Kittykat

I was in the kitchen decorating a chocolate cake with, for some reason, chocolates. There are another things of course, like whip cream, cookies

My mother- I mean, Yin's mother, was out buying more chocolates since tomorrow is Valentine's Day. And no, my-Yin's mother doesn't have dozens of concubines, we're giving these to the neighbors.

I continued working my decoration skills while quietly singing 'Birthday' by Katy Perry. It's not a birthday cake, but the cake vibes are there.

I wasn't putting the chocolate on the cake yet, just sketching the design on some parchment paper.

"Boy when you're with me, I'll give you a taste. Make it like your birthday, everyday..." I sing. Though I'm the only one in this house, I don't dare to make my voice any louder in case the neighbor hear me. I would die of embarrassment if that happened.

"Hey, is that cake for me?"

"W-what? Who-?" Was someone listening to me? Frick.

"Oh, sorry Silver. Did I startle you?"

I turned around to see Chat Noir.

"You! Wait, how did you get in?"

"I let him in."

Behind Chat Noir was my- Oh my god, for the last time brain, she's Yin's mother!

"Why?" I asked.

"Young lady, you've been letting a hero of Paris in your room for how long now?" She demanded.

"I don't know...It's been more than a month I think...What? Oh. No no no no no! It's not like that! We're friends...! We are friends, right? Anyways, we didn't do anything! I promise! Chat could probably give you his honor or-"

"Yin, I'm just upset that you didn't tell me your friends with Chat Noir, that's all. I don't know what caused your mind to go south," she smirked- Smirked? Mothers can smirk? "And I invited Chat Noir in to help you with the cake. My old bones are tired."

"You're only forty-two, mom."

"I ain't getting any younger either," she called as she closed the door of her room.

"I like your mother," decided Chat.

"More than yours?" I teased.

Chat face became clouded. Oh, how could I have forgotten!

"C-chat? I'm sorry..."

"Sorry? For what? C'mon we have a cake to decorate!"

Oh, Chat.

"Hey! Give that back!"

I ran across the kitchen trying to get a KitKat bar back from Chat. I was struggling though, Chat is in a magical suit and I'm just an ordinary girl. But I was transported from the real world so...How normal am I really?

"Can't I just have one more?"

"No! You've already eaten two! If this continues, all the chocolate is going to end in your stomach instead of the cake, and you're supposed to help me make the whip cream as my assistant!"

"Two? I'm pretty sure it was three...Whoops, maybe I shouldn't have said that..."

He looked at me with an oh shit face when he realized that I had cornered him.

"Ha!" I cried in triumph. "I've got you in a corner now, what you gonna do?"

Suddenly Chat grinned. He jumped and flipped off of the kitchen wall and landed behind me.

"Who's cornered now?"

I took the KitKat bar from his hand, or paw? And ducked under his arm and placed it back in the fridge.

"The cream's going to melt soon, let's get to work."

I turned on the whisk and started to whisk the whip cream. One problem. I accidentally pushed the button to high and since I was holding the head of the whisk instead of resting it on its original stand, I lost control over it.

Luckily, or maybe unluckily for me, Chat came over in time and held the whisk over my hand. Thanks, but too close.

"Careful," he turned down the speed.

I'm blushing, aren't I.

"Thanks." I said through my teeth, trying to calm myself down.

Once the cream was showing stiff peaks, I asked Chat to take out the cake.

"It's quite heavy, be careful with it. Mother and I spent an entire afternoon on that cake."

"Got it, boss."

I left the cake to Chat as I transferred the cream into a piping bag.

"Okay, so the tip we're using today is the big flower one. I've drawn the design on a piece of paper. It's on the table if you want to see it."

"It looks amazing!"

"Thanks, let's just hope the cake will be too."

Before decor, I had another layer of cream to put on the outside of the cake. Chat had already gotten the spatula for me.

"Done! Now just smooth it out..."

"Can I do this part, Silver?" Asked Chat.

"Well, this takes skill and you told me that you've never baked before...But, there's a first time for everything, so alright."

Chat happily took the spatula from my hand and, following my instructions, he smoothed out the cream on the cake. Well, he tried to.

Somehow Chat had tripped over his own feet and accidentally flicked the spatula, digging a hole in the smoothen cream and getting a dollop of it on his cheek.

I couldn't even get mad, he looked so silly. Instead, I burst out laughing. "Oh, Chat! You have cream on your check."

"Oh, I'll go get some tissues to wipe it off..."

But before Chat could go anywhere, I stood on my tip-toes and swiped the cream away with my thumb. I licked it off and said, "Delicious!"

Chat was still for a few seconds before blooming into a Hibiscus.

I went back to the cake, trying to patch up the hole Chat had made, pretending that nothing big had happened. But if I'm being completely honest...I might have enjoyed that moment a little more than I should have.

"Fine, I'll let you eat that one since we have enough chocolate bars left. But you can't have anymore!"

"Okay!" Chat replied gleefully.

"Help me arrange the chocolate according to the sketch I made," I instructed Chat. "We can probably get this done before...Nine o'clock. I think."

"Hohay!" He probably meant to say okay.

Twenty minutes later, we were finally done. The cake looks amazing!

And the fact that this was made by a fourteen year-old and an unexperienced cat boy makes it twice as great.

"So...can I have that?"

Chat tilted his head towards the last KitKat bar.

"Um, no! This is mine!" I swiped the chocolate and quickly opened it to take a huge bite.

Chat looked at me with puppy dog eyes as I chewed on the chocolate. Or are they kitten cat eyes?

"Ha, you can try all you want, but I never give into these things. You should stop now, you're just wasting your time," I advised Chat, walking to the living room.

But Chat continued with his shenanigans while following me.

"You like KitKats a lot, don't you," I laughed. "KittyKh-at."

Chat Noir grinned at my pun.

"That was brilliant!"

"Why, thank you! I would like to thank my master here for his dedicated teaching and-"

I felt the bar of chocolate leave my palm.

"KittyKat! Give that back to me!"

"Ha-ha, payback!"

"What-" Oh.

I saw my reflection in a mirror and boy, I was redder than Chat was just now.

"Bye, Silver!" He jumped out the window.

"Hey! Come back here and give me my chocolate back! You're also helping me with the dishes!"
