Chapter 11 What the fuck?
Shigeo Susumu pov:
It's been 1 year since I was taken by the association and my daily schedule consisted of them coming and asking me the same questions all the while electrocuting the shit out of me then leaving me alone till I recovered and then repeat it again, I was being fed a porridge that tasted like a month old fish, but I still ate it because it would give me the nutrients important for growth and if I grow I would be able to use my quirk better.
The only reason I could hold on for this long is because all people in important positions in my past life recieved training to resist torture so asto not spill important information.
Every second of the free time I got I was practicing my quirk, I don't know if they could check if I was using my quirk or not but I was pretty sure that they couldn't see what I was doing with my quirk because I only practised on an atomic level, messing around with atoms to increase my control and memorising all the elements I could make and what they did.
About a few months ago I learned a neat little trick, whenever they were about to electrocute me I temporarily weakened the nerves around part from which the current would come, this decreased the amount of pain I felt and made it much more bearable.
The area I could feel with my quirk increased upto 10 meters now, it seemed the more I used my quirk the more refined my brain became allowing me to analyse the information more efficiently, I also noticed that the smaller I made my domain the more control I had over it.
Another trick I learned was sending what was written on a page even if it was covered or written with invisible ink, whenever something was written on a surface it has a height although impossible to see with the naked eye, it is there and with my quirk that allowed me to sense things as small as atoms identifying what was written on a surface took only a little effort, and I was thankful I learnt this because most of the time the association workers or the association president herself would sometimes carry files containing classified information, one day the president carried a file containing all the details about me and my parents as well as all the information regarding a project called "Villain extinction weapon", seriously who came up with these edgy names.
Anyway the information I learned from the files was that my 'mother' was paid and living a luxurious life in Musutafu the safest place in Japan currently due to the presence of All might and also all about the steps of the weapon project, how they would first force me into submission then train me and make me a pro hero, all the while making me do the dirty work of assassinating villains and corrupt heroes, I was pretty sure the pro hero thing was just an alibi if I was somehow caught using my quirk in public.
Now that I know their plan I would have an easier time planning what I would do next, there was no way I would end up as a pawn for these people but the training they would give in stage 2 would certainly be helpful, now I just need to fool them.
The next day when they came, madam President was present there as well, she looked at me and said.
"I'm honestly getting tired of this, we will give you a better future filled with glory but you only make this more difficult for all of us,I don't want to do this so just stop resisting and accept your fate." She said though I could tell that every word that came out of her mouth was a lie.
I considered accepting for the sake of my plan but I decided to wait a little more to make it more believable.
"Go to hell." I said acting as if I was tired and out of breath.
"It seems you won't learn, increase the current to the maximum limit, just enough so that he doesn't die." she ordered
The operator looked nervous but did as he was told nonetheless.
I didn't forget to dull my nerves just before he pressed the switch but even then the pain was incomparable to the pain I felt even when I was electrocuted the first time, It felt like my nerves were slowly and painfully dissolving and soon everything went black.

Madam President Pov:
It's been over an year since we caught Shigeo, the best weapon Candidate we could find but he has yet to give up despite the intense torture, though he is showing signs of crumbling so I decided to give him a little push and ordered the current be increased to the highest limit without killing him, he fainted but we will see the results after he wakes up.
'The higher-ups are pressuring me, if this goes on my job will be at risk so please just give up.'

As I regained consciousness I was back in the same dark room I had seen hundreds of times but this time I noticed something different, out of the corner of my eye I spotted a circular icon.
I could vaguely make it out due to my enhanced senses, it looked like a circle withing another bigger circle, the smaller circle was blue while the bigger circle was divided into three parts coloured red, yellow and green respectively, this type of symbol was unknown to me.
Whenever I tried to turn my head to look at it it would move along with my sight of vision, I couldn't sense it with my quirk as if It didn't exist at all, i tried focusing on it then I tried poking it mentally and my whole vision went white with the words GOOGLE in the center along with a search bar below it.
"What the fuck?"
