7 The Spell Of Life And Soul Concept

Three years had already passed, and Kol was now eighteen years old.

It had been difficult for him to gain a complete control over his ever-growing Kryptonian abilities.

After all, he was just an average guy before, though with Magic. But having to live normally after all of a sudden gaining all that power had been a challanging task for him.

At first, he was really clumsy and destroyed everything he touched. Once even burned down the roof of the house with heat vision. Thank god nobody was home, and he quickly fixed it with a spell before it could draw much attention.

But as time passed, Kol got the hang of it, and started to control his strength subconsciously. Now he no longer had any problems, and lived normally.

This was autumn season, so sun didn't shine much, but winter solstice was quickly approaching and it was about to get even colder and shadier.

Somewhere in the village of Mystic Falls.

Currently, Kol was making out with a beautiful blonde girl at the door of an average size house.

As he was leaning forward, one of his arms was wrapped around her slim figure, embracing that perfect shape of her body.

She was leaning back and breathing heavily while Kol was probing her mouth with his tongue. Occasionally kissing her hot lips soaked in saliva.

Kol's other hand was groping her soft, elastic arse. The roughness of fabric along with the bounciness of her butt aroused him greatly. His middle finger was occasionally trying to penetrate the thin clothing to find its way to her butthole.

Their bodies were tightly wrapped around each other. They could feel each other's temperature. Each other's breath and desire contained within it.

He felt her warmth. Felt that seductive body in his arms. As she was breathing heavily while kissing, he could feel her eagerness. Her body was shaking as she lost almost all her strength and completely submitted to his advances. His arms carried the entire weight of her flexible, lithe body.

He was breathing in her arousing bodily aroma, feeling the hot breath, and inhaling the bewitching scent of her hairs.

He wanted nothing more than to take her right away and he could tell that that's exactly what she wanted.

They looked at each other in the eyes filled with lust and passion. Clearly understanding each other's intentions. The yearning for their touch in other's eyes. The sheer desire to possess themself.

It shook them both to their core. Subconsciously bringing their psyche to the threshold of loosing that last shred of reason, and giving in to their basic instincts.

Yet at the same time, some remaining reason still held them back. Reminding them of the inappropriateness of this situation.

They both knew that they couldn't continue further, but Kol still asked, "Let's go inside.!?", to give her enough time to regain her bearings.

He could feel that she was already wet down there.

"NO.!! My aunt is still home. We cannot anymore. You go back.!", she replied shyly while not meeting his gaze.

This girl's name was Astrid. She was a friend of Rebekah's. Kol met her a year ago.

Mikaelson family usually just spent time with each other, and didn't interact much with their neighbours. But they had a good reputation in the village.

Similarly, Rebekah didn't have many friends. So when Kol saw his sister chatting happily with another girl her age, he got curious and decided to join them in their little adventure.

And that's how Kol met Astrid. He felt an instant attraction towards her, and she too was smitten with him.

But Kol couldn't do anything about it at that time, because he was still learning to better control his newly gained Kryptonian abilities. He wanted to fu*k her, not accidentally kill her.

Over time, due to the lack of any real pursuit from either side and their recurrent meetings because of Rebekah, their mutual attraction only grew stronger, and eventually developed into a possibility of love. The two couldn't get enough of each other.

Not far from the village of Mystic Falls, lived an ancient, prominent and ever-thriving werewolf pack. The North East Atlantic Pack.

Once a month, every full moon, the werewolves would turn. So the Mikaelson family, along with their neighbours would retreat to the caves beneath their village.

The wolves would howl through the night, and by morning they would return home.

Currently, Kol was sitting in one of these caves.

It was a small cave, but the entire space was enchanted with several spells to make sure that no one disturbed him.

Magic formations and various circular matrices could be seen everywhere.

In front of him, Kol was looking at what could only be described as his greatest creation to date. Perhaps even in the future he might not be able to make something of this calibre.

It was a small, circular stone altar.

But the important thing wasn't the altar itself, but the spell formation inscribed in it.

This spell was the result of the accumulation of all of Kol's research to this day. This was a spell that could upgrade itself and evolve according to the strength of the soul of the being who used it.

Kol named it, -- "The Spell Of Life And Soul Concept.".

This spell had two parts.

Part One added a new attribute to the soul and could evolve said attribute theoretically endlessly, beyond any limits, but only depending on whether that soul could handle it.

