U.A Sports Festival! (3) Maze?

The revelation of All Might's son had caused a huge ruckus on the stands, so much so that many from the stands wanted to visit Oki for autographs and photographs, and this also included pro's. This was something Oki had expected as the hero name 'All Might' stands near to a god to many people, and Oki was the son of the god in their eyes.

Though almost most of the stadium was in chaos, already hired pro heroes were put to work. They stopped audiences from entering the ground. Oki managed to give a heartwarming smile to the stands, and it was something that melted the hearts of many women and teens.

'The time is now.' Oki mumbled, and as he looked at his watch that appeared out of nowhere and disappeared.

At the same time, worldwide in many countries, many companies, plots, and natural resources were being bought under the name of 'Oki Takemikazuchi'.

Back at U.A-, Cheers were all around, and many people were curious about Oki.

"WOOOAAhhh, we have our second student who completed the obstacle COURSEEEeeeee!"

The crowd who had calmed down immediately saw who it was.

"THE Second PlaCE is TAKEN by IZUKU MIDORIYA!!!"

The crowd didn't see how Midoriya reached second, and as for this Present, Mic replayed how Midoriya did. It was the same way how he did in canon.

Followed by Todoroki and Bakugo, the places start to fill up.

At the teacher's spectator room->

"I see that young Oki has already become the wind of the town." All Might said as he saw the crowds who were engrossed in him.

"I know, and I thought many people would be sad as the Symbol Of Peace's son was a quirkless, but it seems like people are even more attracted to him." Power Lodder said, nodding his head. 'Also, isn't it supposed to be the talk of the town?'

"It is all but temporary." Nezu picked up his usual magic tea. "And he knows that as well, and to not make the temporary be temporary Oki has to win the tournament, and as we know that the last match would be duels and without his suit, Oki would be having hard time-fighting quirks like 1-A's Todoroki or 1-B's Ibara's."

All Might hearing this was kind of sad as he knew that the first place in the first part of the tournament would always be made to be targeted by others in the second part. 'At least Midoriya and Oki placed top 2 and 1. I should be proud of this.'

All Might looking at other 1-A students felt heartwarming. 'This sports festival is where everyone aims for the top, even that means defeating your friends and classmates, and for professional heroes, popularity plays a huge part in their careers.'

'So they have to want to be the best... it's a bloodthirsty world. At your core, you want to help others. That is why I choose you both Young Oki and Midoriya.'

'But, in all honesty... I always thought your selfness could be your weaknesses.'

'Turns out I was worried over nothing. You both are fighters.'

All Might glances at Midoriya, who has become a fountain.

'Still, young Midoriya, cool down with the waterworks.'

A few meters away from the teacher's spectating room-

"This is interesting..." A boy with round specs said, and his expression didn't betray the words.

"I think it's obvious that Takemikazuchi's stock is about to go up." Another one said.

"Not so fast, he is still an unknown since he doesn't have a quirk, and also, he did show that he has a high calculative front." A boy with blonde hair combed in a unique hairstyle said.

"Imagine for a second if an agency was to take him on. How could someone market it up if a person has no quirk?" The boy with specs said, which made the other two think.

"They definitely had their work cut out, and also, All Might's name is behind him." The one with a unique hairstyle said

"Well, he does have a top-class appearance, unlike the second place Midoriya... and also Takemikazuchi and Midoriya skills put out in extreme artistic ways they put out under pressure." The one in-between continued.

All Might's lips twitch hearing the three business course students talking. *sigh*

"Bussiness course students, somethings never change."

On the other side of the ground->

*Heavy breathing*

"Takemikazuchi and De *huff* ku." Bakugo looks at his palms, "No way... not again."

"The ContesTAnts are here one after THE OTHER! Let's hear some applause for them one more time!" Present Mic's commentary was still flowing out.

A few meters away->

Todoroki clenched his right fist and looking at his left hand. 'I can beat Takemikzuchi without the need of 'his' power. I will win the tournament to prove that I am better with my right ride!'

'Oki... always ahead of everyone, someone I started respecting next to my brother. Strong... confident... heartwarming aura... and ruthlessness... these were things that attracted me towards him...' Iida looked at the Oki, who was waving at the crowd. 'And a goal I want to surpass, though it would be funny this coming from a person who possessing a quirk.'

Momo Yayorozu P.O.V-

Takemikazuchi Oki, father told me that he might have a quirk that somehow increases one intelligence or understanding, but after several occurrences, I have come to the conclusion that it could be something of a calculative quirk or something similiar... even after he declared himself as quirkless to the whole class... but, now it is revealed that he really is quirkless.

I took a deep breath and saw Oki waving at everyone.

And he is strong enough to hold a fort against the whole 1-A... despite without a quirk, is that actually possible? I hope I meet him and face him in the maze, I want to test my limits.

At the grounds, Midnight walked up a concrete stage and whipped her whipped. She licked her lips and was looking at all the teens.

"So the first game for the first years are over, so let's take a quick at it, shall we?"

"So, let's see. What the second game would be!"

A roulette started to spin and finally stopped at 'Maze-Battle Royale!'

'Interesting, I theorised that some events would occur no matter how I meddled in and if my memory serves right... it was supposed to be a cavalry battle. But, seems like I did change the events.' (His future knowledge is already fading away due to him reliving 250+ years of Merlin's life. He basically has forgotten most of the plot... well, he remembers it a bit hazy.)

