9 Chapter 9

~Second Week of April~

"Izuku did you pack some tissues?" asked a fussing Inko as Izuku was getting ready for the first day of U.A. High School.

"Yes, mom!" answered a slightly rushed Izuku Midoriya as he was putting on his Shoes.

"What about your Hanky? You can't leave without a Hanky dear!" continued his mother worried as she was probably more nervous than her son.

"Yes mom!" replied Izuku once again, "I packed it! Look at the time… I gotta hurry."

As he opened the door, Inko called out to him one more time.

"Izuku," said Inko once again.

"What…" asked a stressed Midoriya halting at the door.

"I'm proud of you. You're mega cool right now. Go out and show them all what you can do!" said Inko softly.

This put a bright smile on the stressed green-haired boy's face, visibly relaxing him. "See you soon Mom!" With a jaunty wave, he closed the door behind him to set off to his new school.

This was how Izuku Midoriya's High School days officially began.

~At U.A. bit later~

"1A… where is 1A?" muttered Izuku as he hurried through the massive complex that was the U.A. main campus while looking for the correct Classroom. "This place is so big."

With only 36 passed applicants through the public exam and 4 from the recommended one, there were only 40 Students in the Hero course, which makes just two hero classes. But there were three other Departments respectively being the Support, Business, and General departments, causing U.A. to have 11 classes per year overall. With hundreds of Students U.A. needed to be this big.

After a while, he finally managed to find the entrance to the 1-A Classroom, the class he was assigned to. A massive Door with 1-A painted on it in red letters. 'This Door is humungous, guess they are trying to be inclusive.'

"I'll be alongside the chosen few who passed the exam from thousands of applicants." Readying himself Izuku opened the Door while hoping he wasn't in the same class as Bakugo and the uptight square-shaped Student with glasses who definitely passed.

Only to be greeted by loud shouting from exactly both of them, 'Just my luck…'

"Don't put your legs on the desk! Don't you think that's disrespectful towards your classmates?" asked the teen with the glasses.

"No, as a matter of fact, I don't." spoke an even more familiarly irritating voice. Izuku clutched his Backpack straps as he peered into the room. "So which middle school are you from, extra?"

"A private sch- Ahem, I am from Soumei Junior High School. The name's Ilda Tenya." Introduced the now-named Tenya himself.

"Soumei, an fucking elite? Seems I've got a reason to end you after all." Threatened Bakugo with an aggressive grin, before he spotted Izuku at the entrance and began glaring balefully.

"A reason to end me…" muttered Tenya shocked, "What nerve. You want to be a hero?" Before he realized Bakugo wasn't paying attention to him anymore as he followed his gaze spotting Izuku who decided to enter the Room.

"Hello, I am Ilda Tenya from Soum-" approached Tenya the green-haired newcomer.

"Yeah, I know. Couldn't help but overhear." He replied awkwardly, "I am Izuku Midoriya from Aldera Junior High."

"Midoriya… I must hand it to you." Continued Tenya, "You were able to guess the true purpose of the entrance exam. I completely misread you."

"Huh, not really. I just did what I felt was right. Though I was wondering what the purpose of the Zero Pointer was." Replied Izuku honestly. Now feeling the gaze of everyone in the almost completely filled Classroom.

"You did what you felt was right…"muttered Tenya as he was even more shocked now.

This was the moment the big door once again opened and a familiar face with Auburn brow hair entered the Classroom, "Oh, it's you Izuku! Glad you also made it to 1-A."

"Hey, Uraraka. So we are in the same Class." Greeted Izuku, 'She looks amazing in her Uniform.'

"Present Mic was right that I didn't have to worry about costing you one of the top spots. You even took the first place." She gushed as Izuku could feel a particular burning gaze at the back of his head.

"Deku…" muttered Bakugo angry as he remembered their interaction at the end of last School year.

~Flashback~

Both of the were in the Principal's office. "…And Midoriya's Acceptance in particular is a miracle of miracles." Droned the old Principal as he was happy that two Students from his School got accepted into U.A. High.

But what happened next was shocking to the explosive teen, the green-haired normally always scared and nervous boy actually had the balls to talk back. "Not really a miracle, you and the Teachers here are just unqualified for your occupation."

He wasn't the only one shocked by that reply, as the now red-faced Principal now began to talk back. "Mr. Midoriya, I would be careful what you are talking about. Although you won't be a Student for long here anymore, I am still able to add your disrespectful behavior to your records."

"No, it isn't me who has to be careful. I wonder what would happen to this school if I report years of looking away from bullying and Quirk bias to the authorities? After all, I am an upstanding Student of U.A. High and a future Hero." replied Deku with a dangerous glint in his eyes. "Hopefully I won't hear any rumors of something like this happening here in the future."

After that confrontation, the Teachers avoided Deku as much as they could for the remaining time. Still shocked by what he heard, he actually forgot to confront fucking that Quirkless loser about how he managed to snatch the first place in the entrance exam from him.

~Flashback end~

While Izuku was chatting with Uraraka, he spotted a caterpillar behind her laying on the floor in front of the door. Well, it is a man in a sleeping bag. "If you're hunting for buddies do it elsewhere." Came the tired voice of the man.

"This is the Department…" he said as a juice pack appeared in his mouth, sucking it empty, "of heroics!"

'Who the hell is this guy?' thought Izuku, 'A Teacher!? Then he must be Hero since all Hero Course Instructors are Pro Heros. But I don't recognize him.'

"Hmm, it took you 8 seconds to quiet down." Said the long dark-haired man, who resembled more a hobo than a Hero as he stepped out of his sleeping bag. "Life is short, kids! You are all lacking common sense."

"He must be a pro…" muttered Izuku as he was thinking about their new teacher's identity, 'An Underground Hero… that's why he is so hard to identify-'

"I am your Homeroom teacher, Aizawa Shouta." Introduced their Teacher himself as he pulled something out of his bag, "Put these on, immediately. And then shove off to the P.E. grounds. You have 10 minutes." He ordered as he showed off a U.A. sports Uniform in his hand.

This cause the whole class to hurry to the changing rooms to get ready for their first class.
