Chapter 100 I got shot

"I Gracie Helen Silver, one of 'The Four Queens of Balance' and secret protector of my sisters' hearts hereby proclaim on my title that Michael Vandal is worthy to be given 'The Choice' and should he accept, he will be accepted as the candidate to possibly become 'The One King of Balance'." 

The girls all looked at Gracie with serious expressions as Gracie stared back at them with a similar expression. 

Finally, after several minuets Sarah sighed before asking. 

"Gracie is this because you really think he is worthy and we have tested him enough, or because you want his cock in you and to give him that which you have never given any man that you made the proclamation under Kaleisha's Talon?" 

"Both" Gracie answered straight away without thinking about her answer. 

"You know what this means right? now that you have made a proclamation under Kaleisha's Talon you cannot revert your decision without approval of 'The Council of Balance', 'The Head Priestess of Balance', 'The Four Queens of Balance' and if he exists at the time 'The One King of Balance'." 

"If you attempt to do so you will be stripped of your rank as 'One of the Four Queens' and depending on the severity of the proclamation you made you may even be executed." Jane asked. 

"I am fully aware as are all of you. After tonight I truly believe that Michael will be only the second person in history to become 'The One King' and maybe even be chosen by Kaleisha herself as the first was." Gracie Explained. 

"Also, priestess June also believes he is the one as she has said." 

"As for wanting his cock you already know this from what I told you in the swimming pool, we have all been holding back when it comes to Michael because we wanted to see if he has potential to be a candidate and also because if he does become our fifth by accepting 'The choice' we all want a proper relationship with him and not just sex am I not right?" 

The women all fell into silence again as the other three Queens thought about what Gracie said while the four shadows watched quietly from the side as this was not their choice to make. 

Several minutes of silence went by before Alexia made Kaleisha's Talon gesture as Gracie had done before and proclaimed. 

"I Alexandria Alexia Demonte, one of 'The Four Queens of Balance' and .... hereby proclaim on my title that Michael Vandal is worthy to be given 'The Choice' and should he accept, he will be accepted as the candidate to possibly become 'The One King of Balance'." 

She proclaimed, however where Gracie had stated her mission to protect her sisters' hearts, Alexia remained silent as her mission was still secret. 

Next Jane made Kaleisha's Talon gesture before proclaiming. 

"I Jane Elizabeth Ventor, one of 'The Four Queens of Balance' and .... hereby proclaim on my title that Michael Vandal is worthy to be given 'The Choice' and should he accept, he will be accepted as the candidate to possibly become 'The One King of Balance'." 

Finally, Sarah made Kaleisha's Talon gesture before proclaiming. 

"I Sarah Jane Michaels, one of 'The Four Queens of Balance' and .... hereby proclaim on my title that Michael Vandal is worthy to be given 'The Choice' and should he accept, he will be accepted as the candidate to possibly become 'The One King of Balance'." 

As Alexia, Jane and Sarah finished their proclamations Gracie spoke again. 

"Very well then, we agreed, once Mike awakens and is feeling well enough, we will discuss this with him and offer him 'The Choice'." 

"For now, I suggest we all get some sleep it has been a far busier day than we expected for what should have been a relaxing day after a party." 

All the girls agreed to Gracie's suggestion and so the queens started to head back to their rooms. 

Since the shadows could not leave because of the lockdown they decided to spend the night with their individual queens after all it was not the first time they had slept together.

The next day the girls awoke to find Michael still unconscious which worried them; however, Athena informed them that good vitals where all fine and most likely his body just needed rest after the mental ordeal he was put through. 

The girls spent the day relaxing and watching TV, 

Thought Athena had disabled all external communication so they could not get any signal on their phones and no internet, she still let them watch TV such as the news but that's it. 

Mark Philips, Greg Stevens and Jake Daniels had all been charged by the police and released on bail. 

Michelle Rodriguez however was in the wind; no information had been found on her since she landed in Los Angeles and disappeared. 

It wasn't until that evening when the eight ladies where snuggling in groups watching a movie that Athena made an announcement that got their attention.

*Life signs detector in the medical room 

Indicates that primary user Michael Vandal will regain consciousness momentarily* 

After Athena finished Alexia, Gracie, Jane and Sarah all got up and rushed towards the medical room leaving the four shadows behind smiling or in Alex case scowling with arms crossed. 

As they entered the room and surrounded his bed, they were just in time to hear him groan 

"Owwww" 

"Mike are you ok?" Alexia asked. 

"No" Michael groaned. 

"Why what's wrong?" Jane asked. 

"I got shot." Michael answered still groaning. 

"Yeah, you did, and you looked very manly at the time." Sarah said with a smile. 

"My hero" Gracie said which made Michael slowly open his eyes and look at the four. 

"So, we both survived huh?" He asked weakly. 

"Yeah, it appears so." Gracie replied with a sad smile. 

"Would one of you please explain why neither of us is dead, where we are what that was all about and why do I remember hearing a birds cry." Michael asked 

They were about to answer his questions when him stating about hearing a bird's cry sunk in.
