CH: 4/Sports Festival

Kaida's POV...

The next day, Mr. Aizawa, class 1-a's homeroom teacher, announces that there will be a sports festival.

The class roars with cheers, "What's a sports festival?" I wonder out loud, which thankfully no one heard.

Months later, we are all dressed in our gym uniforms in a waiting room. After a little bit, we head out into a stadium filled with thousands of people.

Supposedly, all the classes at UA will be participating in the festival, which I found out is basically a chance to show off your skill and power to the world.

We all form up in front of a stage with our art teacher, Midnight, holding a microphone. She explains a few things and calls Bakugo onto the stage for the student pledge.

"This can only end well." I mutter. Bakugo steps up to the mic and says, "I just wanna say. I'm gonna win."

I nearly burst into laughter at his bold claim, considering that he lost to Zara in a frontal fight, and she is more of a stealth fighter.

It is then stated that the first round will be an obstacle course around the outside of the stadium. We all group up by the entrance and await the count down.

When the count reaches zero, everyone rushes towards the entrance. I rocket into the air and fly over everyone. I notice that Zara was already at the front, a few arcs of electricity flying off of her, 'She used her dash to get to the front. To be expected from her.' I then see Alex rocket past me with a jetpack on her back.

I smirk and flap my wings faster, quickly catching up to her, "Hey." I say as I pass her. I then use my wind magic to boost myself.

I hear the commentator, Present Mic, announcing that we have reached the first obstacle. I look down at the supposed obstacles and see them to be giant robots.

I scoff at the simplicity of the obstacle and just fly over them, Alex doing the same. I look back and see Zara dodge between them and continue to chase us.

Alex and I just fly over the second obstacle with Zara dashing to each pillar. I don't even know what the last obstacle was as me and Alex just flew over it.

Alex pulled a fast one on me and used a grappling hook to pull ahead of me, taking first place. I take second, with Zara taking third.

Izuku takes fourth, and I stop paying attention after that. The next round consists of something called a cavalry battle.

I go to team up with Zara and Alex, but am stopped by a dude with purple hair and eyebags, "Hey, can I ask you something?"

I tilt my head in confusion, "Ok, what is it-" For a split second, I feel my body become not my own, before coming back to my senses, "What did you just try and do?" I ask, angry.

He takes a step back in shock, "Ah, sorry, I'll go ask someone else." he says calmly. He goes over to Alex and gets the same response. He tries to go to Zara, but Alex stops him.

I walk over to Zara and Alex, "I'm sure you all know what I am about to ask, right?" They nod, "Good. I'll be the rider, since I can just carry you two into the air to avoid everyone."

They agree to my strategy. We go to get into formation, when the peppermint haired boy approaches us, "Allow me to join your team."

I look at the other two, them giving me approving looks, "Fine. Here's the plan." After discussing the plan, which to be honest isn't really a plan, the time to begin arrives.

We get into formation, with me on top as the rider. As soon as the battle begins, everyone rushes to us. I smirk and flap my wings, boosting myself with wind magic, shooting into the sky.

Everyone that was after us looks at us baffled, "What? Did you expect me to not fly up?" The rest of the battle was uneventful and ended anticlimactically, with my team winning first.

Moving on to the next round, the One-on-ones. The first fight would be between Izuku and the dude who tried to mind control me. The second fight would be between Sero and Todoroki. The third fight would be between Alex and this girl with vine for hair. The fourth fight would be Zara against the girl with all the gadgets. The fifth fight would be Mina against the flamboyant Frenchie.

After that would be me verses the bird boy, with the next one being Kirishima against a guy whose quirk is very similar. Then was a fight I don't think I could watch, with Uraraka verses Bakugo.

I wait in the stands for the fights to pass, with Izuku winning the first match, and Todoroki winning the second. Alex gets up from her seat and salutes me before going down to the stage.

On the battle stage... Alexandria's POV...

I step onto the stage and formulate a plan, 'If my hunch is correct, then that girl's hair is made of plant matter. Nothing a simple flamethrower or Molotov can't beat.' I raise my hand to ask a question.

"Yes?" Midnight asks, "Am I allowed to use any of my weapons in this fight?" Midnight checks with the judges before giving me an answer.

"As long as they are not lethal, then yes!" I smirk, 'This girl doesn't know what's about to hit her.' The fight starts, and I dodge out of the way of a vine aimed at restraining me.

I pull out a lighter, and a Molotov, before lighting it and tossing it at the poor plant lady. The Molotov hits near her, causing her to flinch away from it. I then activate my cloaking device and sneak around while she is distracted.

I get behind her and chop the back of her neck while uncloaking, "Easy."

"THE WINNER IS ALEXANDRIA!!!" I then walk off the stage as medical bots attend to the poor girl I knocked out.

"Now it's Zara's turn."

Zara's POV...

I walk down to the battle ground and prepare myself, 'My opponent is much more equipped than me, with what though, I don't know.'

I stand across from the pink haired girl. The match starts and I immediately rush her. To my surprise, she dodges out of the way of my punch and begins to ramble on about something. I try again and miss as she dodges. This cycle repeats and I get angrier as it goes on, before deciding to just end it with my voltaic powers.

I send out a shock wave, hitting her gear causing it to short circuit, "*Gasp!* My babies!" I take advantage of her shock and dash in front of her, delivering a frenzy powered punch to the gut.

"MEI HATSUME IS INCAPACITATED. ZARA WINS!" I then walk back to the stands to watch the fights.

Kaida's POV...

I watch the fight between Mina and the Frenchie, the pink haired girl winning in the end, 'I'm up next.'

I walk down to the field and look at my opponent, 'I already know how this is going to end, so why not make things interesting~'

"BEGIN!" I change my hands into dragon claws and rush the bird boy, who sends his shadow at me. I slash at the creature and dodge any attacks. I slowly make my way towards the origin of the shadow creature, and completely ignore it when I get close enough.

I change my left hand back to normal and grab my opponent by the neck, "Give up." I growl. He sighs and surrenders.

I release him and walk back to the stands, before being stopped by a large man with flames on him, "Can I help you?"
