Chapter 3: Quirk Assessment

He was pissed, royally pissed. That quirk less bastard Deaku somehow got into the top ten due to rescue points. Which was not mentioned before the test or during the orientation time, it was like a hidden piece and he didn't like that at all as it gave Deku the chance to score points.

But he can't do anything about it now. Taking a deep breath and calming down he opened the door to the class he is assigned to, Class 1A. As he entered, he saw a boy with white hair and golden eyes looking at him curiously. Even though he was sitting, one could see that he was above six feet tall, snorting. He just went ahead and sat down at a table and placed his legs on the table.

He didn't greet that geezer boy as he isn't keen on making friends in this class. He didn't want anyone around him as he is the best hero candidate and the future No. 1 Hero. As he thought that a small smile formed on his face.

After some time, his classmates came into the class one by one, he didn't even look in their way and was in his own world, that was until the glasses who had reprimand Deku for being a mumbling idiot in the orientation Hall came towards him in a stern face and started to speak "Student, you shouldn't be placing your leg on the desk. It's used for studying."

He didn't like this guy from the start, and now he is just telling him what to do and what not to do. Hearing that he got angrier and started a verbal clash with the glasses.

That however ended when the door opened and Deku came in. Seeing him he was even more pissed thinking 'Why is that quirkless bastard in the same class as me?'

As the glasses were speaking with Deku, someone spoke from outside "Go somewhere else if you want to play being friends."

The man in the yellow sleeping bag came inside the class while continuing what he was saying "This is a hero course."

Taking out something from his sleeping bag he drank it, then looking at the class he said "It took eight seconds to be silent. Time is limited, you kids are not rational enough."

Looking at the students who were confused, the man said "I'm Shota Aizawa, your homeroom teacher. This is a bit sudden, but put this on and gather in the field."

Saying his piece, Aizawa left the class room. As soon as he left Katsuki saw the white haired boy standing up and taking the gym clothes and leaving the classroom.

As he left, others followed what he did. After changing into gym clothes, Katsuki walked towards the field mentioned by Aizawa, along with the rest of the class.

When they reached there, Aizawa was standing there lazily. Seeing them, Aizawa said, "We will do your quirk assessment test."

"" Quirk assessment test? ""

Then the girl who had been talking with Deku spoke up "Then what about the entrance ceremony and orientation?"

"If you are going to become a hero, you don't have time for such leisurely events. U.A's selling point is how unrestricted its school traditions are. That also how the teachers run their classes." Aizawa paused for a bit looking at us the continued "You kids have been doing these since junior high too, right?" Observing us he continued speaking. "Physical fitness tests where you weren't allowed to use your quirks." he sighed "The country still uses average taken from results from students not using their quirks. It's not rational. Well the Ministry of Education is procrastinating." Aizawa looked at him and said "Bakugo, you finished at the top of the practical exam right?"

"Ah"

"In junior high, what was your best result for the softball throw?"

"67 meters," he replied.

"Then try doing it with your quirk. You can do whatever you want as long as you stay in the circle" Aizawa said that by showing him the circle, he walked over and took the ball from Aizawa and stood in the circle, getting impatient to sleep. Aizawa said to him, "Hurry up. Give it your all."

When he heard he spoke to himself "Well then.... " and winded his right and way back and screamed "DIIIIIEEEEEEE....." with an explosion at the end of the throw.

Looking at the measuring device Aizawa said "Know your maximum first. This is the most rational way to form the foundation of a hero." And showed the results to us.

"705.2 meters? Seriously?" A boy with blonde hair asked no one in particular.

A pink alien looking girl spoke with an excited grin "What's this? It looks fun!"

"We can use our quirks as much as we want! As expected of the hero course." Said another boy.

Hearing all this Aizawa spoke, spoiling all the dreams of the students " "It looks fun, " huh?. You have three years to become a hero. Will you have an attitude like that the whole time?" *Evil grin*

"Alright, whoever comes in last place in all eight tests will be judged to have no potential and will be punished with expulsion."

""" Huh? """

"We're free to do what we want about the circumstances of our students. Welcome to U.A's hero course." *Grin*

Hearing everything Aizawa said, a girl said "Last place will be expelled? But it's the first day of school! No, even if it wasn't the first day of school, this is too unfair."

Japan is covered with unfairness. Heroes are the ones who reverse those situations. If you wanted to go talk with your friends at Mickey D's after school, too bad.
