Chapter 6: Envelopes & Training

I opened my eyes, and the sun flash-banged me. What a great way to start the morning! I began to recall all of the events from yesterday; I took the Yuuei Exam, passed out, met Recovery Girl, had a weird encounter on the subway train, and met Ninomae Ina'nis.

Wait a moment! I had in my earbuds on the train, where are they? I began to check my pockets, but I found nothing. Did that blonde-haired girl rob me?! Are you fucking kidding me! Whatever, they weren't my good ones. Those earbuds were my wired pair!

If I remember correctly, it took about a week for Midoriya to get his acceptance letter. So for the next week, I'll train and visit my parents. 

Since it was morning, I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. It only took a couple of minutes, and I took mouthwash after. After brushing my teeth and taking mouthwash, I went to the kitchen. It seemed my Grandma and Hana were still asleep. I took the juice out of the fridge. After making sure it wasn't orange juice. I chugged it.

I left a note on the fridge before heading out.

I decided to go to where I trained for the past eight months. I trained in two places: an abandoned warehouse and a forest. I used the forest for Shinra's Fire Mobility Technique. 

I dodged and weaved through trees. In return, my precision and control of my flames increased since I needed to avoid burning down the forest.

As for the warehouse, I used it for other types of training. For example, I controlled the temperature of my flames, making fire cages, increasing the temperature of my flames, and gaining control over Sukuna's fire technique.

Soon enough, I arrived at the warehouse. 

Now that I think about it, I had a quest to place #1 in the Practical Exam. There were some rewards from the quest. 

"Quests," I mumbled quietly. 

Immediately after saying that, the translucent black screen appeared before me.

The shop has many interesting items and quirks, for example, weapons like Excalibur, Death Note, Avalon, Chastiefol, and Murasame. There are also quirks like Hyper Regeneration, Air, Bloodletting, Void, and Portal.

I had a limit of 2400 P currently. If I had 100 more points, I would have got Death Note. I decided I would buy Rengoku's Nichirin Sword and Pain Blocker. These purchases will leave me with 900 P. 

An explanation for my choices: the Nichirin Sword is excellent for channeling my fire through. It will let me pull off more moves, and my fire won't melt it. 

Pain Blocker is amazing! It allowed me to use my quirk without worrying about pain, and if I ever get injured, I won't have to worry about pain getting in the way. Sure, it removes part of the flaws of being human, but beggars can't be choosers. I don't want to deal with having a limb being decayed or worse.

Once I purchased them, the Nichirin Sword appeared in front of me. But for the Pain Blocker Quirk, I couldn't tell. I need to injure myself.

Once I grabbed the Nichirin Sword, it changed colors. The blade turned to light blue while the handles were white and blue. My Nichirin Sword looked similar to Muichiro Tokito's Nichirin Sword, just without the black.

I used the Nichirin Sword to cut my finger, I saw blood, but I felt no pain. However, it felt weird to cut a finger and see blood but feel nothing. 

Now it was time for the gacha! I moved towards the Gacha section, and nervousness filled me.

The only real good was the 900 P, bringing me up to 1800 points. Seeing that, I immediately went back to the shop. I decided it'd be smart for me to buy Hyper Regeneration and Memory Database. Hyper Regeneration would help me not lose a limb, and Memory Database because it'd help me remember everything.

After getting these new items and quirks. I decided to push myself and raise my quirks temperature limit. I trained for hours, and steam kept coming off my body. The room felt like a furnace, and smoke completely blocked your vision.

I was exhausted. After using my Cremation for too long, I ran out of energy. Because I couldn't feel pain now, I couldn't tell if I had an injury inside or outside my body until I noticed it.

"Status," I said with no hesitation.

I could only have this many quirks thanks to the system. I would need more quirks to compete with characters like Multiple Quirk Midoryia, All For One, Nine, and Multiple Quirk Shigaraki, but this is a good start.

I proceeded to gather all of my items. I placed my Nichirin Blade into storage. I decided to visit my parents, who were still comatose in the hospital. 

And so, I continued living, training, and working on my quirk. The week of waiting passed by so quickly.

Hana came running into my room frantically, not knocking and began speaking.

"WHATS POPPIN, NEW LETTER JUST DROPPED, YOU DON'T GET OPTIONS, IF YOU DON"T TAKE IT, I'LL DROP YOU LIKE STOCKTON," Hana screamed, referencing an aged old song in this world. I'd call that classical.

"Okay, give it here," I asked her, my face turned to stone. 

Hana handed the envelope over to me. I proceeded to open the envelope like a normal person. As I peeled the folding piece up, I took out the letter. After I took out the letter, I saw a metal disk. I proceeded to take out the metal disk, and I turned the envelope around. I realized it was from Yuuei. 

I put the metal disk and the paper on my table, and the metal disk projected something. The person I was expecting to be on the projection appeared.

All Might!

"I am here as a PROJECTION!" All Might's face appeared close up on the 'screen.'

"I have recently obtained a job at Yuuei! So, I AM HERE to tell you your examination results!" All Might exclaimed, doing goofy poses, getting a chuckle from my sister.

"Congrats, Young Trevor! You've passed Yuuei's examination. Not only did you pass the written exam, you set a new record for Yuuei's Exam. You even beat my record from when I was a young fledgling." All Might shined brightly. My sister looked at him with stars. It seemed All Might had another fan.

"On the paper you've received in the envelope, it will tell you the top ten in the rankings for this school year." All Might exclaimed while pointing down. I looked down at the letter I had received and opened it. It had a formal greeting, and I saw the placement ranking.

I knew this since my quest for placing number one had given me my rewards. But, it still feels great to see that number one placement,

"You have a lot of potential and a very bright future ahead of you, Young Tevor. With that being said, I will be waiting for you here in Yuuei!" All Might explained.

"Until then, go plus ultra, for this is your hero academia!" All Might continued, his grin shining brightly. His grin was contagious, I couldn't help myself from smiling.

Hana came from behind me, hugged me, and congratulated me. Later that night, we celebrated this occasion. 

I had only realized this, but my heroic journey had only just begun. And now, my dream high school life was only just about to begin. Until I remembered the League of Villains-
