Chapter 15

Neito's POV:

Eliza was released in the morning and stayed in her apartment all day. I wanted to go visit her but we needed to train. Today we were training against dummies without our powers. I punched and tackled the dummies but it wasn't as much fun as against real people. Suddenly the dummies started moving and trying to pin me. I kicked them away and knocked them down. A few landed on top of me but I quickly flipped over and elbowed them. Eventually I had defeated all the dummies and walked off the platform with a wide grin. I kissed Denki as he headed up for his turn.

"Good luck." I whispered to him

Hitoshi and I watched him and cheered him on. He wasn't doing too well and when some landed on top of him he tried my trick but failed. He was pinned after only defeating three enemies. He came back to us with a frown. He was usually a walking ball of sunshine and it was heartbreaking to see him this sad.

"It's ok." I said "You'll do better next time."

"I'll never be a hero! I can't do anything." He said

"Come on Denks. You're great with your powers you just need to train more without." Hitoshi tried to help

"No, I'm horrible at everything. I haven't won a fight since we got here." He said and stormed away without even asking permission to leave

It was Toshi's turn to go up so I gave him a quick kiss and went up to Eraserhead.

"Sir, may I go find Denki? He left a few seconds ago without permission." I asked

"Go. When you find him, tell him he has detention. Be back soon" He answered

I walked in the direction Denki had left and went in search of him. I checked all the obvious places like the bathrooms and our apartment. I had almost given up when I realized he probably wasn't on school property. I headed to the front office and sure enough he had signed out of all his classes for the rest of the day. I signed out as well saying I had a mission and continued the search.
