Origin

Aurelius was born in 450 AD To most people, Aurelius was a normal boy. He spent his days going to school and helping around his house. He had caring parents and to the rest of the world it looked as if he cared for them too. To Aurelius's parents, he was their perfect child. He never acted out, and he would always do his best to complete anything they asked of him. To Aurelius himself, he was a god. You see, Aurelius has a secret, one that he never shared with anyone else. He couldn't die.

Now normally when one finds out that they're immortal, they show it off to the world. However, Aurelius had a plan. By observing the world around him, he has discovered that the most powerful people were those who had control over others. Now there are many ways to control other people, but with infinite time, he chose to become involved in politics.

There were a few problems with his plan. Mainly the fact that the Roman Empire fell apart. Aurelius's next idea was to travel the world, learning as much as he possibly could. He visited hundreds of kingdoms and dynasties, only stopping after 1,000 years. By that point, Aurelius was was one of the smartest people alive, maybe even the most intelligent. He was knowledgeable in mathematics and physics, knew lots of geography, and spoke over 200 languages. He was also incredibly well connected, with footholds in every part of the world he visited.

In the year 1620, Aurelius took the Mayflower to go to the "New World". He started exploring the new continents, documenting as much information as he could. He helped establish the American government around 150 years later, and helped the country gain independence. He orchestrated the civil war, sending the country in a new direction. He then left to travel the world once more, leaving traces of himself everywhere he went.

While he ignored the First World War, he happened to be on vacation during the second. Most people don't end wars for vacations, but the Nazis had invaded Poland while Aurelius was relaxing there. He traveled back to America under the guise of assisting with the Manhattan project. This is what caused Aurelius to change. The date was August 6, 1945. The day the first atomic bomb was dropped. Aurelius had been alive for 1,400 years, and he had never been scared once that entire time. Then he saw the explosion.

Everything was vaporized, there was nothing left. Aurelius did not fear prison, since they could never hold him forever. Aurelius did not fear execution, for no blade could end his life. Aurelius did not fear anything, for he could not die. But could he survive the bomb? It destroyed an entire city in an instant, leaving only ashes and radiation behind. No. It wasn't enough. He needed to be faster, stronger, and more resistant. He needed to improve himself.

Aurelius dove into genetic experiments, trying to figure out what made him almost unkillable. He found nothing. That was, until the year 2005. He managed to discover a substance he called the "Power Factor". It existed within other humans as well, but it was rare, and always inactive. He managed to extract it, and found it could be implanted within other organisms to modify their DNA. He published his findings in a study named "The dangers of the PF".

The study detailed how he managed to find the factor, and that it would instantly kill any organism it was expressed in. The study was considered pointless, as it seemed impossible for the factor to activate on its own. Aurelius managed to increase the PF within his DNA, making him more powerful. Finally, in the year 2023, Aurelius managed to create a machine that would change his body to infinitely produce more Power Factor. At the time, he lived in China, which was not always the safest place to live. The government had managed to discover what he was doing and wanted to steal his research for themselves.

As the army burst into his laboratory, Aurelius activated his security system. He was able to buy enough time to get inside of his machine, but he was unable to properly activate it. As soon as he started the modification process, he heard gunshots aimed at him. 'Guns can't kill me,' thought Aurelius, 'I'll finally become a true god.'

*BANG*

There was an explosion.

Everything turned white.

A baby was born.

It began to glow.

Aurelius vanished from time.

___

This should have been the end of Aurelius's story. A man who failed in his attempt to become a god. He was forgotten by people, overshadowed by the appearance of quirks. With powerhouses like Destro and All For One, prople began to forget about the man who truly ruled the world. The Immortal King. Aurelius was never mentioned again, until a man with the surname Shigiraki discovered the origin of quirks. He collected them, and he wanted to know where they came from. He found traces of Aurelius everywhere. Paintings from the Chinese dynasties, letters from different rulers, and even photos from the Second World War.

Fortunately for All For One, Aurelius seemed to be dead, probably killed during the emergence of quirks. He started taking over Japan, becoming the boogeyman of the underworld. He later came across a paper by Dr. Kyudai Garaki, which referenced Aurelius's study on the Power Factor. Garaki theorized that the PF was the same as the Quirk Factor, and that as it evolved, it would become too powerful for a human body to contain. Garaki was recruited by AFO, and ended up saving the man's life after his battle with All Might. He should have continued to be the world's best quirk scientist, but things don't always go according to plan.

All Might passed his quirk down, entrusting his title to a young boy named Izuku Midoriya. The boy took the hero name Deku, and became involved with the world of heroes, villains, and those inbetween. He survived an attack on his class. He showed the world his determination at a competition. The boy bested the Hero Killer with the help of his friends, and he even rescued his childhood friend/bully. All For One began a battle with All Might, who was fueled by the last embers of One for All. At the moment their fists collided for the first time, the world seemed to freeze. Aurelius had awoken.
