Chapter 66- 'Awekening'

Hey guys sorry for the slow release.

Here's the update. I have been stressing out about work for the last 2 months. Today I have finally 'finished the documents' and gave them to the company. So either they take me permanently or they fire me.

It's out of my hands now. And it feels great.

You can expect faster releases now. All there is left is a random interview with the big boss. They don't even tell you when. So I'm not even going to think about that.

I'm happy that I can just go back to chilling and writing.

"DIEEE"

Toxic Chainsaw just jumps at Syndrome, purple ooze starts to form on his skin.

But Syndrome points his hands at ToxicC and a blue energy beam hits him and stops him in place. Syndrome then pushes and TToxicC goes flying into a building.

Syndrome takes out some support gears like a stun gun and a stun-staff. He didn't have to wait long because ToxicC dashed right back at him. He looked roughed up but that didn't seem to bother him.

Syndrome dodges and keeps hitting him with the staff causing him to stiffen up because of the electoral current.

"Keep Still!!" ToxicC yells out. Syndrome just ignores him and continues to mumble something under his breath.

" Eight.. Nine.. Ten" he points his hand at Syndrome and the blue beam stops him in place.

"HUAH" Syndrom swings his arm hard. And ToxicC is sent flying again with an even bigger velocity. He goes straight through a couple of walls

*Cough. Cough* ToxicC stands back up from the rubble and dusts himself off

"So that's it. Your quirk has a time limit. That just means I have to cut you when you cant use it. Now it's my turn."

Purple ooze starts to gather in his arms in large quantities. He then swung his arms upward

"TOXIC RAIN"

The purple ooze scatters once it reached its peak height. And started falling down like purple raindrops.

Syndrom tried his best to protect himself with various objects. But the ooze ate through it and hit him directly

"AHHHHHH!"

The ooze ate through his suit and started dissolving his skin.

"Heh people are really dumb. I saw you inject yourself as soon as you entered the fight. You think a few antidotes will help you fight me? I don't just make poisons. You Heros are arrogant pieces of shit. That's why all of you die when you fight me. I create Acid as well you morons"

While Syndrom was dying on the ground and ToxicC was monologing.

I was breaking down his stats.

ToxicC has a lot of endurance. But I already established that a few stronger hits and he is down. But his quirk is a surprise. All my information showed that he just makes the poison. Hence the DOKU on his chainsaw. But Acid? That was new. He is basically the villain version of Mina Ashido.

And just so happens to be one of the types that counters me somewhat. Well if we were on the same level he would counter me. But since the whole point of this isn't to win but to make a solid reason for my 'evolution' I need to play it right.

"Yo ugly!" I call him out. He turns his head around looking directly at me

"YOU AGAIN? Didn't you ran off like a little bitch? Why are you back"

"First of all. I didn't run away. I was here the whole time. It's not my fault you have the attention span of a goldfish. Along with its intelligence apparently."

And 3.2.1

"WHAT DID YOU SAY TO ME YOU LIL BITCH"

Easy.

"You heard me. Fish for brains. Get your stupid ass over here so I can kick it to the ground again." To finish things off with style I give him a middle finger.

His face turned red from anger and he rushed like an angry bull.

He swings I dodge and hit back. That went on back and forth for about a minute. I was looking for a way to make the situation desperate for myself. But it looks like I can only get hit by the poison.

I already injected myself with it. I touched the chainsaw when we were fighting. I already have the antibodies for it being made.

But how do I get hit by a chainsaw without it making any 'lasting damage'. This is getting filmed. I don't want people to know about regeneration. This early.

Sigh.. Looks like I will have to risk it. I don't want to use other quirks when I'm acting as 'Shinichi Kodo.' But it looks like I have no other option. Telekinesis is the best way. I could slow down the chainsaw so it only cuts me a little in the chest. I could do it with my Slowed Down perception and my speed.

But that would just bring unnecessary risks. Imagine he gets a stupid power boost and cuts my neck. already lost my legs because of my arrogance. I will not repeat the same mistake again.

"DIEEEE!!!"

I use this moment to use 'Telekinesis' on the chainsaw. The change was minimal, I don't think ToxicC even noticed. The arc of the chainsaw moved slightly and I moved so it will only scratch my chest and draw a little blood. I made sure once the chainsaw was near me to use telekinesis on it constantly so it wouldn't go deeper than that.

"Hahaha. Got you! You little bastard. My poison will spread and start to paralyze you"

Hmm this poison is not actually half bad I might make it in the future. I used the sample to make antibodies so it won't kill me. I'll let it run its course but it will be weakened. I need to show the signs of being poisoned for this to work.

"Now be a good boy and sit still so I can tear you apart. HIAAA!!" He lunged at me again with his wild swings

I already noticed people filming this with their phones. With each swing, I lowered my speed making it seem like the poison is affecting me. My skin got paler and my lips started to turn blue.

I threw a few punches and kicks but there was zero force behind them. Further making it obvious I losing.

Then I purposely fell on one knee and started to pant, and glared at the man.

"Heh. So this is as far as you go. I expected more but I guess you are still a child. Now Let me hear you scream. HAHAAHH" He lifted his chainsaw.

This is it!!!

### (3rd POV)

People held their breaths as the chainsaw was falling down.

Then the miracle happened. The boy who was about to die started changing. He grew sandy yellow fur. Especially around his neck. He started to grow his face turning more animalistic.

He raised his hand. Which was a mix between a human hand and a paw.

ToxicC was so startled he froze in place especially after the beast looked him in the eye.

The beast took a deep breath and

"ROOAARRRRR!!" a defenening roar took place. everybody covered their ears ToxicC the closest one to the blast dropped his chainsaw and screamed as he covered his bleeding ears.

The beast stood up now taller than ToxicC. It was easy to see what he had become.

A Lion.

He raised his paw and slammed it into ToxicC's face. Sending him flying and skidding around the ruble.

"AHHHH FUCK YOU! MY EARSSS" he shakily stood up yelling out because his hearing was damaged.

" TOXIC ARMOR" He started to make dark red Ooze.

"TAKE THIS ANIMAL FREAK!!!"

The Lion grabbed an iron rod connected to a partially broken concrete block. He then bucked his knees, leaned a bit forward and he was GONE.

The next thing saw was him appearing in front of ToxicC. They heard was the sound of concrete cracking and ToxicC screaming in pain. The pain must have made him lose focus because all of his red goo fell apart on the ground.

The Lion saw this and raised his hand. Sharp claws extended even more from his morphed fingers. He then started slashing at high speeds. His hands were a blur. When he stopped There were numerous claw marks on the Villians Body. He fell backward with a loud Thud.

His chest was still rising but he was alive. Bleeding but alive.

*BANGGG!!!*

They turned around and saw another dust cloud. People started running away thinking its another villain.

"HAVE NO FEAR"

" BECAUSE."

" I. AM. HERE"

All Might is here. We are saved. That was on everybody's mind

The people were relieved and just as they were about to say something the sound of footsteps echoed on the street. The Lion was limping towards All Might.

He then started to shift back into a young boy. He looked terrible. Pale as a ghost and blood leaking from his blue lips.

"You are late" The boy spat out. He then lost consciousness and fell forward only to be caught in the hands of the Number One Hero.

The people would never forget this scene. The birth of a hero.

If only they knew the Truth.
