Time seemed to slow for the ash-blonde rocketing toward the outside of the ring. What just happened? Did she just...predict his movements? She saw him coming and did...this! How could this happen?

She was supposed to be afraid of him...Terrified! She hasn't been able to fight back since the start of school.

She was weak...she was nothing...and she goes and does this to him?!

Bakugo got ahold of his barings quick, flipped around in mid-flight, and blew himself back toward Ochako.

The gravity girl's smile broke, as the bomb boy came roaring right back at her.

"OCHAKO!" Itsuka called out, but it was useless.

Bakugo thrust both hands toward the bewildered brunette, launching the biggest blast he'd shown since the beginning of the competition. Smoke and flame engulfed half of the ring, and Ochako Ururaka came flying out of the blast, tumbling across the tiled ground until rolling to a stop.

Dead silence.

Bakugo stood back up, looking down at his downed opponent, who was as still as the dead. Imagine his surprise when the girl started to move. Ochako lifted her head to look at the bomb boy, her left eye swollen from the foot she just took.

The two just stared at each other for a while, Ochako with terrified dread in her eyes, and Bakugo with dominance and distaste in his.

Snapping out of her shock, Midnight decided enough was enough and struck her whip. "Ochako Ururaka is unable to continue! Katsuki Bakugo is the victor!"

The crowd erupted into boos and jeers at the boy but suddenly stopped as soon as they started when the bomb boy started to approach the girl. They were even more shocked when he offered her a hand. It seemed like he was showing the girl a sense of sportsmanship and respect.

But Deku knew exactly what the blasting bully was doing. After all, it was a trick he pulled numerous times back in junior high...

---------------------------

Ochako looked at the offered hand, dirt and scraps across her face.

She then looked to who it belonged to, the bomb boy who had terrified her since the first day of UA.

He had a scowl on his face, but not as ferocious as it usually was.

Deciding that it was a decent offer, she raised her hand and took his own.

A burning, stinging sensation enveloped her hand, causing her to wince in pain.

Before she could pull it away, Bakugo tightened his grip and pulled her close, making her look him in the eye.

His signature glowering glare was back on his face, hidden from the cameras and crowd as he spoke.

"You think you're pretty clever and tough, don't you pinkie? Well, you failed, because that's what you are! Never forget this moment, where you were beaten by the future number one hero for all to see! Don't even try getting any stronger, cause you'll never be as strong as me! ...no one will."

The bomb boy let Ochako go, leaving her staring up at him with wide, horrified eyes.

With his face still hidden from the crowd, he gave her an ugly, arrogant smirk, before letting it fall into his placid frown, turning, and walking away.

Ochako Ururaka was left frozen on her knees. She felt her eyes start to water and tiny droplets began dripping down her face.

She got up on her feet and headed the other way, walking as fast as she could to the way back inside.

------------------------------

The crowd was cheering and applauding the supposed kind gesture of the bomb boy, but the girls of class 1-A, after spending as long as they had with Bakugo, were not convinced by his supposed act of kindness.

"Well, look at that! Guess he's got a soft spot after all!" The skin-hardening boy smiled as he put his hands behind his head.

He then felt a series of scathing eyes belonging to the 1-A girls and grew nervous. "W-What?"

"Kirishima, you are such a blockhead!" Itsuka thundered as she stood and headed out of the bleachers, with the rest of the girls following her behind.

The rest of the boys only gave the redheaded boy disapproving looks and disappointed shakes of their head, making the har-skinned boy all the more confused.

------------------------------

"Nice to see that UA's finally beat some manners into that boy!" Mitsuki huffed as she held her folded arms with a proud smile on her face.

"Gotta hand it to the little lady, too! She really gave my boy a run for his money at the last second."

Inko was barely listening to her old friend as she watched the small brunette hurry back inside.

It was horrible to see what Katsuki had done to her throughout the entire match. She barely had a chance to defend herself.

A sick feeling came to the distraught mother as Ochako disappeared back into the inner structure of the stadium.

Izuku and Katsuki used to be friends back when they were children, but when he was diagnosed as Quirkless, her little boy didn't seem to want to play with little Bakugo anymore.

And over time, she recalled memories of her special boy coming home, fiddling with his clothes and casting his eyes down, with a forced smile on his face.

A clear sign that he was hiding something...

Was Bakugo...had Katsuki treated Izuku the same way he hurt that girl?

------------------------------

Itsuka and the 1-A girls headed down the hallway, desperate to find their defeated friend when the last person they wanted to run into approached them from the other end.

"YOU...!" The big-fist girl stored up to the trigger-happy blonde, her face contorted in unrestrained fury. "You mad, uncaring, merciless, son of a-!"

Bakugo raised an open and crackling palm at the girl, stopping her in her tracks, along with the rest of the girls.

He held a smug, superior smirk as he held his hand out, ready to strike if need be.

"...You're a monster!" The redhead spat as she took a regretful step back.

"I'm the best...And there's nothing you can do about it." Katsuki stated resolutely.

"I'm going to tell everyone about what you've done...what you've been doing to her, to all of us!" Itsuka spread her arms out to emphasize the whole class.

Bakugo chuckled. "Go ahead...tell them whatever you want. But they wouldn't dare kick me out, not with the power I have. Face it..there's just no getting rid of me. Now, out of my way...extras!"

Itsuka stepped out of the blasting blonde out of reflex, which Bakugo enjoyed all the more.

The glowering faces of the rest of the girls did nothing to weigh on him, as he stalked his way back to the bleachers, his head held high and a strut in his step.

"If he thinks he's safe just because of his quirk...he's in for a rude awakening!" Jiro growled under her breath.

"C'mon. We need to find Ochako." Itsuka ordered, leading the girls away from the smug bomb boy and down the halls to where the gravity girl had to be.

------------------------------

Deku walked through the inner hallways of the UA stadium, his mind replaying the horror show he and everyone else had witnessed only moments ago.

Every blast struck caused him to re-live every waking nightmare he gained while living under Bakugo's thumb.

He finally reached his destination, the waiting room for all combatants of the tournament. The sound of someone talking reached his ears, and he already knew who it was.

He found the door to be open, but leaned against the wall and peeked inside without being noticed.

"Hi, Dad...yeah, I'm okay...No, I don't need the hospital. Recovery Girl used her quirk on me, and now I'm fine. Huh? Oh, yeah...sorry for scaring you like that...I just...I didn't want to give up, you know..."

The gravity girl's voice started to crack.

Deku was still listening when Itsuka, along with the rest of the 1-A girls showed up.
