The next morning, Ikiru woke up early, as he always did. He went down to the kitchen with Mikasa and waited for breakfast to be served by Levi. "I apologise for the other day. I had previously communicated my protocols to Mikasa, but as she knew, I was not clear about one protocol: 'Protocol five: if there is a risk of members revealing family secrets or clan secrets through members, the members concerned must be destroyed'. Because of this protocol, I implanted nanobots in Mikasa's body. As Mikasa knows, Kenny, Monica and Natsu Ackerman were destroyed in accordance with this protocol. However, since you are the last surviving members and your unwavering attitude allows me to make changes in the implementation of this protocol," Levi said, before continuing, Ikiru began to speak.

Another difference is that the psychic power is activated by skin-to-skin contact, not by diffusion," Ikiru said as he drank his second glass of tomato juice. So Ikiru's training began as before, though it was difficult for him to increase his proficiency in the 'Scan' ability. Unlike the Zone ability, this ability required more information processing. The area covered by the Zone was more like space awareness for Ikiru. He knew and sensed the structure, shape and energy mass of the objects within the zone, while 'Scan' gave him all the information about the target. When he used it on Mikasa, he was bombarded with information about her organs, biological structure, brain activity, eyelashes and the number of hairs she had.

Understanding this information was one thing. Processing and using this information was another. The knowledge required to process this information was another matter. Fortunately, Ikiru was well-trained. He was able to understand some of the data he had obtained. However, Ikiru felt a little frustrated. Every time he acquired new abilities, the amount of knowledge he had to learn increased. Even though his brain had more and more capacity thanks to his adaptation to his abilities, Ikiru now needed to relax.

A month after the 'scan' ability appeared, Levi finally presented Ikiru with some choices. While Levi was training Ikiru, he was also gathering information. Ikiru looked at the list and made a decision. A week later, Ikiru and Mikasa were camping in the forest of the Ackerman manor. Being ten kilometres away from the manor, they felt like they were in nature. Camping was something Ikiru was very interested in.

Even though he couldn't move around as much as he wanted, the huge forest of the manor was enough for camping. He had walked with Mikasa from the mansion to here. Surveying the area, and choosing a suitable place to set up camp. Chopping and collecting wood for a fire, and fishing was very calming. Of course, doing all this with Mikasa made him even happier. The spot they chose for camping was by the river with a beautiful view. They had decided not to use their Quirk to be suitable for camping. However, they were already cheating because of their bloodline power. They carried bags weighing hundreds of kilos to the camp. Although these bags were as light as a feather to them. Chopping and gathering wood did not tire them at all. Fishing calmed them down and making fire entertained them. It was fun to sleep in the middle of the forest, cuddled together. It was a breath of fresh air for them to leave their usual comfort zone.

"What do you think, Ikki?" Mikasa asked Ikiru, who was watching the fire. "I think about our future, Mika," said Ikiru. Mikasa smiled "You are too young for that, my love. Don't worry, everything will be fine," said Mikasa, hugging Ikiru lovingly. They shared body warmth in the chilling cold of the night. "I know, but I can't stop thinking about the war to come. The heroes will certainly fall short, as they always do. It's very possible that society will fall apart. Considering the greed and stupidity of people, it is difficult to take a position in the process... I don't know Mika, I just want to be happy with you," Ikiru said as he hugged Mikasa tighter.

Mikasa smiled and ran her hand through Ikiru's hair "Don't worry baby, we will always be together. Mummy will be with you through everything.
