29 Keeping my feelings from showing.

As I realized that I had completely fallen for him, I didn't resist his offer anymore and walked side by side with him. I just let him hold my hand and lead me to the ice cream shop he was talking about.

I can see that there was a line outside the store but Gou just went straight towards the entrance ignoring the nasty stares of the customers outside. When we entered the store, it surprised me how it identically resembles an ice cream shop in the human world. It has this old school vibe that has those classic round stainless steel tables and chairs with either white or red cushions.

When the servers saw Gou entered, they immediately bow to him. And walking towards us is another ikemen! He has chiseled features with that sharp jawline, his high nose, semi-thick eyebrows, Ash-blonde silky hair that reaches his chest and that smoldering grey eyes. For a minute there, I was gawking at him until Gou stepped forward to block my view of him.

"Gou, what a pleasant surprise! Why didn't you inform me that you will be in town? If I had known I would have closed shop earlier and joined you out for a drink! Wait a minute…" As he said that he looked at one of the crews serving a customer.

The server looked like a cute lolita girl with those big curls and gothic make up, she just nodded and then ushered out the customers that are still ordering and even the ones that are still enjoying their food! Then she closed the door and flip the sign to 'closed' and ignored the angry curses the customers are shouting at her.

I was somewhat amazed at how cool they all are at dismissing their customers and the ones waiting outside. Aren't they afraid to lose their customers and the business shutting down? As I was thinking that, the ikemen looked at me and smiled. I was amazed by how handsome he even became when he flashed that smile. Now don't get me wrong, I may be in love with Gou but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate beauties when they present them in front of me.

"May I know who this lovely lady is?" He asked and reached out his hand to me.

I looked at his outstretched hand and when I was about to reach for it to give him a handshake, Gou cut in and pulled me and stood in front of me again. What the heck is wrong with him?! Is he jealous!? Man, snap out of it! Don't get too carried away. I scolded myself.

"We came in to have your desserts and hands off of her, she is not someone you can play with," Gou said with that poker face of his.

"Gou, since when did you start eating our desserts or any sweets again?! You haven't had them since-"

"Just get them and send it to our table." Gou cut the ikemen off with what he was about to say and chose a table at the far corner of the store.

I just bow apologetically to the ikemen and gave him a small smile and quickly followed Gou. When he sat down I stood behind his chair waiting for his order. I don't just want to act too friendly and just sit in front of him when we are outside. Chisa is somewhere out here and will make a big deal out of it and he'll scold me again or give me the death glare.

"Why are you standing there? Go and sit down. How can you eat when you are standing behind me?!" Gou irritatingly said.

"But we are outside? What if people saw and start spreading rumors?" I quietly said while I had my head lowered.

"Tsk! So stubborn!" After he said that he reaches out his hand and pulled me to sit on the chair across him.

I was just dumbstruck at how fast it happened, I didn't have enough time to protest. He just looked at me with that smug smile of his and I can imagine myself blushing, that is if I was still alive, but since I'm not, I can act normally without him noticing it. This is a relief for me, I don't need to be conscious at all.

I lowered my head to avoid gawking at him and just kept myself busy staring at his hands, his slender and silky smooth hands. Ooopppssss, I think I drooled there for a bit. Damn! How can a man have such beautiful hands?! If I compare it to mine… Well just forget comparing my hands to his.

"Here you go! This is one of our best sellers. This is our starberry ice cream! As you know, starberry is very hard to come by and it only bears fruit every 12 years! You are in luck that we still have this in stock and only a limited number of this dessert is served every other week! Go ahead and eat it and tell me how it tastes!" The ikemen said and sat down beside me beaming me that blinding smile of his!

"Er… Thank you, sir?" I thanked him but since I don't know his name I just addressed him like that.

Now, looking at this 'starberry', it looked like a fusion of a blueberry and a strawberry? It has the shape and color of a blueberry but it has that little seeds of the strawberry and when the light hits it, it shines like stars in the night sky… Wow! It actually does look like a star!

"You can start eating it or it will melt! And by the way, my name is Takao Habiki, you can call me by my name, or any name that you want to call me, I don't mind even if you call me yours! Oh yeah! What is your name? I- ack!" He was still saying something when Gou smacked his mouth with a spoon to shut him up!

"Pfft! Hahaha! Oooppsss! Sorry!" I couldn't help laughing and realizing I was laughing out loud I immediately apologized! Don't want to offend someone when not needed.

"That's all right! You can laugh all you want as long as I can hear that sweet and silvery laughter of yours! They are music to my ears!" Taki said and then held my hands. Taki is my nickname for him, they have long names if I add their last name so to make it short I'll just call him Taki in my head.

Boy, Taki is a real lady's killer! Good thing I'm already immune to this type of pick up lines and since I have been together with Gou and Chisa for a while, I have built up some immunity to his looks. I quickly glanced at Gou and saw that he already started eating his dessert. Feeling somewhat disappointed that he seems fine after Taki held my hands unlike how he interfere earlier.

Trying to look fine I just smiled at Taki and withdrew my hands. "Thanks, I'll start eating my dessert now! Thank you for your hospitality, and thank you for the treat Gushiken sama!" I flashed him my best smile and lowered my head to start eating my dessert.

I could feel someone staring at the top of my head but I couldn't dare my self to look up hoping it will be Gou but will be just disappointed that it wasn't him. If that would happen I don't think I can keep a straight face and clearly, my disappointment will show. I need time to calm myself and act normal or else he will notice something is up.

I need to keep my feelings in check or I won't be able to explain if he interrogates me what's wrong with me! Caution to self. Please try to keep your feelings from showing or we will be in a lot of awkward situations once Gou finds out!
