Chapter 20 Are you?
The four ladies all looked at Michael but the only response they got was "no".
"Pardon?" Sarah asked looking rather shocked.
(When was the last time someone refused a request from me)
"As I informed the others on the way here I have no interest in giving you the recipe or anything regarding that drink." Michael replied as he stared into Sarah's sharp blue eyes.
They stared at each other before Sarah smiled and said " good I like a man who sticks to his word, I already knew about you not willing to talk about it but I had to check myself."
"I apologies as I meant no offense."
"That's fine as long as you understand my position." Michael replied.
"Well that was unpleasant thank you Sarah." Alexia said with a huff as she pulled out her phone. Sarah just stuck out her tongue before she went back to snuggling Gracie.
"How goes the plans for the auction tomorrow Jane?" Alexia asked.
"Going well, Sarah has already done everything on the business side before we arrived so that an official announcement will be made as soon as we determine the winning bid and how much the first donation will be and from who."
"I have already contacted the club where we are holding the after party and informed them of the slight change of plans." Jane informed the group.
"Are you sure it's ok for me to listen into this? I mean it's all private information regarding your company." Michael asked as he was about to stand.
"Don't worry just stay where you are, after all it was your idea for the auction and anything we deem to sensitive we can talk about when you're not present." Alexia said with a smile
"Alexia is right, why are you so worried when we are not, if we are happy talking about it in front of you it's because it's ok for you to know." Sarah added
"Unless of course you're uncomfortable with me and Gracie here?" She asked as she kissed Gracie again.
"Why would I be uncomfortable about that? It's a free country and you can love who you wish, also this is your penthouse and I am just a guest so I have no right to speak." Michael replied as all the women looked at him sharply trying to see if he was lying.
"It makes me happy to hear that." Gracie spoke this time.
"Not everyone is mature enough to realise that times have changed and it's now ok to love and marry someone of the same sex."
"There are still many sexual practices that are frowned upon and not just by the older generation."
"Who we love and who we give our heart to is up to the individual and no one else." Michael answered
"Tho I can't really speak from experience having never been in love myself. He added at the end.
After he spoke the last few words the women all gave him their complete attention.
Alexia stopped looking at her phone, Jane stopped working on the laptop, Sarah and Gracie pulled away from each other.
"Oh this is juicy gossip please tell us more "Gracie said.
"What do you want me to tell you?" Michael asked before continuing.
"As I said I have never been in love with another person."
"I'm assuming you have dated in the past or you have a girlfriend right now?" Gracie asked.
"Miss Silver what women would allow me to come to London to stay with the four most beautiful women in the world?"
"I have no girlfriend and I am single."
"Four most beautiful women?" Jane asked curiously.
"Even I know that Miss Demonte here is regarded as the most beautiful and popular woman in the world." Michael answered to which three women nodded in agreement and one seemed to find something interesting outside.
"I say four because even I have read an article about the four queens in the past, it stated in the article that all four were breathtakingly beautiful women."
"The only reason the four queens do not hold the top four spots of the most beautiful women is because the officially recognized poll only counts women from the entertainment industry to which Miss Demonte is the only one of the four." Michael finished
"So tell me Michael what's your opinion on that article now that you have met the four queens yourself?" Sarah asked with a smirk.
"100% agree, which is why I said staying with the four most beautiful women in the world." Michael replied almost instantly.
At this point all four women's eyes seemed to light up and a smile appeared on each of their lips.
"Thank you Michael that's very sweet but please don't change the subject." Gracie winked
"Have you dated in the past."
"I have but it never lasted very long."Michael replied.
"Why not" Jane asked this time.
Michael just shrugged and replied "it did not feel right, there was no spark no real attraction."
"Are you a virgin" Sarah asked which caused everyone to look at her
Eventually Michael responded "are you?"
