Enjoying the show

The deafening sounds of the ambulance filled the streets of 'Quinlan residential', one of the most well-to-do neighborhoods of the Capital city.

Upon hearing the noises, a crowd of neighbors surrounded the Su family's residence. Usually, the streets were always quit. So, when they saw men taking Su Min on a stretcher, they all circled around and started to gossip.

"Did you hear?", a middle-aged woman asked her friend.

"What?"

"I heard from my neighbor that a beauty just entered the house, and a few minutes later, president Su suddenly coughed blood. Do you think that she is the president's mistress? And when she came all the way to his home to blackmail him, the madam got angry and berated her husband until he coughed blood!"

"Huh? If this is the case, then won't that be quite funny? Madam Hu is after all a mistress to begin with", someone who heard their conversation snickered and covered her mouth in a gossipy manner while approaching them.

"Right right!!", the middle-aged woman nodded pridefully when she noticed other people listening to her. She had always disliked Hu Wenchi as she kept bullying them. because their husband had to curry favor with president Su, she grew smug and haughty.

She kept bullying the weak while sticking to the wealthy madam of high society, unfortunately for Hu Wenchi, she was just a mistress and was disdained by most of them and could only be considered theirs sidekick.

"Daddy!!", the heart wrenching cry sounded and interrupted their chit-chatting. They all turned their heads toward the crying voice and found a young and beautiful tearful lady. She was holding her father's hand while sobbing softly.

The sight stirred the surrounding people's hearts, and they all tried to comfort her.

"Here, here, young lady. I'm sure your daddy is fine"

"Yeah right!! Just believe in the doctor's expertise!!", a man nodded towards the hospital's nurses.

"Yaya, my dear, don't cry", a gentle woman's voice reached their ears as she comforted softly her daughter.

"Mommy, what should we do? Daddy was already in a bad health, but now he even coughed up blood of anger", her sobs filled the streets as she complained to her mother.

"It's all my fault, I should have just given up on brother Han, I knew that sis likes him the most, but I couldn't bear to part with him. I love him so much..", Su Ya pretended to be guilty and sad with a tearful face.

Su Jin who was leaning against the door was stunned. What did her father coughing blood have anything to do with their brother 'whatsoever his name was'? She just came to take Su Jin's inheritance back from those greedy people. She didn't expect to be caught in some sort of show.

She smiled as she anticipated the upcoming show, she even reached for her handbag to take out a whole box of peanuts. Should she ask some servants to bring her some tea and snacks too?

When she did, the maid looked at her as if she was crazy.

Su Ya's mother understanding what her daughter was aiming at, spoke righteously: "Su Jin!! Why are you so unfilial? Your sister and Han So love each other, and we already agreed to betroth them, but you kept sticking to your brother-in-law! And now that you have fooled around for a whole of five years outside, you suddenly came back and wished to take three million yuan from us? How can you be so cruel?", madam Hu berated her with a gentle yet sad and disappointed gaze.

The 'three million yuan' caused their hearts to stop beating slightly. They were all stunned at the ridiculously huge sum. Even if they worked all their lives, they could at most gather two to three million. And most of the madams' husbands owned companies that was worth only a few million, some couldn't even reach the threshold of Two million yuan.

"No, don't say anymore mom! It's my fault!! I should have just let big sister have brother Han. Because of me, my sister went missing and fooled around outside to express her sadness. I should have known better. Now my sis has been away from home for five years, causing her to lose all her manners and upbringing. It's our fault after all.", Su Ya hugged her mother as if she was trying to stop her from falling off with her sister.

"Oh, Yaya, my poor daughter. I am so useless, although I have taken care of Jinjin like my blood-related daughter. I still failed to teach her and couldn't stop her from straying in the wrong path. I have failed as a mother", her resigned voice caused the surrounding people to soften their faces and couldn't help but want to comfort them.

They all started to blame the eldest missy in their hearts and kept scolding her for being heartless. Not knowing that the so-called heartless missy was actually enjoying the show in the back.

It was only when Su Ya directed her prideful gaze toward the door that they noticed a beautiful woman sitting casually on a chair with tea and snacks around her.

Madam Hu and Su Ya were stunned at the sight, they said so much and the neighbors were already berating her so harshly. But she even found the time to sit leisurely and drink tea. She was shameless as expected.

The onlookers followed their gaze and saw the same strange sight.

"Who the hell is this woman? She seems like she is enjoying her time", one of them commented in a low voice.

"Su Jin!! Are you not feeling guilty at all? Your father is still unconscious and being carried to the hospital, yet you are leisurely enjoying your time!!"

Madam Hu's voice interrupted their thought. Hearing her they all directed disdainful eyes towards Su Jin.

"Huh! Look at that, we really can't judge a book by its cover. She is so beautiful but have a cold and ruthless heart!!", one of the middle-aged women sneered.

"Yeah! She is just a vase and can't compare to the compassionate and gentle second miss Su!", another one said sourly.

Su Jin was too beautiful, and they already disliked her.

The stunning and hidden big shot directed her amused eyes towards the talking people before chuckling and saying innocently: "Aren't you also discussing and chit-chatting while father is still bedridden? Madam Hu, sister, you sure are ruthless!!"
