The ash-blonde was making his way down the hall, itching to finally show the world who the new number one hero was going to be.

As he spotted the way out at the end of the hall, someone came out from a corner and stopping him.

"Hey."

The bomb boy looked to his left to see the redheaded big-fist girl standing before him, blocking his path.

The premise alone grating at his ego. "What do you want, balloon-mitts?"

Itsuka folded her arms as she gave the boy a cold, hard glare. "I know how you've been treating Ochako."

The explosive blonde scoffed and made to walk past her. "Is that what this is about? Quit bugging me and go back to the rest of the extras."

Itsuka turned on her heel, her scowl growing all the more furious. "I'm not going anywhere until you hear what I have to say!"

Katsuki growled as he looked back, resolving that this chick wasn't going to leave him alone until he heard her out. "What?"

"I don't know what Ochako did to make you start targeting her...but, figuring how sweet she is, I'm guessing it was nothing at all.

And that you're just a bully who likes to make people feel weaker than you." The big sis of 1-A stated.

Bakugo took offence to that comment, as he shot his glare back at the big-hand girl.

"Frankly, I can't understand how UA even let you in, in the first place." Itsuka shook her head at the fact itself as the bomb boy stomped back to her, coming face-to-face with the girl giving him grief.

"It's because I'm the best! Because I'm the strongest one here! and if the little powderpuff can't handle it, then she should just quit!"

"And that's what you're gonna try and make her do in your match, isn't it?!"

The big sis of 1-A remembered the terrified look on the rosy-cheeked girl's face when her name appeared next to Bakugo's on the big screen.

She was as pale as a sheet and looked like she about to pass out on her feet. Yet, even knowing that she was going up against the boy who had been making her hero school life a nightmare, she refused to forfeit, wanting to fight with all she had.

"Listen here, you overblown jerk! If you hurt Ochako in that ring more than needs be, I will make you sorry. I'll tell Aizawa about your behaviour, regardless of how much Ochako begs me not to, and see to it that your kicked out of this school, and if not, downgraded to General Studies!"

Katsuki Bakugo was never one to take threats well.

Tiny bursts crackled in his open palm to his side as he cocked his head to one side in a demented nature. "Is that right?"

Itsuka ignored the sweat rolling down her brow, clenching her fist tight in determination for her friend.

After a while of the two starings each other down, Bakugo gave a tired huff, extinguishing his quirk and sitting back down. "Fine! I'll go easy on the round-face. Happy?"

"No...but, thank you." With that, the big sister of 1-A walked past the bomb boy, heading back to the bleachers.

Bakugo watched her go, scoffing in annoyance as he continued on his way to the arena...

------------------------------

Everything was so backwards at this school. All of the other extras were all getting along, and being all buddy-buddy, and he was getting punished every he 'got out of hand'.

He got away with way worse back at Aldera, so why was everyone giving him a hard time now?

Whatever. They could try and reign him in as much they wanted.

He was here to show everyone he was the best, and no one was going to stop him!

The bomb boy cast his attention up to his class bleachers, spotting the brooding half 'n' half boy in the furthest corner.

Shoto looked back at him, the two sharing a staredown until the ash-blonde turned away, having no choice but to focus on his poor excuse of an opponent.

He returned his attention to the round-faced softie on the ground.

With an unimpressed scoff, he stuffed his hands back in his pockets, turned around and started to walk out of the ring...

------------------------------

Deku watched as his former tormentor started to head out of the arena, leaving the gravity girl laying on the ground behind him.

The boy released a breath he didn't know he was holding. It was painful to watch, but at least it was over, and quickly.

His relief was suddenly dowsed when he saw the rosy-checked girl move her arms, pushing herself back up to her feet again.

"Oh, no..."

------------------------------

Bakugo was about to step out of the ring's boundaries when the crowd rallied into a wild cheer.

He scowled.

What the heck was up with them? They were booing him at the beginning of the whole festival, and now they were-

It finally dawned on him about who the crowd was really cheering for.

Katsuki snapped around and saw the rosy-cheeked girl back on her feet, a newfound fire in her eyes.

Stuck in a state of shock, Midnight snapped out of herself and adjusted her microphone headpiece. "O-Ochako Ururuaka! Do you wish to continue?"

The gravity girl panted heavily, the effects of the explosion clear in her body language. She turned to the M-Rated heroine and gave her a nod. "Yes...Yes, I do!"

Nemuri was reluctant to do so but nodded back to the brave girl. "As you wish! Let the match continue!"

This time, it was Ochako to go on the offensive, charging head-on at Bakugo. The bomb boy got over his surprise and glowered at the oncoming girl.

How dare she...How dare she embarrass him like this! This was supposed to be an easy win!

Fire crackled in his open palms.

Fine. No more Mr nice number one.

If this was what she wanted, then he was more than happy to give it to her!

Right when Ochako was in range, Bakugo unleashed another devastating blast, sending the girl flying across the ring.

------------------------------

"NO!"

Deku couldn't stand here and watch this any longer! He had to do something!

The villain in disguise was halfway over the ledge of the balcony, ready to jump out onto the field and stop the public slaughter.

However, before he could do so, the rational half of his mind stopped him.

He couldn't throw his plan out the window now for some perfect strange,r even if she was the only girl who was ever nice to him.

Besides, this wouldn't be the first time Bakugo had struck down someone innocent in the guise of training or sport since entering UA.

He could only imagine what the bomb boy had gotten away with since getting in.

His train of thought was cut short once again, as the kind angel lifted herself up once more and charged at the bomb boy, only to be met with another faceful of explosive fire. I

t was like watching his school life being reenacted right before his eyes.

The green hooded boy wanted to stop this. He wanted to help her so bad.

He wanted to give Bakugo exactly what he deserved for so long right there, right now!

To see how he liked it when he had no chance of defending himself against someone who wished him harm.

...But he had too much riding on his plan to forgo it.

With a heavy heart and a guilty knot in his stomach, Deku chose to stay where he was, and pray that the match would be over soon.

But not as soon as he feared...
