Neko! Cat Noir x Reader

"Meow!", chirped the black kitten. His attempts to crawl his way to freedom were unsuccessful. No matter how loud he was, the bystanders would pass him as if he wasn't there.

The kitten gave up his attempts, and curled into a ball to shield himself from the winter cold. It was very early into winter, so luckily it wasn't too chilly. The kitten looked at his green collar, the one his mother gave him.

The kitten closed his eyes shut, and tried resting. There was a voice that called out, "Oh! Look (B/f/n)(Best friend's name, sorry!)! It's a little kitty! He's so cute!". The kitten looked up in hope, and sure enough, a girl was pointing directly at him.

His ear perked up with delight. His heart fluttered. The girl was very pretty.

The girl had (H/l), (H/c) hair, (E/c) eyes that sparkled, (S/t) skin, and a very bright smile. The kitten called out to the girl, only simple sounds coming out. The girl picked him up, hugging him in the process.

"Uh, girl?", (B/f/n) redirected her best friend's attention to her. The girl turned to her friend, giving a him in reply. "Don't tell me, you're keeping it.".

The girl nodded her head very eagerly, and looked at the kitten. She smiled, and asked the feline, "What's your name? I believe you're a male...hmmm. Oh! You have a collar!". The kitten looked at her hand reaching for the green accessory surrounding his neck.

The girl looked at the tag, and read out loud, "No name...well, then. It says you're a male... You are a black cat, as if that wasn't obvious.". She looked the kitten in the eyes, inspecting them. "You have adorable, vright, green eyes, kitty!".

The kitten responded, "Meow! Meeoow!". He disliked the fact that all of his words were coming out in cat sounds. He was trying to say, "Please! Take me with you!".

The girl somehow understood the cat. She looked at the box, it reading, "Choose a kitten.". She smiled at the kitten, and said, "Well then, I think I'll take you home with me. How's that sound? I'll also name you!".

The girl started walking with her best friend, thinking of names for the kitten. "We could name it after Cat Noir, you know, from Miraculous Ladybug?", (B/f/n) suggested. (Y/n) smiled, and shouted, "Perfect! Although, I think we should name him...Adrien.". Then, she smirked.

The two girls were fangirls of the superhero. They loved Cat Noir. This kitten reminded them so much of him!

As they rounded the corner, (Y/n) said, "Wouldn't it be cool if he was a neko?". (B/f/n) laughed, and said, "Yep!". They reached (B/f/n)'s house, which signaled their departure.

(Y/n) waved to (B/f/n), and yelled as loud as she could, "Bye, girl! See you tomorrow!". The other girl just waved and repeated the same thing. (Y/n) began her walk to her own house, which, luckily, wasn't but a few houses down.

Her steps were fast. She was so happy to have a new pet! The kitten stayed alert, ready to enter his owner's house.

(Y/n) twisted the doorknob, and walked into her house. She looked around, sighing at the happiness she felt everyday. "Meooow!", the kitten cried.

(Y/n) looked at her new companion, and said, "Ok, I'll get you some food right away...Adrien. That's your new name, Adrien. Like it?". She let the cat from her grasp, closing the door behind her.

Adrien marched his way through the house, getting a sense of where everything was. Then, he stopped. A puff of smoke arose from where he stood.

Adrien had no clue of what was going on. He panicked, and shouted, "Hey! What's going on!". Thdn, he covered his mouth.

He could speak! Then, his eyes trailed down to his entire being. He was a human!

(Y/n) ran to check out the noise, scared of an intruder. She gasped when she found a male in all black in her living room. "Cat Noir?!".

Adrien looked at himself as best he could, then stared at (Y/n). He was so flustered. All he could say was, "(Y-y/n)...?".

All nekos knew their owners names. So, it made sense that Adrien knew (Y/n)'s name. (Y/n) was internally screaming.

She always wanted to meet Cat Noir! Here he was, in the flesh! She walked up to him, and said, "You are Cat Noir, right?".

Adrien shook his head, and insisted, "You named me Adrien.". (Y/n) laughed, and explained, "Ok, I just mean, I named you off of a character from one of my favorite shows. That character has two sides to him, Cat Noir and Adrien. I first named you Adrien, 'cous why the heck not? But then, you go full on neko and become Cat Noir!".

She laughed uncontrollably, and sighed. Adrien smiled. He had made his owner happy.

"I guess your name is Cat Noir now, unless you want me to call you Adrien. Which do you prefer?".

"Adrien.".

"Ok, well, you look more like Cat Noir, but ok.".

You walked into your kitchen and got some cheese, Camembert cheese, to be precise. You set it down on a plate, handing it to Adrien. You watched as he ate it very slowly, savoring every bite.

You just had to ask.

"Adrien?".

"Hmm?".

"Why did you choose to be called Adrien in stead of Cat Noir?".

"Because...it's the name you first chose for me. It holds a very special place in my heart because you picked it out.".
