Chapter 10

Time passed by, the caretaker decided to buy clothes for himiko, but in return akuma needs to work for the orphanage such as cleaning, cooking, and other things to help the caretaker. Which is a fair trade for him, since he is the one who pushed himiko here.

"You better do your job" the old lady said looking back at him then went upstairs.

"Thank you so much!" He responded to the old lady then look at himiko with a bright smile. She started tearing up as the people here are accepting her and seems to not be despising her.

"Himiko-chan! Stop crying! Here, here!" He said while he rubs her tiny back trying to calm her down. She grip his shirt while she started crying.

"Thank you so much, akuma kun!" She said as she doesn't need to worry about her parents.

'This is only the start, her parents might look for her and accuse the orphanage for kidnapping' he thought then decided to go there and inform them that they will start taking care of himiko. He is still not sure if they will agree to this, but his only choice is to be straightforward. If they disagree he has no choice, but to give himiko back since they don't have any proof of abusive parenting. Well they are not abusing her like hitting her as he knows, but he knows that they are teaching her wrongly. Instead of helping her slowly they decided to be lazy and keep shoving her what is normal. They didn't even try to go to the doctor to check on her quirk and how they can resolve the side effect of it.

"Do you want to go see our room?" He said while looking at her face directly, she nodded then smiled.

"I'm gonna go guide her around the orphanage" he said then left with himiko. The other choldren watch this occur and found akuma to be a good person and changed their opinion on him. They thought of him as a snob at first, since he would only read books, run around like a maniac, eat, and sleep.

"This is my bed, himiko-chans room is gonna be on the girls room" he said then guides her to the room for girls.

"I want to sleep with akuma-kun!" She said while pulling on his shirt, he pats her head then shook his head.

'If only I have the money I would buy a house for us and leave this orphanage together' he thought while he looks at her with a warm eyes.

"I can sneak inside your bed if you want..." he said while he rubs her head.

"Your promise?" She asks him while putting her pinky finger out, he giggled at her then nodded as he found her cute.

"Un! I promise" he said then used his pinky finger to tie with her pinky finger.

"Hou! What are you planning?" Suddenly a sharp voice came from behind him, he looks over and saw one of the caretaker looking at him with an angry expression.

"I-I" he stuttered as he try to find an excuse or a lie. She pats his head then smile at him with a thumbs up.

"Don't worry, I won't tell anyone" she said then left the room.

Time passed, akuma helped with the cleaning, the cooking, basically everything while himiko keeps following him which he found cute. She kept asking if he is finish yet and wants to play with her.

Right now, he is sitting down while himiko is sitting on his lap they just finished eating so they decided to relax. They are reading a book together out loud happily, but as time passed by they started to feel sleepy.

Dozing off by the wall next to the book shelf, the other children looks at the two and smiled evilly.

"Hehehe" they giggled while they started to unsheathed their sword.

"There, hehehe" they all giggled while they started to draw on their faces with their sword.

"Here, too! draw it like this!"

"When they wake up don't tell them, okay?" They said then went back to doing their own thing.

Soon they both woke up, as they woke up they look over to the children as they kept giggling. Looking at the situation he knew what they had done, so he went towards the bathroom with himiko and saw their faces full of drawings and funny faces. Someone draw a huge cock in the middle of his face and nose.

"Hey! Who did this?!" He asks angrily as he look at himiko with ink on her face, well he is fine with himself but as soon as he saw himiko's face he got irritated.

"Uhmm... we didn't, pfft! Hahahaa don't look this way, I'm laughing so hard!" They said while looking at his face.

"W-wait, why are you getting closer?" The guy said while looking at akuma's evil grin as he pulled out his own sword.

A/n: I'm just kidding with the sword its a magic pen.

"N-no! Wait! AAAAAHHH!" They yelled as they started to get inks all over their faces.

*sniff! *sniff!

"Hehehe, that's satisfying. Let's go wash our face himiko" he said while she pull her back towards the bathroom.

"Hehehe, akuma-kuns face is interesting as well!" She said while looking at his face.

"Is that so? How about this?" He said then made his face to look weirder, she started laughing happily while looking at him.

"Go and take a bath! The bath is already hot. Girls first before boys." the caretaker yelled, himiko looks at hideo with confusion. The other children answered by yelling 'yes!'

"It's bath time himiko. Go and take a bath with the other girls" he said then catch her after she jump down from the stool.

"Can't I take a bath with you?" She asks him, he shook his head then put his hand on her shoulder.

"You have to befriend them, okay? You are not alone anymore." He said then kissed her on the forehead.

"Okay, I understand!" She said in agreement then followed the other girls.

After a while himiko left the bathroom while talking tot he other girls. Looking at this he was happy for her that she is befriending them.

"Akuma-kun!" She yelled his name as soon as she saw him, she runs up to him then hugged him.

"Thank you..." she whispered, since she is happy that she met akuma.

"Un!" He said then pats her head.
