Ch 17 – Shadow

'Fast, I need to go faster, the time is left is only 6 minutes and the estimated time to reach her school is 2 minutes max, and if I take this route here, I will reach my school in 3 minutes leaving me 2 minutes left to reach the opening program for newcomers. But if I make a transportational device on my way it would only take me 1 minute to reach the school. Okay, I need to gather materials on the way so probably rocks and a piece of wood' thought by Jinwoo in an instant while nearing the pavement of rocks on the way.

'Okay, there are some great rocks, wait, those four there are great' thought by Jinwoo as he tosses a coin he took out of his pocket and threw it to the rocks which are nearly a perfect circle. The coin hit one which ricochets to the other desired rocks and then shot back to him who was now away from his previous location.

The rocks accurately shot back to his pockets and then Jinwoo rush to Jinah's school.

"What was that oppa! I saw you throwing something, are you using your quirk again" said by Jinah who was on Jinwoo's back

"Yes, don't worry, Im just making something" responded back by Jinwoo while huffing for a bit.

'There, a plank of wood which is strong enough to hold both of our weights' thought by Jinwoo as he saw the plank of wood on the roadside and rush to it and kick it up wards while tossing the near perfect circle rocks on the ground which made them role forward perfectly catching the plank of wood making a makeshift skateboard.

Jinwoo instantly road the skateboard and his speed increase immensely and was able to reach Jinah's school in a minute.

"Oppa! This is dangerous" shouted by Jinah as she saw what Jinwoo made while on his back which was quite unsteady.

"Don't worry Jinah! This is the path to victory!" said by Jinwoo as he made a v sign to her sister with his fingers.

Then they rush to Jinah's school at immense at but safe speeds and reach her school in a minute

"Goodbye Jinah! Work hard in school okay!" shouted by Jinwoo to Jinah who he left at the entrance of her school.

"Goodbye oppa! Yes, I will work hard at school! Also don't be reckless like that again" responded back by Jinah to Jinwoo who was preparing to leave.

"Yes yes!" shouted by Jinwoo who was already far away.

'Wooh, now I only need to reach Seoul High and I'm safe, I have 5 minutes left so no risk' thought by Jinwoo as he slowed down the skateboard a bit.

'Who would have thought that there may be a chance that Korea is going to be drastically change from my predictions, meh, there were already hints of that considering the quirk of the number one hero in South Korea. There are very little things that could pose a threat to me anyway so that doesn't matter. Now I only need to continue my experiments here regarding Universal Laws and continue mastering this quirk' thought by Jinwoo as he took out some cards from his pocket.

The card that he took out was a card that was the king of spades. He then threw it very far away that it vanishes from his view.

He ignored that and continued going to Seoul High at a very fast pace.

But he then encountered a very beautiful girl that seems like her cat is stuck in a tree. She seems to be a student like him in Seoul High and decided to experiment more on the subject he was researching and pick up a rock on the road and threw it to the wall besides him and it ricochet to the branch of the tree and made the cat fall but the rock hit a pillow from a store besides them and made it fly to where the cat will fall.

'Another success, I could already do this and imagine what I could do with quirk enhancing quirks and make my quirk vastly stronger' thought by Jinwoo as he rushes away from the scene without the girl being able to see him.

After a while he reaches the school with time to spare and entered the auditorium where the opening ceremony is held.

After entering it, he found the place pack with students of varying appearance, some have scaly skin, some were glowing and more strange and exotic people appeared.

Then he heard someone calling him from behind.

"Jinwoo! I haven't seen you for 2 months. I thought you died if you haven't talk to me digitally" said by a person with an above average face, a very fit body but not as athletic as Jinwoo's, having blond hair and glamorous objects surrounding his body but also having a sword at his waist, he appears like a typical rich person that is friends with the protagonist.

"Oh, Jinho. Yeah, I was just at home and only going out occasionally in the summer break. You know me, I'm like that" said by Jinwoo as he went to high five Jinho.

"Well not like you, I was going out and did some fun stuff" said by Jinho while showing pictures of him to Jinwoo doing some very fun activities like being in the beach, being in Japan and other stuff.

"Yeah yeah yeah, not like you, I am not rich and instead rely on my own money" said by Jinwoo condescendingly

"Yeah, that's fair, well then let's get our seats unless we are left here standing" said by Jinho as they started looking for vacant seats in the very big auditorium.

"Oh look, over there, there are three vacant seats. Let's take those two" said by Jinwoo as he dragged Jinho over the two seats he found.

"Sorry, coming through, excuse me, sorry, uwahh, finally reach it" said by Jinwoo finally reaching the seats that they found.

"Wooh, that was hard, but ay maximum comfort" said by Jinho as he hurriredly sat down and started melting into the seat.

Then they started to get comfy as they took out some water and snacks and waited.

"Did you hear, the number one hero of South Korea is going to be a teacher in this school, do you think its true" said by Jinho excitedly.

"I don't know, I never bothered with those things" said by Jinwoo.

"Oh, there you go again, don't know this, don't know that, you don't watch anime, you don't watch the news, you don't use social media except mytube and that vtuber you watch in JAPANESE, when did you even learn Japanese, is it with your quirk?" said by Jinho in annoyance and confusion on how his friend know Japanese.

"Don't worry about it, look the ceremony is about to start" said by Jinwoo ignoring his friend's question.

Then the lights suddenly went down and it focus on the center of the theater and then shadows started appearing in the middle.

Then the whole auditorium started to be covered by the many hush voices of the students inside it when the shadows appeared.

"Oh my god, he really is going to be a teacher" said by Jinho in a hust tone to Jinwoo excitedly.

But Jinwoo just look at it in interest while thinking about some stuff.

"There you go again, not caring about this stuff, come on, he is the number one hero for gods sake" said by Jinho in annoyance.

"Yes yes yes, I am shock, now look it's about to be revealed" said by Jinwoo

The shadows started taking in a physical form and the shadows became the silhouette of a person and then they parted away.

What appeared was a person covered in a black cloak with the ends seemingly blending into the shadow, with shadows flickering throughout his whole body, he appears like he was in flame.

With the shadow covering the person's whole body even his face, the number one of South Korea appeared.

"Kyahh!!! It's the number one hero of South Korea, Shadow Monarch!" shouted by many in the auditorium, especially the girls.

AN: So why the fuck did he help the girl, easy, its for the mysterious experiment called Operation [REDACTED].
