In the original, he lived in a shack and that made him a lot harsher; however, after feedback from readers, I determined that the whole shack thing wasn't very believable and so I changed it to a cheap apartment and thus he's a bit less harsh. Also, I plan to try and change his personality more slowly in this version since it kind of had an abrupt change in the orginal
