you did," he broke her trust again.
"I didn't want you to see me in such a state," Donovan replied gulping down softly.
"How many more things you intended to hide from me?" She asked.
"I-i…" Donovan closed his eye. Feeling guilty deep down.
