Chapter 6 - Family

Kaito looked at the tracker then at Midoriya, He walked up to him and took his hand to Midoriya's shock, He sees his finger and sighed "..so this is why I couldn't leave early.."

Midoriya stared in confusion as he took his hand back, Kaito took his water bottle and open it, He made a pulling motion as water was pulled out of the bottle and water wrapped around his hand as Midoriya watched, Kaito wrapped Midoriya's finger around with water as the water glowed, Midoriya felt his finger feel as good as new as the water dissapeared and sees his finger fully healed "Incredible.. I've never seen a healing quirk this effective before.. Thank you"

"Deku.." Midoriya and Kaito look at an angry blonde student as he charged at them "Your going to explain now, damn Deku!!" Bakugou charged at Midoriya and Kaito, Aizawa was about to do something about him but Kaito pulled more water out of his water bottle and made water chains out of them, binding Bakugo as he falls to the grown, unable to move as the chains froze and became ice chains

".. Bakugo Katsuki, Quirk Explosions.. it allows the user to excrete nitroglycerin-like sweat from their palms and ignite it at will to create explosions of various sizes.." Kaito said as he walked over to him

"How the hell do you know that?!" Bakugo said as he tried to get out of the ice, noticing that he doesn't have enough sweat to make his explosions

"..your weakness is the cold.. your nitroglycerin-like sweat requires a slightly longer time to detonate.. as opposed to warm weather.. where conditions are optimal for ignition.. I learned all this from my evaluation.. You have flaws.. all of you do.. no one's perfect after all.." Kaito said as he made a pulling motion as the ice became water again and went back to Kaito's water bottle

"He's correct, We all have flaws, That's exactly why Principal Nezu didn't allow Kaito to participate in this test, He's here to help evaluate and figure out those flaws so we can cover them" Aizawa continued speaking as Kaito went to Midoriya

"..I suggest spreading your quirk output throughout your body.. start at 1% then slowly add 1 to that persentage.. It's useless if you continue damaging your body like this.. you'll become paralyzed if you do.. sorry if my words are harsh but it's the truth.." Kaito said as Midoriya thought of it, Thinking that it makes sense as he started mumbling as Kaito reprimanded him about it, He apologized for it as Aizawa told them to go home

"..well.. see you.." Kaito said as he walked away from his class first, Wanting to go home

Everyone followed to change back into their uniforms, Midoriya was looking for Kaito, Wanting to thank him for the advice on his quirk as he bumped into Uraraka and Iida, Midoriya told them and they decided to help, They decided to see if Kaito was about to go home, and they saw him by the gate, Waiting for someone, They walked up to him and was about to call for him but someone else called for him

"Big Bro!"

Midoriya, Uraraka and Iida saw 5 kids running up to him

"Brother!! Look, look, lookie! I'm walking like normal!" Justin said as he shows his metal leg and walking and running for the first time without his walking stick that Kaito made

"..I can see Justin, Have you four been good with Miss Shino..?" Kaito asked as he crouched down and patted their heads

"Before that let's go somewhere else, To the mall!" Shiba said as he and the kids started walking in a line, holding hands as they started walking, Kaito said that he'll follow later and that he has to do something first

Kaito got up and said "..you three can come out now.." Kaito said as he looked to see Midoriya, Uraraka and Iida, listening in on their conversation "..it's rude to eavesdrop on someone else's conversation.."

The three apologized for eavesdropping, saying that it was an accident "I- I'm sorry Izumi-kun, I wanted to thank you for the advice earlier and I-"

Kaito interrupted him "..it's fine.. I can guess what happened next.. is there anything else you wanted..?" Kaito said as the Uraraka spoke "Actually.. I was wondering.. are they actually your siblings.. they don't look like you..?"

"..do we have to look like each other to be family..?" Kaito said as Uraraka was about to answer but was interrupted by Kaito

"..family is the people who loves you.. the people who make you happy.. the people who you want to protect.. we're not related by blood but it's our bonds that kept us together.. no matter how far or how different we are.. we chose to be a family.. we chose to stay with each other.. and I think that's what the most important thing should be about.."

Kaito said as Midoriya, Uraraka and Iida thought of it, They understood that Kaito didn't care about biological bonds or familial relations, He chose to take them as his family and he didn't care about anything else

"..If that's all I'm going now.. I'd like to catch up with my family.." Kaito said as he walked away, Uraraka felt bad that he questioned his family without even thinking about how Kaito felt about them, She told Midoriya and Iida and they said to apologize tomorrow at school, Uraraka nodded as they went their separate ways going home

It was now the next day, Everyone but Aizawa and Kaito were in class, Uraraka was nervous, thinking Kaito was mad at her for yesterday and really wanted to apologize while Midoriya and Iida were trying to calm her down, saying that he won't be mad about it as Kaito opened the door and walked in, He was about to walk to his seat but Uraraka walked up to him with Midoriya and Iida following her

"Izumi-kun, I- Uh.." Uraraka was nervous as Kaito spoke "..if this is about yesterday it's fine.. I don't mind really.. now we should sit down I saw Aizawa-sensei coming right about now.." Kaito said as Uraraka smiled and Midoriya, Uraraka and Iida went back to their seats, Kaito opened his bag and placed a bottle of iced coffee on Aizawa's table as he went to his seat as Aizawa walked in and started class, drinking the bottle of coffee for energy whenever he felt tired
