Minecraft: An Odyssey

This is a story I am carefully building for fun off of five mod series I have planned for Minecraft. If you are reading this, I will have you know that I am just writing this for fun, and have no plans on making anything serious out of it. This will be a rated G or E story, possibly T (if I implement swears). There will be NO MATURE CONTENT. If you are here for mature content, scram, this isn't the place for you. On another side note, I am writing (the draft at least) this story on google docs, and thus I might encounter weird misspellings not noticed by the auto-correct features. Either that or the error comes from my own mistakes while I'm outside internet access and thus the auto-correct is offline. Just point it out and I will see about fixing it, although I generally don't look at notifications for comments. Author-kun, out.

Skip if you like being confused, be warned it may be boring, I don't actually care if it is. muahahahaha >:)

First, this is a Minecraft Fanfiction. Mojang owns all rights to the game itself, and the only part of this story I own is my OC's and the content from my mods (which will be hard to find, as they will just be theories and drafts for a few years).

Second, again, no mature content, beat it if thats what your here for.

Third, if you hate on me or my story for mistakes, I will bitch slap you across the internet. I don't mind if you point out a mistake, but if you hate on me for mucking up (I'm not perfect after all), I will be unpleased.

Four, this story will take place either one, during the early days of the lore you will be able to dig up with my mods or two, set place well after the period you play in. Which option this is will depend on a public vote through the comments on the chapter I designate as the chapter to vote on. ONLY VOTE DURING THE PERIOD STATED, I will ignore you if you one, somehow vote before the date or two, vote after it. I will collectively count up the votes and choose whichever one is more popular.

Finally, I am working around school, possibly military applications (I plan on it no matter what, what I'm actually doing at the moment depends on both when you read this and when I publish it), and a generally hectic, crazy, and low budget life. Do not expect regular updates. I will update when I can. I will also often hit writing walls, as I am not too creative. Please comment whenever you like (but don't hate on me) and feel free to (without hating on me) say if I'm progressing it too fast or a bit too slow (if it's slow, sorry I don't want to be a dick author who goes 'he finds a cool artifact, oh look he is op now, he finds more! He more op. Bang, he god now, story over'. I want actual progression, and the MC is not a superhero. He is an ordinary human who is just in a bad spot.)

Now, the part we all dread, the world building.

The world the MC is in is called… we'll get back to this later (A/N: brain dead author-kun can't come up with anything). It is a unique world, full of wonders of nature and magic, and a world in which technology, when poorly developed, is considered heratical or dishonorable. The most advanced technology ever created is TNT (A/N: wow wonder what it's made from), and it is made from the strange, flammable powder that certain monsters, or 'mobs' drop. Few people use it, and when they do, they use it sparsely. The world used to be in a golden age, in which people were many, all the sentient races were at peace with each other, and overall, the world was at peace. Then He came. Who He is is forbidden knowledge, and to know His name is almost impossible and forbidden, as it may bring Him back (A/N: you will find out who this 'he' is later on ;D ).

And now, without further ado, the actual story.