'But, the main question is... has this event changed the complete future? Well, only time will tell.'

"Now!" Midnight whipped her lash and pointed it at Oki, "This how it works,"

"Each person qualified has an equal amount of health and points, excluding the first place, that is!"

"Each person will be given a watch that must be worn all the time, and the watches show your health, points and also the explored map."

"You will have to wear this sticker on your spine just like the watch, and everyone has to wear it."

"Everyone will start the game with zero points except the top 10 positions. And the top 10 contestants will have a difference of 2 points indifference. That is, the tenth place will have 5 points, the ninth will have 7 and eight will have 9 and so on up to the second place."

"And... the first place will have...42 points right from the start."

"To earn points, one must defeat someone by bringing their health to zero, which will award one point... which is one way of earning a point, there will also be towers that will have twenty points, one can collect it by staying at it for 5 minutes. But once they step out of the tower before the 5-minute mark completes, they will lose one point ."

Midnight licked her lips and looked feisty at Oki, "Also, anyone defeats someone who has points, the person's points will be transferred to you. The game will go on for 40 minutes, and 16 students with the highest score will be qualified for the final stage!"

"Now... the things will be different for the first place."

"The first place will half of the health than others, and also their location, health and points can also be accessed every 5 minutes by every surviving participant."

"Also... the first place has to stay in the tower for 2minutes to extract the point, unlike others."

The moment the forty-eight qualified students heard this, all eyes were on Oki and Midoriya.

Eyes on Oki due to the difference of points was nearly double the second place, and eyes on Midoriya due to him being frail.

"The game starts in five minutes, and after the start five by five according to their rank will go in with 10 seconds interval. And each five must choose one of the entrances for entry."

At the teacher's spectator's room->

"I knew it. This happens all the time." All Might was sad, and he clenched his skinny fist. He felt as if he had let down Oki and Midoriya.

"Well, you know why right?" Snipe said with a sighing

"I do, of course. This is actually for them to learn that you should never stand too much and if you do, you will be weeded out by others." All Might.

"Yeah, ironically, the man who is very incarnate of standing out saying that." Vlad burst out into laughter.

"I have a feeling that Oki might fail." All Might said with slight regret.

"Well, statistically... yes." Nezu looked at Oki, who was reading the rules on a paper, "But, you know that Oki had always broken the statistics. He is always on the side of abnormality. Also, I am pretty sure he could do a good show before he lost... well, I am already going to bet online."

"Principal, on whom?" Vlad

"Oki, obviously." Nezu brought his phone and showing Oki's photos on a betting website. "Also, the outcome is 8times on Oki."

"That high?" All Might asked with a bewildered expression

"Well, due to the event which would mostly put the first place at a disadvantage, people have gone for Todoroki and Bakugo, and even Midoriya has an exchange of 1:6 and-"

"And Oki has 1:8, well that makes sense when u think logically," Vlad said, peeking at Oki, who was stretching his back.

"Oh! Seems like they raised it again. Now it's 1:9," Nezu said with a smile on his face as he showed his phone and this time all the teachers had could read the website name.

'That is an illegal website!'- All the teachers in the room screamed in their heads

At the ground, Oki P.O.V->

People were avoiding me and only eying on me as many had their minds set for me becoming their stepping stool... well, laughable.

Well, this event will be where I can show everyone that a preditor not necessarily has to be big against its prey, and I have to make sure to not exert my full prowess, I am pretty sure villains have already started eyeing me, they would do anything to hurt AllMight and there should be a guy who must be assessing my combat style from the stands after all my info could get them to become a millionaire.

I walked past many who seemed to be making groups. I can see that class-B already had made their group and was well planned, and I would say they would spawn camp against the places of 40-50. 1-A would go for towers, and after 15 minutes into the game, few would start coming out for me.

The logical way would be to take me down last as everyo- well, most think quirkless hero is the weakest prey, so they would want to feed me well before butchering the neck, but... this ain't anyone, they are upcoming heroes mostly, and so cautiousness is a must. 1-B would have already been wary of a quirkless who beat the quirks to first place.

Well, I am going to make sure 'Instinct' is in full action and use 'Light Step' to the absolut, hope I calculate my stamina consumption.

I look at the time on my watch, which is responsible for showing my stats and the time left for the beginning and end of the game.

"1 Minute left..."

I looked at a giant wall construct near Ground Beta, and it was huge. According to further instruction in my watch, there are trees, and buildings and many more inside the maze, and every entry point has 2 paths which branch and branch and goes on but out of everything, there will be 3 perfect ways to reach the centre at the middle from every entry point, well that is what the info book gave.

"So, entering any entry point without a bird's eye look is the same for everyone..."

But, unfortunately, I am not a normal everyone.

Entry point '2' is what my 'Instinct' urging me to go through... no clue why but at times like these, 'Instinct' has never let me down.

"Takemikazuchi!!?" A man with green worker uniform shouts.

"Here!" I give back so that he could see me in the midst of the participants.

"Have you chosen your route of entry?"

To which I nod and point towards the entry point '2'.

Many had seen me pointing towards the '2' so it will spread for others.