Part two could add two conditions on that attribute. Besides the soul and its attribute, the conditions could also involve theoretically anything related to that soul, as long as the soul in question was strong enough to handle it.

Based on the increase in the strength of that soul, the spell could upgrade the attribute and its conditions, hence they could evolve endlessly.

If there was no upgrade, then this attribute could be influenced through these conditions, because, in that case every condition could be activated or deactivated, therefore leaving a temporary flaw in the design until the upgrade.

Kol looked at the beautiful purple gem placed in the middle of the altar.

This was the Power Stone, one of the six Infinity Gems from the Marvel World.

Usually, the infinity gems wouldn't work if they were taken outside of the universe they belonged to.

However, when you add omnipotent beings into the equation, anything is possible.

Kol didn't know about who Edward really was, or how could he be an another version of himself, but he was sure that this Power Stone would work in any world.

Kol's spell was strong. Really strong enough to alter the very fabric of reality, but similarly, it could only be used once on one person, and once in one reality. It also required an almost limitless amount of energy to work.

This was why Kol was using the Power Stone to power the spell.

The Power Stone was the remnant of a singularity that predated the universe. It was a powerful weapon capable of granting a person great cosmic power, but it was also highly likely to kill any organic being who touched it.

Kol was going to change that last part. He was going to make this stone harmless to him.

But that wasn't all he was going to do. In fact, it was just a side benefit of what he really wanted to accomplish.

Kol took a deep breath and activated all the formations, and the alter.

"BOOOM.!!", the entire cave shook with a loud boom, and the energy of the Power Stone was released with a blast.

The blast was so strong that it would turn him into molecules had he still been human, but now it only made him lean back a little due to impact.

Good thing this cave was protected by several different kinds of spell formations and all the sound was blocked, otherwise it could cause trouble for him.

With a bright purple glow, the alter activated, and as soon as it did, Kol lost consciousness.

His soul was pulled out of his body and started floating above the alter.

The attribute that he wished to add was nothing special. It was going to evolve in future anyway, so he made it simple to make sure that it would had a greater evolutionary potential.

The first part of the spell decreed, that his soul would be intimately linked with the Power Stone. And that was it. That was the attribute he wished to add in his soul.

This was the limit of what his soul could handle at the moment. Even if he had gone for something greater, the attribute would be automatically reduced to a simplified version of itself, something that his soul could currently handle.

As for the second part of the spell, he added the following two conditions on the attribute.

According to the first condition, the link would make it so that Kol could never truly die as long as this Power Stone existed.

According to the second condition, the link would make it so that Kol's soul could never be damaged or destroyed as long as this Power Stone existed.

.

A few hours later, at first, Kol's body shook a little.

Then, "HHUUUUU", he took a really deep breath to fill up his lungs that had been deprived of air for hours.

Kol sat up with a start, "Huh.! Huh.! Huh.! Huh.!", and started breathing heavily.

After calming down a little, he used several different kinds of spells to check his condition.

The spell had succeeded and the attribute had been added. Kol's soul was now intimately linked with the Power Stone, in such a way that he would never truly die, and his soul would never be damaged or destroyed, as long as the Power Stone still existed.

According to the spell at current stage, he would still age and evolve, get hurt and change, but every time he really died, the Power Stone would automatically fix his body to its state before death.

Even if his body was completely disintegrated on a quantum level, it would still be recreated from scratch.

It was just a speculation for now, but Kol estimated that this spell could evolve his attribute four more times, depending on the level of strength of his soul.

That meant that it had Five Stages, and currently, Kol's soul was only powerful enough to handle Stage One.

However, every time Kol died, his soul would get stronger a little, and when the soul was strong enough, the spell would automatically advance his attribute to the next stage.

For now, Kol could not directly use the energy of the Power Stone, but he could still do it through a spell formation, or a Magical artifact.

He had to be close to the Power Stone every time he died, otherwise his soul would have to wander around to look for it to get a new body and be reborn again.

After checking his condition, Kol deactivated all the spell formations in the cave, and picked up the Power Stone from the ashes of the altar.

Since it was nothing more than a medium, the altar could not handle all that energy, and was automatically reduced to ashes after the completion of the spell.

After erasing all the evidence of him ever being here, Kol left the caves and went outside. He was really happy today, and he had a feeling that he would be able to fly now. So he wanted to give that a shot once again.
