Chapter 16: Sports Festival(1)

The U.A. Sports festival was a major event, akin to Olympics, Super Bowl or World Championships.

So it is broad casted live throughout the Japan on channels, this could be unofficially considered a debut of future young heroes so people are excited and so is the media.

After the U.S.J. villain incident there was no official statement from the school and the whole thing was treated as like nothing happened.

The media reporters were not pleased they didn't get to cover a trending hot new article.

But the today with this sports festival they can get a few gossips that will become trending article.

The Orphanage kids were happy they will get today off from studies to watch the U.A. Sports Festival.

Since Canaria can't bring so many children to such crowded place they will watch it through the live broadcast.

Biding farewell to them, Izayoi ran off to his destination.

The decoration and craze for the festival were visible through the sparkling eyes of every visitor.

From Food stalls to hero gimmick every kind of stall was set up, just like any other festival. Pro Heroes were patrolling the area like Mt. Lady, Kamui Woods etc.

Given that they always put their experience to good strategic use and give it their all for this last chance. The third years usually take the center stage.

But all eyes are on the first years this time around due to the U.S.J. villain incident.

The entry was strictly monitored, various security checks.

Police was stationed for restricted areas of campus.

[Class 1-A Prep Room]

Students were to gather in PE room first, some were tense, some were nervous, some were confident.

All were natural responses given their performance would be broad casted live throughout the country. And this is an opportunity to get recognition of some big name pro hero.

"I'm totally nervous" Toru said

"Yeah, me too but we can't let this hinder our performance" Momo advised as an honor student she has been on center stage many times but even for her it was nerve wracking.

"What about you Izayoi?" Toru asked again

"Nothing, just here to have fun" Izayoi said while munching on rice crackers

"Fun?!"

"Yeah, you can think that way to ease your nervousness" Kirishima added

"Nice, then I too will have fun" he continued harding his fists.

"But why can't we wear out hero costumes?" Mina asked

"They are not allowed in interest of fairness." Ojiro replied

After that Izayoi summoned everyone in the circle, they all bumped their fist together.

"Let's do Our Best!!" Izayoi

"Yes!!" Momo

"Let's win!!" Mina

"Ribit!!"

"Let's show them how manly we are!!"

"Die!!"

"Yeah!!" Jiro

"Let's Go!!" Toru

Everyone shouted their own catch phrase.
