Chapter 5: UA Entrance Exam (End)

"Hmm, that kid with the black hair." Ectoplasm pointed at one of the screens. "He's showing amazing combat abilities."

Nezu also glanced at the same screen. "Oh, he is. He is also showing amazing speed. He's saving the troubled examinees and destroying the faux villains simultaneously."

Allmight darts his eyes at the teenager on screen. The teachers were also curious and watched the teenager.

He moved with great speed, saving many of the examinees. Plus he showed amazing combat abilities.

"Eh, he only used his index finger?" Midnight commented. 

With just a touch of his index finger, the faux villain was sent flying to the walls. He was surrounded by ten faux villains, one of them managed to get closer to him planting a heavy punch.

But instead of hitting him, the faux villain's punch couldn't move its hand as if it was hitting a wall. He snapped his fingers and the faux villain flew with great force.

"What kind of quirk is that?" Midnight asked.

"It's a shockwave quirk, but enhanced. The boy registered his quirk to be called Crush. His name Kazuki Uchiku. He already has oh my." Nezu was quite shocked seeing the boy's points. "He already has over 160 villain points and over 140 rescue points. And it looks like he is still at it."

The teachers watched the boy continue destroying faux villains, from easy to hard villains. He looked like a killing machine.

'I think I gathered enough right?' Kazuki thought as he glanced at all the destroyed faux villains surrounding him. 'Yeah, I think I have enough to reach first place.'

Kazuki heard a huge mechanical sound. But he just left it be. It was Midoriya's time to shine. Meanwhile, Kazuki continued to save the others, earning him more rescue points.

After a few moments, a huge explosion resounded in the battle center. 'It's over.' Kazuki knew that they could take care of it. Kazuki walked to see Midoriya lying flat on the ground.

'Main character plot armor.' Kazuki sighed, he turned around and started to walk away from the crowd. He walked through the huge gates. 'I want to go home.'

Kazuki sat inside the bus, this was their service back to the main building. Although he missed home, he had to stay a little while for the results.

After the whole entrance exam, Kazuki entered his hotel room and slept the rest of the day. After that, three days passed. Kazuki who was sitting inside his hotel held the envelope and opened it.

Allmight showcased on the screen and started explaining that the hero course wasn't all about defeating villains, they had also secretly added rescue points to those students who saved the other examinees.

Kazuki smiled and turned on his phone, he immediately called his parents.

"Mom! Big brother called!" Hinata held the phone and gave it to Akane.

"Did Kazuki call?" Furui rushed and immediately grabbed the phone from his wife's grasp. They were on FaceTime. "Kazuki how did it go?" Furui asked.

"Well, I got in," Kazuki said showing off a confident smirk. "I told you, didn't I? You don't have to worry."

"K-Kazuki you did it! I'm so proud of you son!" Furui gave the phone to Akane as he wiped his tears.

Kazuki rolled his eyes.

Meanwhile inside the teachers at UA were conversing with one another, assessing each student's capabilities.

The results were out. The first place was, Kazuki Uchiku. 170 villain points, and 160 rescue points. He took the scoreboard by a tsunami. 

"He has an amazing understanding of his quirk. I never met anyone with a shockwave quirk utilizing it to defend itself. It just shows how knowledgeable he is." Midnight said.

"He is also fifth in the written exam. It seems like a power rookie has emerged." Ectoplasm added.

The teachers replayed the videos of each student. 

Meanwhile, Aizawa stood at the corner watching the scene of Midoriya with his hand broken. 'It's like he's a young child whose quirk just manifested.'

Meanwhile, Bakugo who had received the letter from Allmight glared seeing his name in second place. "Kazuki Uchiku a mere extra." Bakugo said, his eyes bloodshot.

Kazuki went home. As soon as he came home, his father hugged him. 

"You did it, son! I'm so proud of you." Furui said. "You are now admitted to UA, this brings me so much joy!"

Akane who was standing at the corner smiled. "You did an amazing job Kazuki."

"So cool big brother!" Hinata said with a thumbs up.

"Yeah, took first place," Kazuki said.

"F-First place?" Furui had his mouth wide open. "You took first place? W-Why didn't you tell me this when we were on FaceTime? I think I'm going to have a heart attack."

"You're being overly dramatic Dad," Hinata said.

"Overly dramatic? Your big brother took first place, that means out of all the thousands of examinees he outstands them all!" Furui waved his hand frantically.

Akane ignored Furui's explanation. "Kazuki I made your favorite curry." 

"Thank Mom. I'm starving." Kazuki entered the house. He sat at the dining table and began eating.

"We are proud of you Kazuki," Yuka said and continued handing Kazuki meat on his plate. "Unlike your useless father, you are on your path to becoming a hero. Here eat more meat."

"Thank you, Grandma," Kazuki said and continued eating.

After dinner, Kazuki sat in the garden watching the stars.

"Kazuki?" Akane walked closer and sat beside him. "You took your first step of becoming a hero. But Kazuki, promise me that you'll always put yourself in safety." 

Many heroes sacrificed their lives to save others. But if they were the ones in danger who would save them?

Although it was quite selfish, Akane wished that if there was ever a time when her child put his life on the line. Akane would want his son to choose his life, rather than saving civilians.

She was a mother, she didn't want to lose a child.

Kazuki nodded his head in response. "Don't worry Mom, I'll put myself first." 

"Good." Akane rested her head on Kazuki's shoulder.
