Captured

Jake Wilson was 21years old but already the leader of one of the most important gangs of the town. Ever since he was a child, he had always been troublesome and problematic. It could have affected partly from his parents who always got into fights every night, making it impossible for him to sleep. After his mother died due to an illness, he finally left his home at the age of only 10 and lived off of doing gang works. This was the reason why he was already leading a big gang.

Him and Julie used to be very close during their childhood. Even after he left his house, she was the only one who came finding for him. She was the only one who gave him money when he needed it. Or provided him food even without asking.

Jake respected Julie a lot. She was the only person who he called family and it was enough for him to do anything she asked. Because she saved his life in a way.

Jake's gang was never in the wanted list of police because he always made sure they were super careful. He wasnt connected with any highly influenced people too as they were just snotty rich hags who used money to get whatever they wanted. He hated that kind of people. If any of his gang member didnt agree with the decision, he would ask them to leave the gang.

Julie was pretty confident that not even Brent's company would able to track them down due this reason. It was a perfect chance. She stood infront of the unconscious girl tied up to the metal chair. She clenched her fist tightly, staring at the figure. So many thoughts coming up her mind, broken by Jake's voice, " Are you fine doing this?"

She nodded lightly and changed the subject: ' I came across that woman.'

Jake carefully interpreted her hands, " That woman?.....you mean....her?" his face changed to shocked. " How in the world...."

Julie scoffed thinking about that ragged woman in the alley. She was surprised for sure meeting her but it also made her satisfied: ' she is homeless.'

" That means she cant find you again....right?"

She nodded, bringing her attention back to the girl. It had already been 6 hours since they captured Wish and her phone was with Julie. William had called her multiple times. She left the phone and her bag back at her apartment so that they wouldnt track its location. Also, it would be fun to see their confused expression after finding her phone in her own apartment.

Grabbing the nearby water bottle, Julie sprinkled it on her face. Wish immediately opened her eyes, breathing heavily. Seeing the unknown location and her body tied up, she became scared and confused, " Where am i?...." her eyes instantly landed on Julie who was right infront of her, " Ju-julie?"

Julie didnt respond, staring down at her with hatred.

Wish understood what was going on, making her blood boil, " So, this was what you wanted to do??! Are you happy now that you separated me with William?? So, what are you gonna do now? Leave me in this dungeon for the rest of my life?" she shouted angrily. She knew Julie hated her a lot but never thought she could go this low. Seriously, kidnapping?? Wish scoffed at her, still trying to believe this was really happening. " fuck...." she hissed under her breath.

Meanwhile Julie was trying to control her anger as well. Clapping her hands twice, she grabbed Wish's attention: 'stay here for a few days till i finish my job. then i will let you go."

" Few days??...." Wish asked losing her patience, " what are you planning to do?"

'You will know it soon.' Julie glanced at Jake and signalled something, leaving the room. Now, only the two were in the semi-dark garage, reeking of metal and dust.

" Do you need water?" he asked, staring down at the helpless girl. When she didnt reply anything, he sighed leaving the garage as well.

" This.....must not be happening...." Wish mumbled to herself, looking at the empty space. She remembered how she was on the way to William's office to ask the question. That question which was haunting her and not letting her sleep for so many days. Why did it have to be today? Did she really deserved this?

In the midst of her thoughts, she fell asleep due to exhaustion.

After few hours, footsteps woke her up and once she adjusted her vision, she remembered what had happened. The guy came inside with what looked like food. In a state like this, they wanted her to eat? Wish looked the other way from the guy.

He put the food nearby her feet, " I will untie your hands so eat the food." hearing no reply from the girl, he sighed, untying the rope. " I know you might not want to eat but you got to, if you wanna get out alive."

She didnt respond still looking away. " Or....." he continued, " i might have to feed you."

Wish glared at him.

" I was just kidding. but seriously eat." Jake stood next to her. Looks like she wouldnt touch the food no matter what. All he could do was wait and watch.

" Is Julie not coming?" she spoke for the first time.

" I dont think so....she has somewhere to be." he answered, " Do you have something to say to her?"

"Where is she?"

" I dont know." he observed the girl. She looked tired and exhausted, her eyes showed emptiness and she didnt once try to escape. He had expected some screaming and tantrums but it was the opposite.

" Is she trying to postpone our wedding?" Wish asked again.

Jake didnt know the reason as well. Wedding? So, was breaking the wedding Julie's motive? " I dont know....either."

It was obvious Julie wanted to separate her from William. To break their wedding, Julie might have come up with some plan, getting rid of her, of course. Maybe this was how it was gonna end. " I guess i was supposed to lose this game after all." she said that out loud, making Jake surprised.

So what now, if their marriage got cancelled before Wish could take revenge on her father, everything would come crashing down. There would be nothing left. " Why should it always be me? I never asked to have this shitty life...." she kept mumbling to her own. Jake didnt say anything, listening and trying to understand the situation. So, rich people had problems too? he thought.

Starting from her father abandoning her, to Lisa hating on her just because she was the step-sister and now, Julie hating because she took away her crush. " How would i have known that someone liked William this bad??! and now just because of that i am trapped in this place!" she cried suddenly, startling Jake. But Jake swore he heard William. " You mean William Brent?"

Wish nodded, tears brimming on her eyes. She didnt want to cry.....yet. She should be stronger to hold it in.

" What if Julie didnt do this for her crush?" he said though he wasnt supposed to say it.

" What do you mean?" Wish was quick to hear it.

" Nothing....you should eat." he changed the subject.

Wish ignored him and her tears finally streamed down her cheeks. She couldnt hold it in anymore. " everything is over.....all my hard....work...im sorry mom..." she sobbed silently, her free hands covering her face.

Jake was still confused about what she kept mumbling about. But one thing was sure, she was suppose to marry William Brent. He suddenly felt bad, which he shouldnt have. He blurted something out unintentionally, shocking himself.

" You shouldnt be losing hope....so fast."
